So, I'm kind of sad because I've drank here and had a great time but have never ordered food. We ordered 10 creole honey wings and a beef on weck with tots. I think these are pretty standard buffalo foods, but damn I am so disappointed. The wings were so tiny, and I got that weird extra wing that comes in the pack that you should throw in as a freebie. The flavor was good. The beef on weck was decent but NOT served with horseradish. Um, what? The tots were standard. I've been watching my diet lately and trying not to eat garbage, but this was my first cheat-ish day in 2 months. I'm just so sad I spent money and calories on something that wasn't great. Damn Bg Tree....I had high hopes from all your prior reviews!

The Wing Bros got it right! Some of the most solid wings I've ever had in my life. Actually I'm quite certain that I've never had a better wing. High praise. Phenomenal local's spot btw. Regs are friendly. Cooks are friendly. Angela (bartender) is the best! Can't go wrong here. Love all the Bills memorabilia. Makes it feel like your pappy's basement. Now that's good ambiance. We stuck around the stadium for the next stop on our Wing tour and paid a visit to the famous Big Tree Inn on the corner of Jim Kelly Blvd and Big Tree Rd in Orchard Park. I once heard Jim Kelly in a TV interview say that Big Tree had the best wings in the area. I thought, 'Are you sure it doesn't have anything to do with the hand carved wooden sculpture of you and all your buddies out front?' While we can't say whether Jim was swayed by the wooden homage to him on the street named after him, it turns out Jim was spot on regardless. And with all the business this review is sure to provide them, Big Tree may want to consider wooden sculptures of the members of the Wing Kings. Sauce: 5 / 5 The standard wing was absolutely flawless. Dictionary definition of a medium Buffalo chicken wing and everything our forefathers had in mind when they slaughtered the first Buffalo and harvested its wings. The BBQ flavored options provided a perfect balance to the standard wing - sweet and spicy in perfect harmony. Good lord, these were tasty. Meat: 5 / 5 Perfect sizing and consistency. Very meaty and perfectly shaped. If someone wanted to draw a picture of a chicken wing, this would be their nude model. Cook: 4.5 / 5 Very juicy with absolutely no dryness. Arrived at our table piping hot and stayed that way until the 50th wing. I'm not sure why we didn't give 5 / 5 other than we must've been wary of awarding a perfect score to a place we frankly weren't expecting to get it. A HUGE day for the Big Tree - 14.5 / 15 - the HIGHEST YET!

If you want to watch football with fans who watch football, come here. Great vibe. Great crowd. And order the Roast Beef on Weck; I will fly from Tampa in nine degree weather for this salty gloriousness.

Big Tree Inn is a place that I've always wanted to visit due to its place in Buffalo history as a watering hole for Bills legends past. While in orchard park recently, I finally had the chance to make this happen. What I can say about Big Tree now that I have visited is that they don't appear to have changed much since those early 90's Superbowl runs. Much of the bar decor (especially the bathroom) seems liked it was probably present in those days. We came in around lunch time and sat at the bar with a group of what I assume are the regulars. We had a double order of wings (hot) and although they looked great when they came out, they ended up being closer to a mild/medium situation. The bartender was nice and it made for an overall pleasant trip however my criticism of the place would be that the photos on the wall weren't the only thing in the bar that links you back to its 1980/1990 hayday.

Best wings I've had in Buffalo area! Super convenient stop if you are in for a home game at Highmark Stadium. It is right around the corner, and is also not too crowded on a Saturday night. We came with 6 people at 8pm and could grab a table no problem. 10/10 recommend, would come back!

Was windy so they put the fire pit on, after 15 we asked to turn it off because it was too hot. We had to go up to the bar & order, flights are not served outside. We had apps....pretzel with spicy mustard, queso & pub sauce, boom boom shrimp, fried pickles with jalapeño ranch dipping sauce, & lobster eggrolls with jalapeño ranch dipping sauce. The apps were all real good but so filling we barely touched our meal. I ordered off the summer menu, Yellowstone campfire plate. It came with beef brisket, bbq chicken, baked beans, Mac& cheese and French fries. What I nibbled on was really good but unfortunately in all the confusion never took the leftovers. Everyone else mostly got salads and the summer quesadillas. We just ordered too much food for lunch.

Food: 0/10 Alright this is the third time I've come to this location. I'm trying to be fair but the bad food is consistent. For instance tonight I got the "campfire" plate which was fries, Mac and cheese, chicken, and brisket. Fries? Too hot to eat first. Mac and cheese? Literally colder than room temp and DRY! No cheese...like cold dry noodles? The brisket was slimy and small portion sized, the chicken was fine I guess. Everything else was so gross though by the time I got to the chicken I didn't care. I've come every time with my family of 4, and all 3 experiences were the same. I wish the food was anything but what it is because I'd love to come back here. I'll never recommend it and I'm actually just going to give away my $100 gift card to anyone who wants to dare to eat here.

I did enjoy the maple fire glaze though. Really liked the all you can eat salad and soup bar. More restaurants should do this. And you can add it on to your meal for $6. Great deal and value. Our service was great and attentive and the restaurant itself had a nice old "historic" feel to it. Like it's been a neighborhood bar for decades. I'd say come before a game, but don't go out of your way to try it.

I was visiting and stopped in a for a late dinner and I just say I was surprised that it wasn't a little busier (Friday night at 8pm) however it being in the middle of winter I get it. Service was friendly and quick. My only thing is we ordered 4 glasses of wine and rather than suggest a bottle at price X; we were charged for 4 glasses for about $10 higher than the bottle. Business I guess but that's the difference in different levels of service. The food was as other's have said, not the best, not bad though. We got 2 wraps, the veggie lasagna & the Danny's Steak Sandwich. Ambiance is definitely local bar/restaurant spot for your night at the stadium (game or concert) but not something I would go out of your way.
