I have booked Nisa three times -- for my bridal portraits, my wedding day (for myself, bridesmaids, and also my mom and my husband's mom), and an additional portrait session (not wedding related) -- and all three times I was thrilled with the results. I cannot say enough good things about her. First, Nisa's work: She will bring out your natural and best features, and perfect any problem areas without a heavy, overdone look (another reviewer described it as "the best version of yourself" and that's completely accurate). In my bridal and wedding photographs, I saw myself, not the makeup -- but a really beautiful, flawless self. For my wedding day, the youngest in my party was my 21-year old sister, and the oldest was my 65-year old mother-in-law. Everyone looked gorgeous and age-appropriate, which is a really important skill. Nisa is also capable of doing many different makeup styles. For my other portrait session, I wanted a more sexy, evening look -- I loved what she did so much (a moderate smokey eye) that I am considering booking Nisa for a how-to lesson so that I can learn how to do it myself! Second, Nisa's personal professionalism: She is a true professional -- punctual, responsive in communication, and completely reliable -- but still warm and friendly. She has a quiet and calming presence that can be extremely helpful in potentially busy/stressful situations (like weddings!). Nisa is -- in a word -- incredible. She struck the balance I was looking for on my wedding day: where I still looked like myself, but the best version of myself. And she nailed it. I felt confident, natural, and, well, gorgeous. And really, who doesn't want that when everyone is looking at you? Wow! Nisa is an artist. She did my makeup for engagement pictures and the results were gorgeous! I usually don't wear makeup and when I do, I try to go for a very natural look. Nisa Nicole did my wedding make-up nearly a year ago. I was referred to her by a friend who had used Nisa Nicole for her own wedding. My friend looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day. I hired Nisa on a recommendation from our venue's wedding coordinator for my wedding day; she did my makeup and also my bridesmaids, mother in law, and stepmom. I can't say enough good things about the experience! The "run through" helped us figure out exactly what I wanted for the big day (though I didn't really change much, Nisa gets a good feel for what fits your style.) On the wedding day she helped me stay calm and collected, and did an absolutely beautiful job with all the makeup.
