If I could give these ladies 100 stars I would!! My sister used Rhea back in 2016 for her wedding and I used her and the team again for my wedding in February 2024. Kelley is the best hair girl ever! I showed her my inspo pic and my dress at my first appointment before my bridal portraits and she absolutely delivered. She was such a joy to sit and talk with too, it was like we weren't even strangers and had been friends since childhood. She made me feel so comfortable the whole time and I cannot say enough great things about her! I will definitely be coming back to her for more help with future portraits! Also - my hair stayed all through dancing on the dance floor plus going out on Rainey after! (I even went down the slide at Unbarlievable and nothing fell ) my husband was incredibly impressed by the end of the night that it was still nearly perfect when he had to take all the Bobby pins out of my hair LOL Rhea!! She is the BEST. I'm not a make up guru or glam girl by any means and I've always struggled as a bridesmaid in past weddings bc I ask for a neutral look and it never turns out how I want or like. I have never been complimented before by so many people on my hair and makeup, not only by people at the wedding, but also by friends seeing pictures and by total strangers at the venue for the reception! I signed up for a makeup lesson. It was not completely what I expected. I showed up and had all my make-up and brushes with me. I am glad I did this per what other reviewers said but it was never suggested by Adore. I explained I am not that great with eyes and just okay with lips. So the makeup artist showed me techniques and color pairings. I asked a lot of questions but never actually applied any makeup. In my head, I thought it would be more hands-on on my end. I have NEVER received as good of customer service than I did with Adore when trying to make an appointment last minute. I emailed them a week prior to getting our family photos done and desperately pleaded for my daughter and I to get our hair done and my makeup done. I emailed them on a Sunday morning and they IMMEDIATELY emailed me back and told me they could do it! I was shocked. Replying to emails on a Sunday? This place must be amazing. Not only did they confirm they could do it on a Sunday, they also worked with my schedule and actually came in the next Sunday (today!) to do our hair and my makeup. I still can't believe these ladies took time out of their weekend to make sure my daughter and I looked beautiful for our photos! When we got there, both ladies made us feel at ease. They were extremely kind to my six year old daughter and chatted with her while they were blow drying her hair. She's quite the chatter box and has a hard time sitting still but they were SO kind and engaging with her. I was so shocked at their patience and kindness. My daughter has long hair and always wants to get her hair done "like Mommy" so we decided to get a blowout with curls. She looked absolutely beautiful when they were done with her hair. I almost cried but couldn't because I didn't want to ruin my makeup! My makeup looked AMAZING. She did such an amazing job. I never get my makeup done so when I do, I really really look forward to it. My eyebrows looked incredible and she did my makeup EXACTLY how I asked. It wasn't too dramatic but it definitely made a statement It was perfect. I have never felt more beautiful. And then let's talk about MY HAIR. Goodness! My hair looked exactly like the picture I showed her. That's never happened to me! I will always show a stylist a picture but they never get it right. Not only was this perfect AND it also didn't look like it had a ton of hairspray or product in it. It was exactly what I wanted. It was so important to me to look nice for our photos. We only take them once a year and it captures a beautiful moment in time with my family. Lastly, both ladies were very patient with my daughter which really blew my away. She's hyper, can't sit still and was in and out of the room frequently after she got her hair done. They were super relaxed about it and talked to her the entire time. My friends know that I am not the type to spend money on "enhancements" like acrylic nails or hair extensions. I've always been pretty low-maintenance; so much that I won't even highlight my hair because I can't keep up with it. Rhea and her team at Adore have been doing my hair and makeup since my wedding 5 years ago where they came onsite to do makeup for my entire wedding party (and people still talk about how much they loved their makeup that day). They are just FANTASTIC!! I have 3-4 events a year where I can totally relax and put myself in their hands for hair and makeup. They are absolute professionals: considerate of time, experts at their jobs; and to top it off, they are all just such good people. No catty gossip & pretension in this salon...I feel like family every time I walk through the door. They ALWAYS do a flawless, amazing job. Rhea has also been micro-blading for years now. My make-up was BEAUTIFUL and the application process was flawless (Rhea's years of experience are definitely evident in her application - and she trains everyone for continuity and quality control). I also loved everything else from the vintage-glam decor to the safe, healthy make-up products (all-natural, paraben free) to the friendly, nurturing staff. Rhea is very obviously the "salon mommy" who cares for her staff in the same way she cares for her clients; together, they all create a very comforting and nurturing atmosphere. During my application, Rhea made sure to get to know me and apply the make-up in the best way to make me feel the most beautiful and be able to duplicate later, if I wanted (the make-up bar "looks" are a guide... Not cookie-cutter applications they stick on everyone, but instead are customized for each individual). She also went above and beyond to teach me ways to improve my own techniques. I was referred here by my roommate. She gave me their number and said that they usually don't answer the phone - apparently there is no receptionist - but they will call you back fairly quickly. This was definitely the case for me! Rhea called me back in less than 10 minutes! I can appreciate that they don't have a person dedicated to the phones, but it would be a problem if I didn't get a fairly quick call back. So, good job guys! I scheduled an appt with Kelli to get my eyebrows done. I was able to get an appt for the next day at a convenient time for me without any problem. When I got there, Kelli took time to TEACH me how to maintain the wax for a little longer. I thought this was pretty awesome. 1. I can keep them looking good for longer. And 2. She is confident in her skills that its ok to share some tips! So, we went over that, how to shape them, where appropriate marking are, etc. Then she waxed them. She really look a lot of time to make sure they were perfect, and they were! Definitely will keep coming here! The only drawback is the parking. There's about 6 spots right in front, but they are kind of on top of each other. When I went, it was a bit later and they weren't too busy, so I didn't have a problem. Rhea did my bridal make up and Kelley did my hair. They also did my maid of honor's as well. I was originally very cautious about having my hair and make up done by non-Asian people since i am Asian. My skin color is usually hard to match and my hair is very thick and coarse and I have a lot of it. Rhea assured me they had done bridal makeup and hair for Asian brides in the past. And I'm glad I decided to go with Adore. I would recommend doing a trial hair and make up session because I did end up changing the makeup style from my trial to my actual day of wedding. This salon is absolutely amazing! Two years ago, I was visiting family in Austin over the Christmas holiday, and I really wanted to try out the Jentry Kelley makeup line (which they carry at Adore). I called to make an appointment and even though it was the holidays, and they had a lot of events planned, they made the time for me to come in and try all the products (not only was it fun, but I left with a big bag of products!).
