My family members and I made a lot of commitment, spending four hours of waiting and completing all the necessary procedures to purchase NISSAN Altima SR Special Edition as we had already received (a) a price of car and (b) special finance promotion (0.0%) opportunity. However, after a long hours, Finance guy suddenly brought up a new information (a) $4,000 more to pay or (b) special interest is 5.9% -- credit score is excellent (greater than 750) across all credit resources. I asked and confirmed several times if there is any hidden cost. I realized that the dealer is faking us or at least they never helped us to make an informed decision, but pushed us in the last minute to accept the offer of paying $4,000 more or take 5.9% APR, something never anticipated. Even the finance guy put all the moneys (including tax and titles etc.) on loan without our approval. To make a long story short, I found that the experience shows how this dealership is making a money from the customer and violate organizational values and missions, i.e., Nissan promise as below: OUR PROMISE TO YOU (1) We will respect your time (NO They never did!) (2) We will market our products and services honestly (NO they never did!) (3) We will employ a professional, well-trained and knowledgeable staff (Extremely rude manager on site and eve harassing customer) (4) We will maintain a clean, comfortable and modern facility (Minimal) (5) We will offer only products and services that meet your needs (They faked us for their own benefits with malpractice) (6) We will provide clear explanations of all pricing and paperwork (nobody informed me about the hidden policy or cost that the finance guy noted to us in the last minute) (7) We will deliver your vehicle clean with a full explanation of features (somewhat) (8) We will treat you as a guest in our home (No I felt my family was kidnapped). We spent almost $100 taking UBER, expecting to pick up our car. But we received nothing but irrational and unethical business practice, and mistreating customers. had to give 1 star in order to write this review but it really deserves 0 stars. I just wanna put it out there to anyone looking to buy a vehicle please stay away from Nissan 112. Covid has caused many businesses to lose money including car dealerships so this where many of them have come up with scam tactics to move their inventory and make up for lost revenue. Every dealership is guilty of this but not every dealership in my opinion would have screwed me as bad as Nissan 112 has. I'm a 34 year old single female that had no experience with car buying and these guys took advantage and pretty much f*cked me. I saw their car on cargurus advertised for $14,500 a used 2017 Nissan Leaf all electric, mind you I know nothing about electric cars, so the salesman Gran Gbalazeh who's real first name is Wonlehkeh told me that the more money i put down that would reduce my monthly payments and get me a better deal, mind you a lot of info was not properly disclosed to me in the process, I didn't have a good feeling throughout the process but he told me that if I didn't go through with the purchase that evening that I would lose the sale since it's the "last day of the sale" xxxxxxxx! So basically he had me go to the finance office with Paul Carpena who had me fill out a bunch of paperwork without even explaining to me what the xxxx I was signing and when I asked him why I was paying $450 a month for 72 months which adds up to total amount financed of $18,704 and almost $40,000 at the end of the 72 months for a car that was only supposed to be $14,500 I was confused, so Paul tells me not to worry about it and that I would pay off the advertised price in 18 months or less, he had me sign the paper work and leave it In his office without even giving me copies of what I signed, no bill of sale or any explanation of what my warranty covers, granted it's an electric car which can be expensive if I'm not covered. So once paper work was signed I didn't have the down payment on hand so they told me that I can just take the vehicle without even leaving a down payment and bring it in the next day, I told them I came with my own car so I told them that once I bring the Down payment I will take the vehicle but they refused to let me leave the dealership without taking the vehicle the same night because they knew that once I drove off with the car that's it's officially mine. After I gave the down payment and drove the car I noticed that some things were off and came to the conclusion that a car that can only charge up to a 100 mile range is not compatible for my commuting needs so I went back to them and asked them to rescind the contract and they refused to work with me, I spoke with sales manager Francois Wall and he was nasty to me and told me that if I win the lottery then I can pay off the 18,704 to trade in the vehicle and when I had my mother on the phone calling him out as well as what the dealership did to me he yelled and said he wasn't having this conversation anymore. That's no way to treat customers especially when you know you jacked a single female who knows very little about the process. I had my family even come up to dealership with me we spoke with another manager by the name of Dallas Evans who claimed that what these guys did to me is "business" and you can't put feelings into it and at the end of the day "these guys gotta eat, gotta feed their families" which basically means f*xx me as a customer. Most traumatic experience I've ever faced in my life, these men stuck a 6 year car loan up my xxx for what I believed I was only supposed to pay $14,500 for with an APR of 19.86%! Talk about taking full fledge advantage of someone, I've tried calling capital one, I've tried calling Nissan head quarters even tried to go to other dealerships to get help and every dealer tells me that I have negative equity on the car and can't really trade it in unless I'm willing to front up an additional $10,000 for a down payment after Nissan. 112 already took a $5000 down payment from me to begin with. Nissan 112 ruined my life and put me I.my financial hole now my only option left is to hire a lawyer since they also refused to supply with copies of all the paperwork I signed. My advice especially to single women, do not go to any dealership alone without someone who is knowledgeable of dealership scams. If you want spectacular service, this is not the place to go. This was a waste of my time and I will NEVER be going back to 112 Nissan. I dropped off my vehicle last night for it to be serviced. I specifically requested that my car be done by 12. I called and no one knew what was going on with my car. So I decided to pop in and long and behold my car is still in the same spot I parked it in last night-UNTOUCHED! I believe the guy who was handling my car, John, went to the back to find out what was going on. At this point, I just wanted my car keys back. He came out to inform me that "the technician had not gotten to it yet." I specifically called on Friday and spoke to Gabby and asked if it was okay to drop off my car and if it would be done at the time I wanted. The answer was sure, but my car was still sitting there at 12:38 p.m. I was thinking of possibly trading in my car and speaking with Mark at 112 Nissan, but if you run your service department like this, I am not confident that your sales department is any better. I will stick to what I know and that is always getting the best service at Massapequa Nissan. I may have to drive out further, but I will get the quality service I deserve. Yesterday I started out at Legend Nissan for a 2017 Rogue SV. The price I received was a joke. Tried to mix trade with price. When I told the salesman I wanted a breakdown I was offered $ 8400 for my 2014 Altima with 29,500 miles in excellent condition. Price of the new 2017 Rogue SV $25,000. After abruptly walking out I went to Massapequa Nissan. i told the salesman what I wanted. He told me I had to take a test drive. I told him I drove the car a few times already and I didn't want to test drive again. He then came back and said the dealership has policy I have to test drive the car. I could not get a price. I then received a text from Legend 13,893.55 OTD with trade. I went to 112 Nissan. Told him what I wanted within 15 minutes Danny and I shook hands $12550 OTD + DMV fees. Worst service ever, don't trust a word they tell you and get everything in writing !!! I had a recall repair for the steering column housing, called ahead and was told to bring it in whenever, but when i showed up i was very rudely asked why i was bringing it in so late and without an appointment! I went so far as to print out the recall and bring it with me but of course i don't know what I'm talking about and they have to check the car out first. Then i overheard the same guy on the phone saying "so we have to pay for it?" Then he dropped his head and shook it in disbelief and passed my keys to his colleague. I had also inquired about a rental before i came in bc i was under the impression you get a free rental or loaner as long as it's a recall repair. The service guy that ended up with my case told me the same thing so i got a rental. When i came in to bring a battery for my car he then told me the rental wasn't free after all!! After appealing a couple of ppl i called to get the manager's name and extension which they didn't seem to want to give out without getting my name. I knew they name on the caller id bc i was in the system. Not 2 min after i hung up the manager called me, guess they did know who i was after all! They then took 9 days for a 2-3 day repair and i ended up paying over $400 for the rental but i needed to get to work! When i dropped it off there was no one to do the billing, it took over well to get charged to the cc and 2 weeks later i still don't have the paperwork. When i went there they said "oh we don't do anything over mail, you have to wait for it" Was i supposed to wait overnight? Today I'm back bc ever since they worked on the steering column my airbag light is flashing and my horn doesn't work. I will write a separate review for today's adventure! I recently bought a used SUV here and I live out of state I meet the car salesman I ended up working with and not only was he not knowledgeable about the car I purchased he was ever so rude to me and my entire family the whole day we where there. sales was a great experience, however he was unable to explain the finance portion - including rebates and aprs. Sales should have a general idea of the rebate, especially when their final "price" is based on rebates. we spent 3-4 hours with sales. Finance guy was rushing and harsh when answering questions. At that point (after an additional hour waiting), we were tired and ready to go. All our tags, etc were off our trade in, etc. Basically, they "upped" the sticker price (realized after the fact) and added on a service warranty without explaining it. Turns out we had to call a different number to use this, which we didnt realize until after shelling out $ for an issue that happened 2 weeks later. DO NOT COME HERE! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! My car was idling too high after replacing the throttle body and wanted them to do a "relearn procedure" on the car. They said that because the part was already installed they couldn't guarantee that the idling problem could be fixed but we would still be charged $240!!!! And they also said that if they do the job themselves and install their own throttle body that it would come out to $800+. THE THROTTLE BODY WAS BRAND NEW, INSTALLED CORRECTLY, and the same one as before!!!!!! The only issue that needed to be fixed was the idling. They didn't fix the issue and still charged $260!!!! This is a ripoff and they stole my money for NOTHING. They did this so we could come back and pay the 800 for the full service even tho the throttle body in the car was already brand new. I was very unhappy last night here. I had seen an ad on FB marketplace for a 2016 Altima that had low mileage and a great price. I inquired about it and someone called but I missed the call. Was called back and made an appointment to come see it, the person I spoke to was not there so I worked with Jason. He sat down punched the VIN number into the computer. All these other cars came up and he was asking what are you looking for. Have owned 7 Nissans over the year and really do not have a problem with the product. Have dealt with 3 different salespeople at this location and they were each OK you do have to know what you want, what you can afford and have a plan or the "closer" will play the numbers game with you-not a big deal. What gets the 1 star, what would keep me from making my next car a Nissan or at least a Nissan from 112 is the service department. From not honoring your appointment time, to not keeping you updated when the service exceeds what they offered as a time line, to totally disrespecting you as a person, to no understanding of the concept of customer service they are the worse. After spending 4 out of the last 5 Fridays waiting to get 2 recall's repaired I can offer the following. You make an appointment for a set time and they take your car in the front door and drive it out the back door where it sits in the lot until they have time-what is the purpose of making an appointment? Don't expect any updates while waiting unless they try to sell you an additional service. When you vehicle is finally done expect to wait even longer while they close out your paperwork. Expect to see them playing on the cellphone, chit-chatting with each other, fighting over who stole whose chair and dropping more "F" bombs then I have heard at any 1 location at 1 time. Update: With regard to the dealer's response, 4.9% for tier 1 credit is not the norm, but it may be Nissan's way of squeezing out more cash. I checked with my bank, and they offered financing at 1.9% for a 2014 vehicle. But again, it's how you make your money, and that's business. As far as the comment, I'm a big boy with a thick skin, so I'm not going to cry over it, but I will point out that it went beyond unprofessional and bordered on insulting. I'm writing this review in the issue of being completely fair. My car, a 2012 Nissan Quest, pretty much 'fell apart' on me.. at 86,000 miles... I need a new CVT Transmission, and A/C work. The estimate on the repair is $6500, which is heartbreaking to me. My husband is an EMT for FDNY and I work in the human services industry. We both work extremely hard, however- we simply cannot afford a $6500 unexpected expense. We purchased a Nissan because of it's reputation of being a dependable auto, with a long life expectancy. We invested more than we normally for a new car, because we thought we were buying piece of mind. Unfortunately, we were wrong. The poor quality of our Nissan, however, isn't the fault of our dealership. Where we purchased the car and have had it serviced. While we hoped that there was something the dealership could have done to help us- unfortunately, it was out of there hands. The service department, Winston in particular, couldn't have been kinder to us. He treated us with respect as we flip flopped and tried to come up with a way for us to be able to finance such a large unexpected loss. He treated us with dignity the whole time, despite the fact that we were unable to afford the repairs, and needed to pull the car out of the shop. Unfortunately, because we still must pay our car note ($600 a month), we will not be able to fix the vehicle, and will need to figure out alternate transportation for the next 3 years while we pay this car off... However, the care and patience of the service team at Nissan 112 prevented what was already a bad situation, from becoming an even worse one. Thank you Winston, and your team. Nissan 112 is one of the worst dealerships on Long Island. Their main concern is sales. When it comes to the customer experience they score a zero. Only one individual takes back returns while 12 other employees stand around and do nothing. My car was damaged in their possession and they are trying to charge me for the repairs. Horrible dealership and end of lease is even worse with a $395 disposition fee for not taking another Nissan. I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves one. People only seem to write reviews when they're mad about something. Anyway, the salespeople sold me a car, and about two weeks later they sold my parents one too. The salesperson we dealt with as a seasoned professional who knew the ins and outs of all the competitor vehicles. I've worked in automotive and know plenty about the specs and everything, and this guy completely killed it. He knew, in detail, how to answer every question I had, and that my parents had. He did it without condescension in his tone, or a lack of patience. All in all he was a complete class act. Furthermore, when it came time to price out the vehicle I wanted, he did everything he could with his finance manager to make sure the paperwork was right, even calling me at home after 9pm one night (apologetically for calling so late) to confirm a few things. He was going through paperwork that late and still trying to make sure everything was right. I was impressed, not annoyed at all. When my parents came in and mentioned I had just purchased a vehicle there, the same salesperson helped them. He treated my parents like they were his best friends. He could have sold them 3 or 4 vehicles they liked him so much. He honored the deal he made with me, with my parents, and we're all quite happy. The DMV paperwork is done quickly, the cars were in perfect shape.... and I swear to G-d if they call again to ask how things are and I have any questions or would like to schedule my first service appointment I'm going to flip out. All kidding aside. This place, and that salesperson in particular, is solid. They care and worked like hell to make sure I found, and my parents found, the right car at the best price. They were hit with numerous "fees" and unfortunately signed for items they really didn't need or want. Their agreed price with the salesman jumped up $3,500.00 plus another $2,250.00 for an unwanted and unnecessary warranty. Realizing their "mistake" they returned the next day for help. This staff was unprofessional and tried to get so much money out of us and sneak in extra costs that they thought we wouldn't notice. When we asked them about it they evaded then became belligerent and beyond petty during our conversation. Actually this was the second car we tried to buy from them. Two days earlier we were set to buy a car and they said they "lost" it. When the deal for this second car went south they revealed that they had sold the first car they reportedly "lost" even though we had put down money to reserve the car. When I stated it was tragic they had lost the car, the manager brushed me off and said only tragic things are deaths in the family. Mike Calvelli was my salesman. I was supposed to get a 2015 Infiniti Q50 and left all my information with him including a $100 "good faith" deposit to "hold" the car. First off, this dealership is horrible at returning phone calls. I called Mike 3x and he didnt return my calls. He then proposed a different way to get the car I wanted and referred me to Mike in finance. Mike asked me for income docs to verify my income and stated that I have an approval and I have the Infiniti that I could call and let Mike know and that I could pick the car up (I was out of town at this point. However this process alone took about a week.) I talked to Paul and John in finance and they too stated I had an approval, but I told them I'd like to send someone there to drive the car. They stated no problem, to send him. Mind you, he doesn't live down the street, he lives 35 min from the dealership. Once he got there, Mike told him the dealership sold the car! Stay away from Nissan 112, these people are unprofessional, crooks, and liars. If they sold the car, that's fine. However, don't tell me it's mine and that I can send someone to do a walk around yet the car had already been sold. Shame on you Nissan 112! Horrible horrible dealership!!! read more

I am an out of state buyer and had a friend of mine come test drive the truck prior to me leaving the deposit. It was everything I wanted. However, the day I had my plane ticket to come finish the purchase I received a call saying the truck needed all kinds of work done to it and said I lived too far away to sell to, but said if I was a state or two away they would sell it. Funny how the story changed every time I asked what the hell was going on. Not to mention my credit has already been ran and I was approved on the truck. We wanted to test drive the electric car, Leaf. At first we were told that we would have to give a $500-$1000 deposit in order for them to get the car to the dealership. Then we were told that they were not going to get the car for us to test drive unless we did all the paperwork to buy the car first. Obviously we are not going to buy a car without test driving it first. Jason told us to go and find one to test drive. I asked him "where?" And he said "I don't know." If Jason doesn't know where we can test drive one, then how are we supposed to know. We educated him on the incentives that the federal government was offering in addition to PSEG. So, the bottom line is they lost a sale because they didn't want to bring the car from NJ to their dealership for us to test drive. Poor business management! read more

Wish I could give zero stars. I recently purchased a brand new vehicle and unfortunately it came with bed bugs. This dealership has horrible customer service, took a week to get a loaner car and we had to drive the bug infested car to them just to have a loaner since I have 3 kids and need a vehicle. We were told they would do a freeze treatment since this is not uncommon and they have a treatment at their dealership. They had my car for 6 days and again they gave us the runaround and we had to pick up the car. It was dirty, not cleaned and I'm pretty sure they didn't do anything about the bed bugs. Then i get the service receipt and it says it was "bombed, deodorized and sanitized ". I can assure you it was not sanitized because it was not even cleaned. There were still dead bugs that we found under the mat. They won't even return my calls. I filed a complaint with Nissan. Horrible customer service. Now I have a car that has been "bombed" with God knows what kind of chemicals and I'm driving my 3 young kids around in it. This was my first brand new vehicle and I'm so disappointed. read more

Let's start off by saying I purchased a 2014 Ford Fusion back in August of 2019... 18 months later the vehicle needs a transmission. priced at $3300.00, that's half of what the car is worth based on The Kelly blue Book value. I called the dealership along with the salesman Jason Boylen several times to see what my options are, he explains to me there is nothing he can do for me unless I put down a larger down payment including a co sign... Buyers Beware!!! Terrible experience buying a car for my daughter! The crookery started from the very beginning! 1. We agreed on a final price that didn't include a dealers fee, this was a lie. 2. Required a 2nd key was told no problem, never got it. 3. Agreed on $500.00 for trade in of old car and pick-up, only got $100.00 and no pick-up! 4. Agreed to fix damaged windshield, never happened! 5. Spoke to multiple reps and Managers. The last Manager I spoke to Nick G. had a bad attitude and told me he could not help me. Note to buyers if you decide to buy from Nissan 112 after all the negative reviews posted here and on their site, just make sure you get everything IN WRITING from the beginning! This is a Shell Game operation they move you from person to person, tell you what you want to hear, get your money, then DROP YOU!!! But I refuse to let this go. I want the potential customers, owner and Nissan Corporation to know what type of business is being conducted here! I will continue to pursue this until their business practices are amended!!! Let me start off by saying I bought a new car. Not really being what I thought it would be, okay, that's fine. It drives that's what matters most. Fast forward months later, I hit a branch, and somehow the gas tank is completely ruptured. I take it in for service, and they say it should be fixed in a couple of days, which I keep calling the service department, and now it's next week it will be finished. Every time I call its another week. I get my insurance company involved, they lie to my insurance company about when the car will be fixed. The insurance company says I have to bring back my rental car, because Nissan 112 said my car should be fixed in two weeks. The cars still not fixed. Luckily I get an extension on my rental car. Nissan 112 now says the part for my car is delayed two more weeks. Which means it took 1 MONTH, for a part to get to them. THEY HAD MY CAR 1 whole month. And the only way they moved their asses is because I emailed Nissan USA Consumer Affairs. This dealership is completely unprofessional. Never taking my car here again. read more

The worst customer service experience trying to lease a car.They told us the car was in stock and to come in. Once we arrived, we were told it would be a few minutes to get it from the lot. We sat at the salesman desk, and every few minutes a manager can over and said some sort of excuse that it would only be a few more minutes - though there was snow it sounded disingenuous- this went on for 45 minutes - we ended up walking out - with the manager chasing us in the parking lot swearing the car was being brought around and not to leave. If there was a delay in getting the car from the lot, the logical way to handle it would be just to tell us it will be a while and they'd call us, to come back. Awful!! We wasted an hour of our lives we'll never get back again. Horrible customer service!!!! read more

Horrible dealership!!!! Will never go back again. Salesman are pushy and eager to rush you out of there with a car the same day, then you get to the finance department and you are bullied into signing papers. I heard all good things about Nissan in Smithtown never been there but maybe if I decide to go with another Nissan I'll go there. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!!!! read more

This was the worst service I've ever experienced anywhere. Run, do not walk away, from this dealer and service center. I brought my car in for a manufacturer paint defect to have the roof repainted since there was a huge rust spot on a 5 year old car due to poor craftsmanship. This Nissan held my car for a month and was impossible to get an answer from. I called every two days for an update after a week, since that's how long I was quoted it would take. They wouldn't give a clear time estimate or even call me back half the time. A month later my car is ready for pickup and the battery is dead. They all knew it was dead as they had to jump it to move it to that spot, but nobody called to tell me it was dead; nobody told me when they gave me my keys and I paid for the service that it was dead. They waited until I went out to start my car to leave and found out it was dead myself. Worst service ever! If I couldn't get it to start with their jumper box I would have had the car towed anywhere but there to buy a new battery. Dan and Moe were the two people helping me, and they were the most unprofessional people. Never called back, never gave updates on the car when I called, and were rude and thought it was funny the whole time. Go to any car dealer but this one for buying a car or for any car service. read more
