GUELPH NISSAN SERVICE WILL RUIN YOUR VEHICLE. I thought the nissan service is the best responsible place to bring my vehicle even though their services are expensive than the other places. I did my regular service and few other services for my nissan rogue from guelph nissan and after couple of days I noticed a continuous and considerable oil leak underneath my engine. Then I checked as I could and i saw the oil filter was completely loose and rotating. THE TECHNICIAN DIDN'T TIGHTEN THE OIL FILTER AT ALL. If I didn't check it I might have to my replace my whole engine by running without engine oil. I don't know whether it is already damaged. I will not bring my vehicle there again. BRING YOUR VEHICLE THERE ONLY IF YOU NEED TO DAMAGE AFTER PAYING MORE MONEY. read more

Might as well make it an even dozen. They spent "maybe" 10 minutes total on my car and charged for it. I was there twice for three hours for a 10 minute scan and the second time was about a 3 minute test. When it is a safety issue it really is unbelievable to charge customers diagnosis. Never had this with any other car company I owned vehicles with. Honda did the work if it needed it or not when it came to safety issues. Not these guys. You pay if your car is hooked up to the scanner for minutes. Nissan Canada is no help either you just pay and tough luck Charlie you are on your own. I never thought Nissan was like this with safety issues but I learned. I basically wasted 3 hours of my life for 10 minutes of their time and got a 160 dollar car wash.Thanks guys you got my money this time and I can see why your reviews are all shit on here. No wonder. I brought my nissan in for a recall inspection they never complained about the the dirt in my vehicle.Then I brought it in to get the recall part to be put on and they refused to do it because it was to dirty.What I was always taught do what it takes to get a job done.I said well clean what you need to I will pay for that.They said no.So I took time out of my life for there mistake and they refuse to fix a problem they caused.Very disappointed I always loved nissan been driving nissan along time.But I will now never buy another nissan product.Not like I can refuse payments.Maybe I like my car dirty looks like I won't get my recall done. read more

A tale of two dealerships, really. Service is awesome. Sales is terrible. NEW VEHICLE SALES: I have purchased two vehicles from Guelph Nissan over the past 7 years. The first time, it was an okay experience -- not great, but okay. The more recent time, an outright disappointing experience. Lots of time wasted (including me walking out at one point, fed up to the point of being done). Even when they called me back in and wanted to "really" deal, it was a lackluster experience. Lack of returned phone calls. Lack of updates on the arrival of my new vehicle. No follow through on the promises made by the sales person, until I argued the points with the finance manager. And when I picked up the vehicle, and remember, it was my second purchase within a handful of years (of a top trim level SUV, no less), a complete lack of interest or enthusiasm from anyone. Really just everything people hate about buying cars, all in one go. To make matters worse, my wife and I went in a year later (March 2017), looking for her next lease. The sales team was clearly NOT busy that Saturday afternoon, but getting anyone to help us was a trial. And the guy who eventually did was so uninterested in making a sale -- to the tune of not even trying to talk lease rates or prices -- that we walked away shaking our heads, mystified. I knew more about the vehicle than he did. Knew more about the current promotions. It was odd how much he didn't care, when we were looking to make a decision that day, and had made it clear. We went down the road to a competing company, and ended up leasing her new vehicle that day -- because they actually engaged, wanted to make the sale, and treated us like customers, rather than an inconvenience. A follow up to Guelph Nissan resulted in no return communication. Basically, this experience told me what I already suspected from my previous purchase -- that I will not purchase my next Nissan from Guelph. With so many other dealerships just a 20 to 30 minute drive away, I have lots of other choices. Gp to Kitchener, Waterloo, wherever, just go somewhere else. SERVICE & PARTS: Surprisingly, I have absolutely no complaints on the service side. In over 8 years, despite any turnover in personnel, the team at the service desk, parts desk (and doing the work in the back) are consistently friendly and competent. Promises made are kept in terms of price, timing, and delivery. Scheduling is easy via the website or phone calls. Additional information is supplied in a friendly and helpful way, and even the experience of waiting for service is positive. So there's clearly a problem on the sales side... read more

My wife and I recently purchased a used Altima. The sales manager Mike was extremely courteous and helpful, even waiting after hours to allow me to drop off our winter tires which he had installed for us. The finance manager Kim was also professional and very helpful. We were looked after quickly and professionally. After taking possession of our new to us car we found a item missed on cleaning and detailing. No big deal , we sent a picture for humour. They responded immediately and were truly upset and sorry. Both Mike and Kim offered us a free detailing and some Nissan Bling for our inconvenience. As someone who deals in customer service everyday, I can say this team gets it right. it is definitely buyer beware with Guelph Nissan. Our salesguy Ben A. outright lied to us about a feature our vehicle was supposed to have. he assured me it was there and it was priced to reflect that is was there so I did not physically check. turns out it wasn't there. When I realized the feature was not in fact there he proceeded to show me an ad that I had never seen before and not the one we had been looking at that did not call up this feature. Apparently it is up to the buyer to verify each & every feature and not to take the word of the sales guys at Guelph Nissan So be very careful that what you are paying for is actually there and not just listed in an add. They post numerous adds listing different things that may or may not be on the vehicle. will never shop there again and will try to talk everyone out of shopping there. read more

Have gone to many dealerships in the last few weeks to test drive cars. Had some very good experiences until going to Infinity Nissan. As my purchase was to be through a fleet arrangement their fleet manager told us we couldn't test drive on a Saturday as "it would be unfair to one of our sales reps if they had to drive with us and miss a possible sale". Wow - their sales commission structure leads them to turning customers away. Enough said. read more

Never again. Bought my truck from these guys a few years back. What a joke this place is. Long story short I had several problems with the truck within days of picking it up. They sold me the extended warranty and said "anything and everything would be covered for two years" lol not so much. Front brakes went within a week, AC didn't work. Had it in for service probably 5 times the first month. Which the said I had to pay for. They took three attempts to fix the brakes. And when I finally fixed them myself, I found they had shimmed my brake pads with a piece of cardboard from a cigarette pack to stop the squealing. and only when I started asking if their mechanics are even licensed and maybe the MTO would be interested in hearing my story did they offer to do repairs under warranty. I have been a customer at Guelph Infiniti Nissan for years. The sales reps are skeezy, especially Raj. I was uncomfortable the whole time I was dealing with him and couldn't wait for the transaction to be over. he would be a serious deterrent for me ever buying another car here. that being said, the service department USED to be good. when I first bought my car, the two guys that worked the desk at the service department were awesome. they would make sure my car was fixed properly and quickly and that I had a ride with their shuttle to get where I needed to go. However, in recent years, their service has gone WAY down hill. there is a huge amount of turnover at the desk and chances are that whoever you deal with won't be there next time you come in. not only that, but I frequently have to make numerous phone calls when trying to book an appointment because they don't pick up the phone. Plus I no longer trust that my car has been fixed correctly. I used to leave Nissan with full confidence that my car would be in perfect working order. But now, it is always suspect and I sometimes have to go back and get bossy and occasionally rude to get the work done properly. The last time I was there for service, I had made arrangements for them to pick me up when I was done work to go back and pick up my car. They didn't call me all day, so I assumed the work was done and the plan was still in place. the end of the work day came and they didn't come get me. I called them to see what was going on and was told that they couldn't transfer any calls to the service department, but they would call me back, I waited 20 minutes, but no one called me. I called them again, but got no answer. Finally I got so frustrated that I took a $40 cab ride to get to Nissan and pick up my car. When I got there, I was told that they hadn't even fixed my car! It took a lot of restraint to not say the things that were on my mind to the people behind the service desk. the next day I took my still broken car to True Centre Muffler and got it fixed in under two hours for far less than it would have cost me at Nissan. So good job Nissan. Good job on keeping your customers informed and happy. Good job on your highly professional business practices. And good job on hiring honest and friendly sales people. You are a shining example of why people love car salesmen and trust that mechanics aren't ripping them off. read more

Horrible customer service experience. Staff were unresponsive to multiple phone calls. I spent hours waiting for simple transactions to be concluded and they made an error on my registration that wasn't remedied in a timely fashion. Avoid this dealership at all costs. read more

Poor service and lack of interest in big warranty covered work they rather change tires then even diagnose a vehicle so that the owner can get a loaner vehicle. My mother's juke got towed to their lot and has since sat there for 1.5 days and they can't do anything to help so we are left paying to towing it to Cambridge from Guelph to where they are glad to help us. Never bother with this place go to Cambridge Nissan way better people to deal with. read more

Wow. Looks like I'm not alone"surprising' I am a 20 yr licensed automotive, heavy truck and emergency vehicle technician. I purchased a new 2013 PRO4X Titan. Also purchased extended warranty. Currently at 105,00 Kms. On my 4th rear differential and now it needs replaced again. The service department is horrible. Always a battle to get anything done right. Nissan Canada is not much better. My current rear diff was replaced May 9, 2016. Im 14 days and 5000kms past the 20,000 km/12 month warranty. They won't admit that the product is defective. I'm in a battle to have Nissan cover replacement cost. All 4 rear differential have experienced the exact same symptoms. The service manager wants to open the rear diff and take pictures for extended warranty company. He wants to charge me for the labour and new oil to do this. A $300-$350 touch. I told him to put the contaminated oil back in. What's the point in wasting $150 of synthetic gear oil. What a pain!!! read more

A year ago I lease transferred QX60 from this dealership and I had horrible experience with them. The process took over a month and only justification these guys would have is "well it is not us it is Infiniti Canada because they want to make sure you are as good as previous owner to reassign a lease". As if I am mentally challenged and I don't know how credit checks work and how long does it take. They just didn't want to tell me that sales people are not making commission so they are not motivated to push this. It took over 2 weeks just for lease transfer credit application to leave dealership and be sent to Infiniti Canada. I did a mistake didn't cancel this deal in the middle of the process but what is done cannot be reverted. Now fast forward 1 year, a friend of mine really likes my car and asked me to lease transfer this vehicle to him so the reminder of the lease about 11 months he will carry it. I explained him that these guys at dealership are complete morons and they will simply drag this forever until you change your mind. He didn't believe. Probably he never met such people in his life. We started the process, again filling credit application, copy of driver license etc. And guess what? Same experience. Already 4 days calling dealership to see if they submitted credit application. They are like "oh finance manager xxx is on leave this week, noone else can do it" then they "found" someone who can do it and he is like "ok let me see what needs to be done and I will call you back" I wait a day doesn't call me back Call this lowlife back and he is like "let me speak to lease transfer manager yyy and I will call you back" again doesn't call me back Then I call him next day he is "let me start the application I will call you back" And of course never calls me back. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. NEVER GUYS NEVER DEAL WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. I pay 1040$ a month for a car and they cannot even timely execute a lease transfer. I had Lexus before same level luxury brand and Lexus in Brampton completed lease transfer in 3 days. Had BMW same thing 3 days, my friend had Infinti from different dealership needed to lease transfer it took few days. I will keep updating this post so you guys know exactly how long it took for them to finalize lease transfer. We initiated the process and sent Guelph Infiniti all the documentation they need on 22 May 2017. Horribly deceptive business practices. After being a customer for 25 years and always paying cash, allowed Raj to talk me into leasing. He promised I could flip my lease into a new car every 2 years...However, when I tried to do that, the flip cost me $10,000 dollars, and then the dealership lied on the lease agreement...saying the "new" car I leased had only 5 Km. on it...when in fact the odometer read 500 Km. Raj was quick to turn off the vehicle was he was reviewing it with me when he realized that I had noticed the numbers....Not a new car, and a nasty way to try and get additional cash out of me for annual mileage penalties.
