Premiere No 1 Limousine Service - Our over-packed luggage that Tom, our Premier 1 Limousine driver, took to the car

    Premiere No 1 Limousine Service

Premier 1 Limo Service is our go-to car service when we take international flights…read more Trip to Washington Dulles International Airport: Tom, our driver, was excellent and personable. He also accommodated our overpacked luggage. Trip from Washington Dulles International Airport: Ruby was our pleasant, personable, and outstanding driver. My husband and I were starving after our long flights from Rotterdam to Dublin and then to Dulles International. Ruby kindly took us to Gettysburg Royal Farms to try their world-famous chicken before returning to Harrisburg. We also appreciated the cold water for our ride to and from the airport.

Unfortunately, our experience with Premier Limousine was disappointing…read more I originally contacted them about transportation for a group cruise and initially estimated 12 passengers. Before making the reservation, I specifically updated them that our group had grown to 18 people and asked for additional information regarding their 23-passenger minibus. Based on the information provided, we discussed the price with our entire group, everyone agreed, and we moved forward with the online booking and paid a deposit. After the reservation was made, we were contacted and advised that although the minibus seats 23 passengers, it has very limited luggage storage and no underbelly storage. We were told that with 18 passengers, we should limit everyone to one suitcase each and that additional luggage could create a problem. We later asked specifically about carry-on bags, backpacks, garment bags, etc. and were then told that carry-on-sized suitcases would not fit in the overhead storage and that suitcases could not be kept in the passenger compartment due to safety regulations. At that point, the alternative presented to us was upgrading to a small motorcoach, which increased our round-trip cost from $2,433.60 to $3,384. My issue is not that there are luggage limitations on a minibus. I completely understand that different vehicles have different storage capacities and that safety requirements need to be followed. My disappointment is that this information was not communicated before we booked. We had already specifically disclosed that we had 18 passengers traveling to a cruise and had asked about the minibus before making the reservation. Luggage is obviously a significant consideration for 18 people traveling on a cruise, and knowing these limitations beforehand would have absolutely affected our decision. To their credit, they did bring the issue to our attention before the trip and confirmed that they would provide a full refund of our deposit if we chose to cancel. After discussing it with our group, that is ultimately what we decided to do because we did not want to risk luggage not fitting on the morning of our cruise. I appreciate that they notified us well in advance and agreed to refund our deposit, but the entire situation could have been avoided with more thorough communication before the booking was made. When someone specifically provides a passenger count and asks questions about a vehicle before committing to a reservation, important limitations like luggage capacity should be clearly explained at that time. Unfortunately, the experience left us disappointed and looking elsewhere for our transportation.

Weimers Rv Sales and Rentals - Brown stains in my sink from the water

We stayed here 6 months and it's ok. The water here would come out brown a lot of the time and it…read moreput a stain in my camper sinks. The owners are nice but they seem to focus more on the gambling than the rv park. Our Spicket froze and they had told us workers were not present and we can get a heat gun and thaw it instead of them. Was not happy with that answer since it was not us that froze and it was their property. There's a dog that gets away from his owners often (I think he's a basset hound mix) and he came off as aggressive as he barked at me and backed me into my fencing. There's also people who leave their dogs outside ALLLLLL day on a lead line and they bark and bark and bark literally all day. Cops presence here is often in the same row. The campers in this row are very run down and an eye sore to look at. Not sure if these would even be able to run down the road legally. We also saw police here 4 times. The charge for electric is 0.17 a kilowatt so it's pricey. Several times the people leaving the red building where poker is held would do burn outs and rev vehicles and be loud and this was later (1 am) and it woke us up 2-3 times. I truly feel like the owners are nice people but they are mismanaging the property. The lack of care from them showed. The upside is the spots are semi big but we moved down the road to a cheaper and quieter park that is now open year round. You can hear a lot of Jake breaking from the highway but it's not horrible. Best places will be the line that backs up to the highway as that's a little nicer area. I did have dogs and did not pick up all my dogs waste so that's on me but I told them before we left.

This park is nothing much to look at but it's affordable, quiet, and convenient. They offer storage…read moreand repair as well as RV spaces with full hookups. They have long term tenants with a less than Disney world park vibe you might get at an 'RV resort.' This is not that and frankly, it's outside of Altoona, PA let's be real with our expectations. The five stars is for the hard working shop staff, the lovely Louise and the fact that this park did everything we were needing and looking for. The water quality (chlorinated) and pressure with a water pressure regulator was satisfactory. After multiple trips of back and forth with the 44' rig due to other weekend excursions; we were able to pull in and out with ease during our 1-month long stay. We paid a $100 deposit for the electric and $550 for the month. The site was a mix of gravel and grass. It wasn't the Ritz, we didn't expect the Ritz and it served us well. They have someone that mows the lawn a few times a week. We took advantage of the freshly mowed open space to play ball and frisbee with the dog. People are friendly if spoken to, a neighborly wave if you are so inclined, but otherwise keep to themselves. When we arrived, the fifth wheel wasn't leveling well so the staff kindly helped us move to another site. I had the guys at the shop replace a two slide out motors and reattach fascia that had become loose. $100/ hour minimum service fee is standard here even if the guys crank it out more quickly. We used the laundry facility and the equipment worked fine at cleaning and drying the clothes (2 large loads at less than $10 to do). We received a few packages from Amazon - they have space for mail with your lot number on it - no issues. The office appeared to be open 9-4 Monday-Saturday. There seems to be quite the crowd for the gambling/ bar business they have going on... which is not our thing so we didn't go over there to investigate. That part of the business also seems contained to just that big red building.

I mistakenly stated that our vehicle met those requirements because we had pulled a boat in the past. When I attempted to clarify this instead of being helpful and try and explain it further the sales person said why did you say you had it when you did not? Called me a liar. Let me tell you, I would drive to DC before I rented anything from this place. I cannot even imagine how a customer would be treated if there was an issue with their products if this is how they treat you during a simple rental inquiry.

Recently rented a 32' RV for a 600 mile round trip to the Catskills…read more We are first timers and weren't too sure what to expect. The employees were very friendly and accommodating. The rv was a slightly older model (our choice as it was less expensive). Regardless, it ran flawlessly up and back. I had questions and my calls to "Bob" were answered quickly and he did a good job making us feel relaxed and worry free. Now for the cons. Although few, here they are. 1) and most important, cleanliness. Exterior very clean, interior, not so much. Rug appeared to have never been shampooed, floors were not mopped. Although everything was wiped down, inside the storage cabinets were filthy, and this is where we are supposed to store our food? 2) the unit we rented boasted 3 cable ready tv's. Well, arrived at the campsite, started to rain so we figured, good time to try the televisions. None worked. I had the campsite employees check the signal coming in to the RV and it proved to be working perfectly. I even swapped out the provided cable wire with my own much better quality cable wire. After repeated calls to Bob and even with his prompt responses, the final answer was "it's never happened before". Although very apologetic, there was nothing he could do. It really wasn't the end of the world for us but beware families with teenagers as it will be a miserable trip for all. Next time we'll check before we leave. 3) this one isn't a con but mostly just bringing it up. To the owners of Freedom Rentals, why wouldn't you post your contract on the website? After providing you the required down payment wasn't the time to find out there was a substantial contract we had to sign. After thoroughly reading your contract, it's clear you must of been burned several times, but, we signed knowing that we would lose some of our deposit had we not. A tad odd? And finally, Upon returning the RV, on time I might add and much cleaner as well, (did I mention if we were late it would be a $25 charge?). Did I mention a similar charge if we were LATE to pick up the RV? Really? Maybe it's me, but no one asked us how the trip went, how the RV ran, if everything worked okay, nothing. Three days later we got our deposit back but still no phone calls, explanation about the televisions, nothing. Not even a survey. Being this is the first review on yelp, it's unlikely they will read this ....but maybe. Would we rent again., sure, now that we know all the rules. Will try the group in Harrisburg next just so we can compare. Very friendly group, Bob was the best, just a little strange business practices. I give three stars for cleanliness and lack of cable television. If it turns out I was wrong about the TVs, i'll edit it out. Hope this helps.
