I came to this location as I usually do, except this time the line was out the door. I had just made it to the final entrance, and so i politely asked the guy scanning ID's how long it was gonna take. He said sarcastically "about 10 minutes and 40 seconds", not sure how but i was convinced. I said really 10 minutes? I was happy to hear. The older man and the one he was next to started hysterically laughing and said "no!". That's when the door shut in my face (as i just made it inside.) Again i've been here a lot, I have an account here too. But today, that nonsense just made them lose a customer. Poor customer service. The security and the female budtender with red/pink hair is rude.

They are very cheap, I went there every week for a year and they don't ever provide good discounts and when they do every good brand is excluded, I drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to MONTEVERD in Red Bank, they provide 25% off your whole order when you spend 100 after tax and 30% off your whole order when you spend 150$ after tax, I get the same exact strains and brands I would get from NJ leaf but I save at least 70$ to 140$ everytime I go to monteverde compared to nj leaf, pretty much every other dispensary in the area provides much better prices and daily deals, I recommend MONTEVERDE, ZEN LEAF, SOCIAL LEAF, SCARLET RESERVE ROOM AND EARTH & IVY way over NJ leaf anyway, if you go to any of those other places I will guarantee you will save alot of money for the same stuff read more

Similar experience to Lynn C. I live nearby and was curious to finally check out NJ Leaf as it opened for recreational use. I will not be coming back again. The prices for flower are ridiculous and the staff are all extremely unfriendly. I told an employee it was my first time visiting and wasnt sure what I wanted and he just stared at me. No recommendations or explanation of ongoing sales or promos. Next time I will wait for my regular guy to come back in town. read more

The most high end dispensary in the state. The employees are all so solid and knowledgeable that they disgrace the other dispensaries by far. It looks like a high tech company store, so modern and clean. The educational knowledge of the employees with pharmaceutical backgrounds astounds us. It's so beautiful and captivating and calm. I felt like I was at canyon ranch. I never wanted to leave. But, the manager was not even close to the rest of the enterprise. They stuck out like a sore thumb. Please replace them. The negative reviews on here are laughable. Go on any reputable dispensary review site and NJ leaf has 4.9 with more reviews from actual costumers. The budtenders are all helpful and friendly with knowledge about their product. They have a huge selection are generally cheaper than most other dispensaries i've been to in NJ with better quality product. anybody knows taking Yelp seriously in 2024 is a mistake. p-lease look up more reputable review websties and not shills trying to get people to go to their own dispensary read more

I have gone to this place a few times. Everyone was always very knowledgeable and helpful. Until yesterday. I got Charles to help me. He was neither helpful or friendly. I asked for a certain gummy. He corrected me on the name and said we are out of gummies . I asked u are out of all gummies? No Then he bought up the page on his iPad and flipped it over to me. When I asked about which one was comparable, he said "ugh. It's impossible to try them all" what?? Usually the staff knows their stuff. I asked about a certain flower. We don't have that. Again I asked what was comparable. He said I could go to the lobby and scroll thru. The place was not busy for once. I just picked one paid my $91 cash and left. I gave him a tip and don't know why. But not happy with this guy at all. I didn't appreciate his attitude and the way he spoke to me. I would rather drive to Neptune and go to Zen leaf. They're always wonderful there.
