David is awesome! He's come out in a pinch and repaired my roof in the rain a few years back so when I decided I was going to make a free little library - I reached out to see if he had any shingles to spare. Once he found out what I was doing, he was like, "come on by - it's for the community!!" So now, my free little library has a professional roof on it & he even made sure that we used black shingles to make the green pop. I usually have anxiety attacks whenever I have contractors do any kind of work for me. This was one was an exception as I did not experience one! David was very clear about what the process would entail and it looked even better than I had imagined when it was completed. As a low income senior I was concerned that the amount of work proposed would be beyond my means. But it was definitely more affordable than any of the other bids that came in and the work was top notch. I would not hesitate to recommend NJ roofing to anyone needing a new roof. Wow!!! I can not say enough great things about David and his crew. They are fast, efficient, kind, and he is excellent at communicating. They did a new roof on both our house and detached garage, fixed a covered walkway and did all new gutters. David is extremely knowledgeable and he and his guys are thorough. I highly recommend. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! It was dumping rain and my bathroom ceiling had a severe leak. I climbed into the attic and discovered the cause being a vent duct I had installed poorly after several attempts of DIY patching the leak continued. I finally gave up and called NJ roofing. Although the call was rather late Dave answered and said he would be here first thing in the morning. He showed up on time, evaluated the leak and explained to me what the problem was. In no time he jumps up and fixes the vent on the roof. It took him longer to explain what was going on that it did to fix the leak. The service took about 20mins total. Rain continues to pour outside and my bathroom no longer leaks. Thank you Dave from NJ Roofing. read more

I referred this company to my friend after they appeared to do a good job on a house in my neighborhood. There appeared to be a potential problem with the flashing but he said the gutters that were part of the deal that were to be put up would cover that and take care of it. After many talks with him on the phone because he was not listening to my friend who actually owns the house, he sent one of his crew back to throw some more flashing up and then still try to rely on the Gutters to fix the problem. He clearly did not understand or could see the potential for leaking during this beautiful hot summer that we had but now that it is raining as it always does in the northwest water is pouring down behind the gutter right down in front of the door and potentially damaging the soffit and the basement because now the water is not being directed down the downspouts and away from the finished basement. The overall Roofing seems to be OK except for plastic vents where metal ones are required but the little details that could've been fixed had he cared has only caused this homeowner much grief sadness and regret even hiring him. read more

Best roofing contractor I have ever used and will always use in the future for personal or our business ventures. David and his crew started off with one of our rental properties in Tacoma, they did a fantastic job. NJ Roofing has fair pricing, for the quality of materials, expertise and craftsmanship, they should definitely charge more. The saying, you get what you pay for, not so true! Our company had another bid from a contractor that installed a brand new roof on our new construction project, they were one of the higher bids and the roof looks and craftsmanship is terrible. David and his crew replaced a roof next door on one of our existing buildings and the material quality is superior, the installation is flawless in my opinion and you can see where his expertise and knowledge is a factor. Everything has flashing over all exposed wood cuts, the water drains to the proper areas, valleys and off the roof. David is a communicator which is invaluable. I knew every step of the way his thoughts, plans, schedule, etc. When he came out to inspect the roof, he walked the entire 10,000 sq ft with me and pointed out and explained what and why he was doing but always gave me the choice. This project took 5 days to remove and replace. They cleaned up daily, covered all exposed portions of the decking and I could go on and on. i needed a decent size repair on my roof due to some large tree branch's falling on it this winter. i had heard about David, and NJ roofing through a family friend that had her roof replaced by them. I quickly found them on google after a quick search made easy thanks to them being google verified. David was very respectful, and well informed, he got out to my house within the week, inspected the damages on my roof, then wrote up an estimate and went over it with me thoroughly.
