Because I seemingly walked and talked fine and could keep my balance it was determined I could return to work the next day. I went in here w complaints of shoulder and neck pain and pain at the site where I hit the cabinet corner. The next day my back was hurting. No checking of the pupils or eyes overall. No memory test or cognitive assessment. I wasn't assessed for a possible concussion is what I'm saying but I should have been. A head injury isn't just something you say 'hey you're walking and talking fine so you're as okay as I can see. You would need a catscan to determine more. ' Then send me for a catscan. Be more concerned. I stated in my visit I was tired and not getting enough sleep. And that I thought I was experiencing allergies bc I had a cough but she said I needed a medical type mouthwash bc she saw yeast in my tongue and that indicated a viral infection. What about the cough? Never addressed. And she said I had fluid in my ears. Why did I only walk out w a mouthwash prescription? I felt my visit focused more on the cold than the head injury and even if I downplayed it in some way for her to feel I shouldn't be assessed, there still should've been more assessment given. Everyone is friendly here hence the name perhaps. But I'm more focused on the second word in this and that's urgent and there was no urgency in thoroughly examining me to determine my true status. With neck shoulder pain could be indicative of some type of nerve damage or sciatica or whiplash or CONCUSSION. Don't take me in for a visit to collect my insurance money and not give me thorough proper care. Needless to say, I was so put off by this that I have an appt w my primary care so I can get the care I needed two days ago. Now I'm in pain and I called the office today and was told an office manager would get back to me. No call yet. And I'm still waiting for the viral panel that was done on Monday. The NP/PA talked so fast that if I was elderly I would NOT have been able to keep up bc at 40+ I had to try to keep up. She talked so fast it, I just started tuning her out bc she already wasn't attending to my head in the way I thought she should be and instead babbling about the mouthwash and yeast. I'll see tomorrow if my primary care sees the same thing. Another thing that bothered me is the "doctor's "note (signed with first name onky like a famous celebrity lol) was quite a contradictory note I also feel if she sent me home to rest, she should've give the next day to rest and if I felt like going in at least I was covered w my doctor's note. I took off anyway bc I was in pain. The ladies are very nice at the front desk and the young lady that took my BP and viral panel. She did a good job so I just want to commend her. The office space is nice and modern and clean although I heard Bad Bunny my whole visit pumping through the walls of the exam room. Maybe it was the pizzeria next door? Idk. I know it kind of took away from the experience and ambiance of the place. I guess I'm just upset bc I'm in pain and I was in pain and I felt this was a waste of time and money. Lesson learned. Just go to the doctor or hospital and skip these urgent care places bc you wind up having to go to your dr anyway. I will never return here again. UPDATE: went to primary care dr. No viral infection and was screened properly for a concussion. I was told by the dr I COULD take aleve for my muscles whereas when I was at the urgent care I was told to only take Tylenol. Both my dr and school nurse disputed this.

She listened and was very patient. I wish their initial payment was cheaper. I gave it 3 stars because I was the ONLY patient at 6pm and the 3 nurses where talking and doing nothing. I had to ask them what was the reason of me having to wait they said they thought I was not ready! Lol. The results had to be my doctor's office by August 25th. I get a call from my doctor's. I was stating they need the clearance and the report on my x-ray of my chest. That was on August 26th. My doctor's office called them twice. They never returned the call so I had to call them twice that day. The next day the 27th. I called four times stated I need the clearance paper signed by an MD or a Do not a doctor's assistance. I had to go there in person requesting the results of my physical and for the clearance paper to be signed by an MD or Do. The papers are given to me but signed by the doctor's assistance. And for the reason that I needed an MD or Do sign on the clearance paper is for insurance reasons. So I had to call Care station again requesting that I needed this clearance paper signed by a doctor. So now I may not have my surgery on September 1st. So I will stay away from this place. It's not worth the headache. Very incompetent people.

We were checked in with high technology and seen almost immediately by the nurse, and about 5 minutes later by an amazing Doctor with a great bedside manner and personality. He gave my son meds right there to bring his fever down, and out the door we went. Had prescription filled at the Rite Aid across the street (because it was snowing and we couldn't get back through traffic to our own CVS) and got right home. I will be going there today for myself. I only wished they were open at 1am when I started this excruciating ear pain. Definitely do not hesitate when needing medical walk in facilities. Staff was great - from check in to check out!! A+ I'll update later after I go for myself. I went for my ear on Sunday. The wait was a bit longer because it was an hour and a half after they opened and it was busier. Still not a big deal. Saw another amazing Doctor. Dr. Jefferson was so personable, friendly, and she was down to earth. Made me feel important. I did have a double ear infection. She wrote me an RX, and again I had them send it across to Rite Aid (which is actually a Walgreens inside). Dr. Jefferson will not disappoint!!! Loved her. She even gave me some natural remedies to help with the ear pain. (Plus the antibiotic) Treatment didn't work, saw an ENT who prescribed a DECONGESTANT (since I can't hear) I am now scheduled for surgery for ear tubes. No improvement since my visit here, and no response to meds.

The nurse comes in and takes my temperature (she didn't leave the thermometer but for a few seconds) and says I don't have a fever. I looked at her and replied that is not true because I just took my temperature before I left. She replies that sometimes they go down. She walks out and says the doctor is coming in soon. The doctor comes in and asks me some questions. He orders a flu and Covid test which come back negative. He comes in and says it's an upper respiratory infection and gives me some over the counter cough medicine. No antibiotics or anything. I leave the office and go back home. I take my temperature again and it was higher (100.8). I had a sinus infection and needed antibiotics and this place said I was basically had a cold.
