I went for a strep test last Monday and still have not gotten my results back. (It has been a week!) I keep calling and no one knows what is going on. They blamed the lab and I got in touch with lab and they don't have my test. The receptionist was the one who took my strep test because doctor was busy. So unprofessional!!! I initially went to the new City MD in Bernardsville. Unfortunately I needed an X-ray and even though City MD advertised having X-rays online, they had no one to do it so I left and went to Somerset Valley Urgent care instead. Thank got I did! I was pleasantly surprised how nice the receptionist was! The X-ray Tec was also very sweet and I was able to quickly get an X-ray. The doctor was knowledgeable and nice too and I got instruction and a boot for my broken foot. I was out of there unbelievably quickly and they even took my insurance! I'm so happy I didn't have to waste my entire day at the hospital! I will definitely go back if I ever need to. read more

I go here more than I do to my regular practice. They have everything pretty much Under One Roof. They can do lab work, x-rays, and EKGs, and the staff is top-notch. Every doctor there is excellent and so is the supporting staff. My favorite happens to be Doctor Verano, but you are in good hands no matter who you see. I can't say enough good things about this place. I've only done a walk-in once which was today because I was in severe pain. It was about 10 minutes of and they brought me right in. It's better to call. ahead and make an appointment because it can get busy. If you make this your go-to place in a pinch you will not be disappointed. read more

If you are looking for a place that is Extremely organized, professional, knowledgeable, efficient , and has an "A-Team" at all times -- then this is the Urgent Care you want on speed dial for your emergency visits. In 2023 we still deal with this type of situation but we do. If you're black or brown person or a person of a certain religious background the doctors here are not for us , they want to deal with people that look like them because that's what they're use to dealing with. DON'T GO HERE !!!!!!! As you know it's been talked about recently about racism in the medical profession it is a fact. The doctors here don't want to listen to what's going on with you, they just want you out quickly. I will not be going back there anymore only because my health is just important as theirs. I came here recently for some medical problems I was having. I picked this place because it got such nice reviews. Inside it is very nice, very modern, and very clean. The receptionist was pretty nice as well. My issue is with the service I received. I had an infection in my groin area, and I wanted to get some antibiotics for the infection. First they had me fill up a cup, but never gave it to me.... I had to go out and ask for one. Waiting to see the doctor was about 45 Minutes or so. Nothing crazy. Doctor looked at my infection and said oh that's probably an STD. I said it probably isn't, what else could it be. She insisted it would probably be an STD. So I said test for other stuff just in case. Another nude came in and took some blood. The doctor prescribed me 3 pills in total. She said I wouldn't need anymore. Took the pills that night, and Saturday they called me back. Congratulations it's not an STD. I know it wasn't an STD, what else did you test for. Just STD's? Well that defeated the purpose of going there. My wife and the doctor got into an argument on the phone with her asking me to come back in to see her again because it wasn't getting any better. I saw my doctor the following Monday, he say me right away. I told him what happened, and he laughed when I was prescribed 3 pills. He said that I'd need a minimum of 10 days of pills. I've been taking the medicine he prescribed ever since. Don't go here if you want good medical advice. read more

We made an advance appointment for my partner's 'ear ache' on a very busy Sunday. We did have to wait a bit but they were very regular keeping us abreast of our place and absolutely meticulous in managing the waiting patients in a strict Covid-Times protocol. We waited comfortably in our car while they came back and forth with registration etc. Once inside we were immediately escorted to an exam room that was clean and comfortable. The exam and history taking were quite thorough - not pared down as some might fear given the pandemic. I am also an RN and health care administrator in my own 'day job' so I appreciate Professional and friendly customer service - that's what we experienced from all throughout. Reception, quick sign for forms and a brief wait ( 10 min. ) and I was evaluated and then seen by a physician. Examined ,diagnosed and given an rx for an antibiotic. Went there on a Friday evening to diagnose what seemed like strep throat. First ever visit there. Everyone (who worked there) was v friendly and seemed happy to be there (remember it's Friday evening). There was only one other "patient" (the obligatory crying infants) in the waiting room - which is decorated like a family room more than a doctor's waiting room, so that was nice. Check-in involved a wait (7-8 mins). Not unreasonable, although since there were more workers than patients it wasn't clear why I was waiting. I was then called inside to check in and the lady was super friendly and thorough. Check-in paperwork was v simple, a huge plus. Then another brief wait, then the nurse does the usual triage, then another wait of around 5-7 minutes. Dr was also super nice and inspired confidence. Suggested a strep test (yay). Then another 7-8 minute wait to get the test. Then after another 10-12 mins Dr shows up & says I don't have strep and I get a scrip to treat symptoms and leave. Overall a v good experience. I would take off half a star for the check in wait and process. But between 4 or 5 stars, it's a 5 for sure. read more
