They had some great suggestions on preventive maintenance we could do in the future. Then Victor and his son came and did the repairs. Qualitatively, we could not be happier. Overall cost and value? We were delighted to pay the company. When money is at a premium, like in our current environment, you need a company that delivers and is above all, Reliable. We recommend American Bathtub Refinishers. Another thing, it's not just the refinishing itself that is excellent it is the attention to detail that puts this company over the top. Peter did a fine job of caulking the entire parameter of our tub. The bead of the caulking was perfect even at the base where the tub meets the floor - it really stood out because he carefully cleaned and prepared the surface. The final job framed the refinished tub beautifully. It gave our tub a look of precision and customization. Also, the ventilation equipment used was proportional to the job at hand. As a result, the vapors emitted from the curing process after the job was completed was minimal. Peter also made certain that all fixtures and windows were covered in visqueen plastic We've had contractors not bother to make this effort; and as a result, our place was turned into a dusty mess - not appreciated! The manner in which the visqueen and construction paper was installed impressed me. It was precision cut to fit the construction site in such a manner that no dust could leak through into the rest of the house and no over spill touched the floors and walls - very much appreciated! Peter's cleanup was as thorough as his refinishing work - again, this was appreciated. Overall, a most satisfying experience.

We were so happy with the finished product that we decided to remodel our second bathroom too. Since we were introduced to McCarty Customized in 2020, they have remodeled 2 bathrooms, drywalled walls and ceiling of the entire 2nd floor, complete gut kitchen remodel, tear-down of an existing screened-in porch, complete build of 400 square foot addition, installed LVP flooring throughout the entire 1st floor, new roof, new gutters and siding, and I'm sure I'm forgetting about something. There is no part of our home that they haven't touched. I could not be happier with this company. They are incredibly responsive, which is not easy to come by in this industry. Their work product has been excellent. Every person that we have dealt with has been kind and respectful. Work was completed on schedule. I have always been pleased…read more After the recent subzero temperatures, noticed a huge crack in a plate glass living room window. I wasn't sure whether they did this kind of work. They, and other businesses were closed the day after Christmas. Still, they were the first company to respond on the 27th. Sent a tech the same day. He measured, took the window out the morning of the 29th and replaced with foam board. Returned same afternoon with the new glass installed and put the window back in place. They are reliable and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
