They smeared some white putty over the marks on the sash. Said he would replace the screens, then after getting payment of $632.14 he said "get me the old screens and I'll replace them". I told him the old screens were sent out in the trash all broken up but the other windows on the building are the same size. I also needed a new toe lock on my sliding glass door put in to accomodate a newly installed dog door. They accomplished both in less than 15 mins, tasks I had not been able to do myself despite repeated attempts. I had also scheduled them to repair my next door neighbor's front glass storm. They repaired the door handle and realigned the door so that it would latch smoothly and completely. They were unable to repair the heavy front door handle, but did give her suggestions on where to find a replacement handle. The cost of both of the jobs was more than reasonable. Steve's Doors had previously repaired my son-in-law and daughter's front door and locks a few months ago and were very pleased. I will certainly use them again and recommend them to others.
