I was extremely disappointed with Alex and Trimelogic. My small cottage remodel began in the end of…read moreAugust 2025 and was due to be finished in 4 to 6 weeks. By the end of March 2026, it had not been completed, and I fired Alex and his crew and got another group to finish the work. Much of what was done on my screened-in porch had to be removed or corrected. None of the supporting post were plumb, overhead supports were not level, and the sanded plywood that was installed as a ceiling for my carport was attached with trim nails. Needless to say, the ceiling did not stay in place. As for the inside of my cottage, architectural plans were not followed and rooms were not built to the specified size. I have wall switches that do not activate anything. The plumbing of the sink underneath the kitchen and bath have such long hoses so that the space is hardly usable for storage. The LVP flooring has cracked and needs to be repaired in two rooms. The overall lack of communication and sometimes showing up to work caused tremendous hardship on me. Because the project was not finished by the projected date, I had to live with my daughter for six months, and reschedule delivery of appliances. I found Alex to be overtly pleasant, but he did not listen to my concerns, built things the way he wanted to do them in spite of the architectural drawings, and provided many many excuses for why he did not show up on time. For example, he didn't work on one particular day and when I texted him to ask, why, he said they weren't coming because he didn't like the look of the sky. Although there were clouds, it never rained at the job site. Another issue of concern is that Alex did not get a to do the . As a contractor, I was under the impression he took care of all of the for the remodel and addition of the porch. My new crew had just begun working when a code enforcer drove up and said that all Work had to stop. The office had received an anonymous phone call saying that I was doing construction without proper permits. My new contractor took care of this problem that very day. I find it extremely odd that anyone could see what was going on at my house since I am surrounded by trees, and there's no way to see my house as cars drive-by. How would anybody know that a permit had not been granted when I didn't even know that?

We all know that deciding to finish the basement or remodel an area of our home can be…read moreoverwhelming, especially when you consider the inconvenience and interruption to the family's daily routine. Then there is the task of finding a company or contractor that will complete the project for a reasonable price. I may have a suggestion that could make the whole process less overwhelming. I was the office assistant for a construction company (Buford Drywall Inc) for over two years. As it was a family-owned company, I was responsible for most of the duties in the office, from ordering office supplies to ordering project materials and everything related to ensuring that the office ran smoothly on a day-to-day basis. I recommend Buford drywall because of the above-and-beyond service I have witnessed them give each client from start to finish. I realize you might think my recommendation is biased since I once worked with the company, but let me ask you, would you recommend the service of a former employer if it was not genuine? Would you put your name out there like that? I unquestionably would not, so you can believe this is a simple, honest recommendation from someone who was a witness. Before I dive into what makes their service remarkable, I would like to tell you about Buford Drywall Inc. They are a construction company located in downtown Buford on Main Street. It is owned and operated by the Miranda family; the CEO is Jonathan Miranda. Mr. Miranda has been working in construction for over twenty years. He has experience in various areas of the trade; however, the company's focus is metal framing, all things drywall, and acoustical ceilings. Now back to why I recommend Buford Drywall as the company for your next home improvement project. While working with Buford Drywall, we mostly worked on commercial projects such as Tommy's car wash, Dunkin Donuts, and Firestone; however, we occasionally would get a call for residential projects. I remember one of the clients calling to get an estimate about completing his basement, but he was concerned about how much it would cost. Jonathan went to look at the basement; he made a few suggestions that would cut some of the cost without sacrificing the quality. Ultimately, they wrote up a contract that finished the basement to the client's expectations at a price that fit his budget and left him exceedingly pleased with his new basement. Sometime later, we received a call from another client that wanted to do some remodeling to their home; however, this time, they wanted it completed while they were out of town so that when they returned, it would be ready. Jonathan went and looked at the place; he made his suggestions and gave the client an estimate for the project. After that, the family went on their trip, and the company went to work, completing the project per the client's instructions. Jonathan kept the family informed of the progress via pictures and videos, allowing the family to review the work and make suggestions or adjustments. When the family returned, the remodeling was complete, and they were thrilled with the renovations. These are a couple of examples of why I highly recommend and suggest that if you are planning on making any home improvement now or in the future, you consider Buford Drywall Inc as the contractor for the project. Lastly, I would like to highlight a few notable benefits that Buford Drywall offers its clients. First, Buford drywall will order and have all materials needed for the project delivered to the site (your home). Residential clients have sighed a breath of relief at this information. Second, Buford Drywall is a stickler for finishing a project on time. They will work all day and on weekends if necessary to complete the project on time. The final benefit I want to mention is the one-year labor guarantee offered on each project. Offering a one-year warranty demonstrates how much Buford Drywall takes pride in the quality of work on each project.
