Wow. I have never ever been disappointed by Chinese food like this place before. Not only was the food awful but the service was terrible. I ordered online at 6pm and requested it to be delivered as soon as possible. Ordered one combo and one cantonese chow mein and one egg roll. Should be simple. By the time 7:45 rolled around I had still not received my food. I called them several times only to be hung up on and it wasn't until the 6 or 7th call they picked up. When I asked about my order, they answered "Oh, yeah, you ordered online, I'll ask them to make it now." They had forgotten my order. They never took it. So I was waiting an hour and a half for an order that was never delivered. It didn't arrive until 8:30. By that time, I could have went to any other place and gotten food in half the time. By the time the food did arrive, I was excited because I love chinese food. This was the worst food I've ever eaten. It was cold when I got it, the general tao's chicken was just deep fried flour (mostly breading), there was no spice to it, the fried rice was hard. The cantonese chow mein was by far the most disappointing. Somehow the best part of it was the noodles, which weren't even crisp, they just didn't taste bad. The sauce was ok, but the vegetables and meat tasted like someone just boiled the crap out of them. It was the most bland and disappointing. I would recommend if you want to go to Chinese food, go literally anywhere else. Even if it's not close by, even if you have to pick up, the food is not worth saving the time. read more

Ordered off Uber Eats and the driver forgot the drinks, so I called the restaurant - and even though it was technically an Uber Eats issue, when I called the restaurant, they delivered me the drinks separately, no charge. Have ordered from this restaurant before and have been disappointed at the steamed dumplings one of my favorite foods. BUT what angered me more is that none of the workers except for one person doesn't wear a face mask. A MASK DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC. I will never be spending my money at this restaurant unless they take this pandemic more seriously because I have mentioned the face mask issue and the woman wearing the face mask laughed at me. Was very concerned about my health and safety going into this restaurant. My favourite place for Canadian style Chinese food. The food is always hot when I order (either delivery or pick up) and it's fairly consistent in terms of flavour and quality. The open ended egg rolls are always a win, along with the chicken balls, chicken fried rice, beef and broccoli, general tso chicken (more sweet than spicy). I really enjoyed the deep fried shrimp the last time I tried it and the wontons are also a choice here with some meat in them. It's a small hole in the wall so there's nowhere to sit and eat. I would recommend ordering ahead either online or by phone instead of walking in. They also have a single platter for just over $10 and you get to choose 3 options. read more

Ive ordered delivery from here a half dozen times now and love it. I moved to Ottawa from Vancouver and find it very difficult to find half decent Chinese or Japanese food. The delivery has always been on time and exact time it says to expect it online which is usually around 45 minutes. Delivery guy always friendly. Food always fresh, hot and tasty. I have tried the following: Egg Rolls - Very good filling tasty. Jar doo chicken wings- Deep fried crispy wings. Could use more salt, not bad but I have had better. S&S Chicken Balls - Large pieces of chciken, tasty batter and piping hot sweet and sour sauce on the side I prefer this rather then poured over the balls. BBQ Pork Fried Rice - very tasty, piping hot, large portion, large pieces of bbq pork. Cantonese Chow Mien - My all time favorite Chinese dish. Fried noodles, mixed vegetables (carrot, celery, broccoli, onion, mushroom), chicken, BBQ Pork and Shrimp. So delicious, highly recommend theirs. We usually call this restaurant for delivery service. Our favorite items include their egg foo young, Singapore rice noodles, and chicken balls. The chicken balls taste a lot better than they look. Delivery service has been prompt most of the time, unless you call during some crazy peak hour. They are a godsend when you don't feel like cooking or going out for dinner. read more

In the US we would call this "American Chinese"....many dishes full of sugar. However, of the multiple meals I've had much of it tastes Chinese. And they delivery...which is a plus for me in that it's cold in Ottawa and I don't feel like going outside if I don't have to. I'll likely order from them again before I leave town. It's not bad and it's convenient. Spicy is spicy...so it's only about 50% American Chinese....and that's a better then bad. It's not GREAT Chinese.....and it's not Chinese Chinese....but there is Chinese on the menu and it tastes good....in a 50% American Chinese sort of way....so I give some respect....enough respect to order one more time before leaving town. read more

Chicken chow mein : large portion,tender chicken, crunchy veggies and great taste! :) Almond Chicken soo guy: huge portion, 3 deep fried flat chicken pieces, tasty batter. There came a bit of a craving so we decided to stop in here for a spring roll craving. This place is NOT for sitting down and enjoying your Chinese Food. It's about the food and taking it to go. I have been a loyal customer for at least 5 years. For the last six months the food has terrible and the service bad. My last order the general tao chicken was dry on the edges before the batter was put on and the green onions in the fried rice were slimy and tasted bad. Waited 1 hour for delivery then called and said on way. Waited 30 min longer called said sorry driver just leaving now. Waited another 30 min and told will be there in 10 min. The woman didn't realize this wasn't normal to wait over 2 hours for delivery. Never go back here. Sad thing is we live 2 km away. read more

I just had the "manager or owner" call me, after making a complaint about my online order taking 2hrs and the driver being extremely rude after my partner let him know he'd need change, screaming that we need to be respectful and then continuing to tell me that he would not deliver here again. The food was delicious, except for the open-ended egg roll, which only tasted burnt. I was disappointed that I received delivery and did not get any cutlery with it. Also disappointing, but my own fault for not checking, was that I didn't receive any rice with my order. Most restaurants include a free container of white rice with most orders, so I didn't think to order any. read more

Food took over 3 hours to arrive and when it did it was cold. after an hour and half we tried to contact the restaurant for an update, but the line was constantly busy. When we finally got through after an hour of trying, they were unapologetic and told us that "it was just heading out the door). I got this app just to warn people about this restaurant! I got sick from their food today and when I called to tell them they were extremely hostile but eventually agreed to just refund me for the food if I brought the rest back. When I got there an older man told me "if you're so sick go to the hospital" then told me to leave by waving his hand at me. If this is how they so easily treated me instead of refunding a whole 11 dollars I would think twice about eating here. read more
