This Place is Now DJ'S TANNING SALON & They are HORRIBLE & SHADY & EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. They haven't even been in business a year. The owners daughter Gena is Vidictive, Has no sense of Customer Service Skills, Has a Very Dirty Mouth & is very Uncompassionate. They aren't open when they say they will be, which made me request a refund but they refused & wanted to know why I waited so long to request a refund. Although I expressed it was none of their business, I chose to share I had a death in the family & her response "I DON'T GIVE A F*** WHO DIED" I will be seeing her parents in court for a measly amount however hoping no one has to go through what I did read more

This place is now called Tanning Salon and More. I went to get a spray tan, called before hand and set up an appointment. This was my first spray tan ever and I had a few questions about it. Karen (owner) walked me through the process very easily and patiently. Handed me some FAQs to take with me and set me up in a private room where I was able to tan. Friendly, clean, great prices and deals!!! I took away a star because the beds are older models but they tan great. The staff keeps jolly ranchers, spray deodorant and a cool, after tan spray in all of the rooms... A really nice gesture in my opinion. And they have a station where you can fix your hair or face after you've tanned, in case you have somewhere to go right after. SUCH A GREAT IDEA. Love this place. read more

Lotion prices are cheaper than dwn below w/ a large selection for all budgets,& tanning costs are cheaper than other places in the high desert. This is the only tanning salon out here so if I could go to another one I would. The floors are gross, the hallway with the doors are so crammed in you have to be careful when you open it. The beds are very old and it doesn't seem like they keep up with replacing new bulbs every 6 months when your suppose to. I used to work at one for 2 years, I would know. There is this one girl who is very rude, I don't know if it's because she is jealous or what, but she always has an attitude. She has dark hair and I know she is a marine wife..I'm so glad I'm moving soon so I can get better service with the beds.. read more

Oh wow where to begin. The beds are old and crappy. Stickers falling off, discolored, and when you lay down and look at the roof of the bed the damn things are all warped, looks like theyre melting. And to top it off I asked about the price of a bottle of their tanning lotion 'obsidious', the girl told me it was $126!!!!!!!!!! So politely I said thanks but no thanks and I went to the room that I was tanning in. immediately I want to amazon and looked up obsidious tanning lotion- same bottle size and all. You know how much? $36! If that isnt one of the biggest rip offs I've every seen.... You'll get a decent tan from this place for very cheap, however they will try and take your money through the products so dont buy here. Definitly a low end tanning salon, would never be able to compete anywhere else with real tanning salons. read more

This tanning salon isn't my favorite and the owner decided to raise prices! This is the only tanning salon in 29 so it's obvious that she's taken advantage. Prices for their products are over priced and the quality of the equipment, and cleanliness of the salon is not worth it to me. I'd rather spend the extra gas money and drive to Yucca. read more

This salon is a privately owned business, so it cannot be expected to be like the big name "Darque" salons. You can tell it is a little older, but it's kept up very nice! They offer a Versa Spray Tan machine, I always do a level 2 and receive wonderful compliments on it! They also have 2 stand-up and 3 lay-down beds all with 6UVB bulbs, so they are high pressure! The salon has the best prices I have ever seen at a reputable tanning salon, $44 (after tax) for a whole month of unlimited tanning! They also have differently monthly specials every month, like this month you can buy $1 tans! During the Holidays they do a good drive too, which is so sweet. The staff is always friendly and helpful, so that's a plus! I definitely recommend this tanning salon! read more

No Tan Lines Salon - Tanning Beds Near Me - Twentynine Palms, California

I love this place. No, it's not super high end but the beds work and the staff is super nice and helpful. The products they sell are a bit expensive but I've yet to go to a tanning salon that actually sells those bottles for the price you could get them on Amazon. I think I got a way better deal than the time I went to Darque tan too. When I went to Darque tan the lady there didn't believe me when I said that I tan fast and don't burn easily and instead put me on a level one bed for 7 minutes. I had absolutely no change in color and I even purchased a sample of their product which cost me $20 and didn't do anything except make me look like a lobster at first and then faded me back to my original skin color. I also spent $40 on that session so I was very disappointed about the whole experience. At elektric beach tan however, I spent 8 minutes in a regular bed that wasn't on a level system and I got noticeably a shade or two darker. I tried a product that cost me about $6 and my total ended up being $60 for 20 sessions which is a way better price to me. I'd pay $20 more for 19 more sessions any day. I definitely recommend this place. read more

First off the STAFF is Perfect & Unbelievably nice! I've had two ladies assist me both where A+++! I wish I could recall their names but I do remember both having dark hair. I know at least one was a Marine wife and I had a delightful conversation about the ball coming up with her! Both ladies answered my questions about lotion and went above and beyond to sell me. In my opinion the staff is the only thing going for this place. The walls are dirty, base boards filled with dust! They need a good bleaching & a new paint job! The carpet looks horrible & filthy! The placement of the rooms is on another level, doors are hitting each other and it feels like a maze getting out! The beds are from 1992, at least three blubs are out in the standup I went in! The blubs are not strong. Salon only offers medium pressure beds! All in all this salon is tolerable at best. read more

Prices are fair, location is okay. Only tanning salon in twenty-nine palms, I've been using this salon for a couple of weeks. I asked the employee when the last time the bulbs where changed, she politely told me that she wasn't the manager so she doesn't handle that type of thing. CODE for NEVER! bulb do not even turn my skin pink, have tanned for a couple weeks straight & I am not near as dark as I should be. The employee that is there most of the time excuse for that is "are you using lotion?" YES I use lotion, No I will not pay double or triple the price that I can get on amazon. Besides the old warn bulbs I think the place could be an A+! I believe her name is Jacqueline, she is there most of the time. She is really talkative and friendly, but poor girl their is nothing she can do about the poor quality of owners not maintaining the beds. also id like if they put the goggles in the room instead of the little blue box up front. read more
