I was under a dermatologist care in Coral Springs for 14 years, before I moved to the palm beach area. I google searched for Dermatologist and was impressed with what I read of Dr. Weisberg from his education, background, and patient reviews. I was also happy to see he specialized in basil cell skin cancer-something I have to deal with quite frequently. Dr. Weisberg and his assistant Katie seeing how many spots I have already had removed over the many years and how many they counted needed to be done at that visit-asked questions-and as they thought after researching and blood work diagnosed with Basil Cell Nevus Syndrome (aka Gordan Disease)-he and Katie did that from my first visit there-where the same dr I saw for 14 years (3-4 times a year w/ 3-4 basil cell spots removed each visit) did not. They are top knowledge expertise in my book, and I feel very confident and comfortable in their care, which is tremendous on my part with doctors. Dr. Weisberg was recommended to me by a highly regarded (NY/FL) plastic surgeon who is also a patient of Dr. Weisberg's. I required Mohs surgery on my face after receiving a biopsy result from another dematologist in Jupiter. Dr. Weisberg was very thorough and sought a second opinion on my scrape biopsy result, which I thought was brilliant! I found both the staff and Dr. Weisberg to be very gracious and accommodating. I waited no more than 4 minutes to be seen on both occasions. I am most thankful for Dr. Weisberg's incredibly thorough explanation of my diagnosis and that he offered options for proceeding. In this day and age of factory-style dermatological offices with rote & often drastic protocols it was refreshing to find a doctor who thoroughly explained the risks and benefits of proceeding in different ways. My father, a 95-year-old patient, has been given such wonderful TLC at Dr. Weisberg's office, I had to write a review. He has had so many appointments for squamous cell or basal cell or "imagined" cell growths and Dr. Weisberg and his staff have been patient, kind, and professional with each and every one. Even with that paper-thin elderly skin, Dr. Weisberg manages minimal scarring and thorough removal. His staff is terrific with scheduling and friendly smiles. Dr. Weisberg really listens to my father's concerns, and he takes time to not only treat but also care for him. I found Dr. Weisberg in Jupiter on my medical website and checked reviews; they were great. I had squamous cell carcinoma on my nose. My daughters wedding 6 weeks away Dr. Weisberg said with a little makeup it will be fine. Surgery went well; 20 outside stitches. 3 weeks out of surgery and a little makeup you can barely see it. Dr. Weisberg is a talented surgeon. I had no need for plastic surgery, awesome bedside manner, his staff is great & office is spotless. Life in the sun has it's problems so I get checked out every 6 months and get pre-cancer spots frozen off. Katie does a great job and occasionally I have had squamous cancer cells that need removed.
