My short distance move was fine. But I have some issues with my experience. First of all the team was very kind who came to my house. More of the issues ended up being the issue of not really listening to what should have went in the boxes / truck. Somehow the three mattress pads for king beds ended up in my new apartment when i specifically said to leave it. Second the tv was set up in the master but not in the living room. The men were extremely tired which I understand but I completely was honest to their boss / owner what I needed done - move - set up - trash take away. I moved less than 3 miles and it was a little bit of a fiasco to the lack of communication (assuming) between the movers and owner. Lastly I feel the owner is a bit snippy as he is angry I didn't use him for my cross country move. I told him I needed my antiques crated which is a service they don't provide. When I called back the other day to see if they could move another item - they told me it would be really expensive and can't fit me in till the end of September. Whatever. Anyway very nice guys. Nothing stolen. Owner has an attitude problem. I guess he picks and chooses his customers - oh well read more

They were very professional, friendly and easy to work with. They treated my belongings with the utmost care. They were able to transport a very large and unstable plant without any damage. The house that I moved into has a very steep driveway and I was concerned that they might have a problem getting up and down the hill. A perfectly fine moving company with the usual cast of characters one would expect moving in NY. The prices were reasonable and not inflated and they kept pretty much to the estimate and also moved things quickly with no a lot of dawdling. I have no issue with recommending them to others. Not extraordinary but definitely a good job overall w no damage and not overly expensive. My only issue is that Custo Service was lacking and despite my spending nearly a full day w the men and providing them w lunch, fruit, snacks and a large tip - only one man even had the courtesy of saying thank you or even saying goodbye. read more

Because of the COVID pandemic, the 4 month remodeling of our house in Northern Westchester expanded to 2 years! In the meantime, all of our belongings were parked at a storage site in Danbury. When we could finally move back in, we sought quotes from a number of local movers - with Noah's Ark coming in as the most reasonable. Robert helped realistically price the cost of the move from 2 storage rooms to our house and, while Noah's Ark wasn't the cheapest (or the most expensive), the job came in at the estimated amount. We have used movers before, and they almost always quote low and add on when moving day comes along. Not so here. The moving team arrived on time, and were courteous, efficient and careful with our belongings. The were clearly an experienced team and we would use them again if we had another move in us (hopefully we are not moving again!). I highly recommend them. read more

We hired Noah's Ark to move a few items including a large plant, a few boxes and other large items.They knew exactly how to pack the plant so it doesn't get destroyed in the move and arrange everything in the truck so that it didn't break. They were pricey especially since they put half the boxes in the garage and not in the area where they belonged because one of the guys spent at least 20-30 minutes in each location trying to fix his drill and then rushed us stating that we were going over our time limit and wanted to charge extra time and money. We didn't want to argue. So just keep that in mind when dealing with them. read more

They were prompt, courteous, and reassuring throughout the process surrounding our move from Greenwich to Stamford. We had 6 guys and 2 26' trucks who smoothly moved everything with nary a scratch on moving day (in the middle of torrential wind and rain, mind you). They even moved our baby grand piano! They did try to get more money out of us for overtime, which we complained about with a call to the office because no one had ever mentioned that possibility prior to the move; that seemed to be something the movers always ask for to see if they can make a few extra bucks on moving day...don't fall for it! In spite of that, all 6 of the movers were very professional and conscientious, and we tipped them well! Noah's ark is fantastic. We had a situation where we needed to move all of our stuff into storage for an unknown amount of time, and then do a cross-state move whenever we found a house. We moved out of our CT home in a hurricane. The movers did a fantastic job covering everything so that we didn't have water damage or mold whenever we moved out of storage. 6 months later, all of our stuff arrived at our new house in great condition. That tells me the storage facility was climate controlled. The crew was the same 6 months later which I loved! The leader, Salvatore, was awesome. They even helped us move a couch out of our basement that the sellers left here. The guys made sure everything was to our liking before they left. Really above and beyond. I have moved more than once during the past couple of years and I only use Noah's Ark Moving & Storage. Moving is anxious enough without having to worry about the moving company you're using. I have found them to be EXCEPTIONAL! I've used them from state to state moving as well as moving literally two doors down. They're efficient, knowledgeable and respectful of your property. They also use discretion when called for. I always recommend them to friends who are moving. In the last job they did for me (my mother's move), they were amazing! My mom got sick during the move. I used Noah's Ark to move from CT to MA a couple years ago. I've moved once since then, and it really reminded me how amazing Noah's Ark was. They were on time, and so quick! They moved everything with care but were so focused on getting in and out efficiently. I didn't know better at the time but I thought this was a typical moving experience, until I moved again and couldn't use Noah's Ark due to being too far, and oh man was that a miserable experience. A real "bait & switch" operation; the owner was hostile, disrespectful and rude - screamed at me over the phone, forbid the workers from assisting with any packing. When the movers broke my glass dining room table, he tried to settle for $100, then wrote it up on the claims estimate as a coffee table!!
