When the male doctor Dr. Griffith was there it was a great place. He was not greedy and did not start upselling you the moment you walked in the door til you paid and walked out minus $500 or more, depending on what they said your dog needed. Even if you were there for an ear infection. And nail trim. $90 for nail trim! $30 for 2 extra people and $30 for a plastic bag to catch the nails trimmed!! Can you believe that?!! Didn't even see 3 people working there that day. $30 for a plastic bag to lie on the floor!!! No way!!! Have never been back. I recommend Dr. Larry at Remrock Farms in Plymouth! Excellent, skilled, calls you himself w outcomes of any tests needed. Kept to the reason we were there w our precious girl!! He called me at 1 and at 6!! He connected at 6....spoke for around 15-20 min. He was not in a hurry wanted to know if I had questions. Etc. we will take our older doggie to him as well. So happy to have found him. ‍ read more

I have a dog who is not good around most men, and they are always so helpful in making sure we can get inside safely for everyone. They are very friendly and helpful with any concerns and are great with helping keep my dog as calm as possible. Last year we had to put our very old dog to sleep, and they were so lovely and made us a keepsake paw print with her name on it. Very lovely people and very caring. read more

We were on time for our appt and waited 45 minutes for the vet to see our dogs and she never showed up so we just left. The staff is very unhelpful (and spent most of their time trying to upsell us) and seemed to be more interested in standing around and talking than helping their patients - I felt like I was in a sorority house. I have taken several of my dogs to Noah's Ark after I had a very sad situation with my 17 year old cat. I just lost my doggy-daughter of ten years. She had just been seen 2 months earlier and I had talked with the vet about several of my concerns and the vet said that my concerns are attributed to her getting older. At that time, I wish she had taken the time to discuss with me how to help a senior dog to grow old gracefully and things that can/should be done with an older dog. That did not occur, nor did she suggest blood tests and or x-rays. I will never know if the blood draw or x-rays could have helped (I had had blood drawn for a CBC a year earlier for a baseline). There is an art to guiding an animal companion through their golden years. Unfortunately, this vet practice maybe good for puppies and middle age pets. If you are using them, really question them hard if you feel they are not sharing your concerns. I have since rescued my new companion and have started with a new office. Our new veterinarian listens, really listens, and gives suggestions EVEN in COVID times. read more

My 15 1/2 year old dog had diarrhea so I called this office, they got us in the next day early in the morning. The vet was pretty good, gave me medication and fluids for her. The only did I did not agree with was the cost of the visit. She wanted to charge me for an emergency visit. After I told them I had scheduled it at that time they reduced the fee. I asked for a refill for an Rx she had been on for several months, and they told me they needed blood work first, I had a re-check scheduled and agreed to do the blood work then. They called me to check on her and I asked again about refilling the Rx, they agreed but then wanted me to call back tomorrow so they could charge me 5.00 just to call it in to Walmart. I told them they were crazy to charge a customer just to call in a script, and I will be following up with another Vet, for any other needs. read more

This review is based on the most recent experience we had. While in all fairness, the care, professionalism and administrative service used to be great, it seemed to have greatly diminished with departure of personnel. We had an emergency pet visit with one of our cats who had her tail crushed in March. An emergency clinic in Ann Arbor attended to her needs and gave her temporary meds but indicated that an amputation was needed ASAP. However, they were not staffed to perform emergency surgery and referred us to an associated Emergency Clinic in Southfield. They also noted our house veterinarian would be able to do it, but cheaper. We called Noah's Ark, with whom we have all our cats registered and explained the emergency situation. The assistant on the phone had us on hold, and could not provide us with any assistance and asked us to hold. 15 minutes later, someone else returned and stated that the first available appointment would be in MAY. IN MAY!!!!! My cat's tail is bloody and crushed, and the pain meds and antibiotics wont last that long!!!! We disconnected and immediately contacted the original Emergency clinic which transmitted the relevant information to the Southfield office. When we arrived, they had all pertinent info and our cat was taken care off immediately. As a result, I requested written prescriptions from Noah's Ark since our cats are on prescription food to shift our $1,500 p.a prescription food purchase to an online supplier. 2 of the 3 prescriptions were incorrectly completed with the wrong cats' name, TWICE. Just now, we received a phone call from someone who started to immediately talk about a rejected Prescription confirmation request (from 4 weeks ago) by an online pet supply company. Only when inquiring who actually talked, I was informed that it was Noah's Ark . I was told my cat had to be checked out first. Noah's Ark has a huge file on my cat which states that she needs this food - Noah Ark actually prescribed it first. I actually just bought that particular prescription food a week prior directly from Noah's Ark with NO visit required when ordering food via phone. To me, this is just not right. While everyone is swamped in the pandemic, I have not encountered this low level coordination, competence and lack of care. It did not occur to the office that the cat needed an immediate treatment. I would have expected at least a recommendation of a vet who can do it short notice, but that was not the concern of Noah's Ark. I am truly disappointed by this office and lost the confidence that they can do the right thing. read more

I give them a zero star! Took my 15 year old dog to this terrible money hungry place and they said she had heart failure after I paid hundreds of dollars for visit and x-ray and they gave medicine to make her feel comfortable while she was dying and when I called to refill the prescription they said I had to bring her in for another visit and have more x-rays and if I didn't they wouldn't give her the medication that was making her better. I would never recommend someone so heartless and greedy! They are definitely in it for your money and not to care for life and well being of your pet. read more

The worst when it comes to keeping vaccine record of your pets. Took my dog a year ago for her physical. They charged me for what all they did. (Including a fecal exam, which btw we took with us for this exam) today, when we went in, they had no record of the one year heart worm, 3 year anti rabies, fecal exam, nothing. And the doc, Dr. Buehler, has NO CLUE HOW TO SPEAK TO HER PETs Familes!!!!!! RUDE! Obnoxiously Rude. We Do NOT recommend this vet!!! If you have to, make sure to take detailed receipts and pictures. read more

Used to be very proffesional with concern and follow up . Last few trips no follow up call staff unaware of my dogs history. Failed to approve meds on time I could go on and on . I asked what was going on and was told my vet had quit and went to dexter. I asked about the other vet I liked and was told she quit too. My daughter took my guinea pig here for treatment - we ultimately had to have him euthanized (RIP Box ) but Dr Page was so absolutely loving, sweet, thorough & caring. I wouldn't hesitate to go there in the future and think I'll switch next time my dog is ill. read more

The Doctor seemed good enough, however ...from the moment you walk in the assistant is CONSTANTLY UPSELLING YOU for the next 45 minutes of your appointment. And I was told that the office visit would be $55, when we go there they changed the appointment to an Urgent Care spot and charged $75 instead. they charge $30 to clip and shave feet on my dog, THEN charge another $30 for a 'clip mat'!! WITHOUT TELLING ME ABOUT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE!! I was told the meds would be $30...the ear wash was $50!! walked out with $277 bill. they nickel and dime you and bait you and switch the entire time you're there. read more

I went to Noah's ark in Willis Michigan they made me pay the $59 a week before my visit. First visit with my rescue cat I told her it was from the Humane Society and that she might have an eye infection, doctor did two shots convinced me my cat was pregnant and she would die if her babies were dead. so she did ultrasound, $400 for the first visit, second visit should've just been fecal test I paid for on 1st visit. Eye drop the vet told me she FORGOT to give me on my 1st visit. Tried to get me to do a second fecal test. I said no. Just do what I already paid for. She gave my cat follow up shots. The eye drops she forgot to give me. And the fecal test I already paid for. They called me at the end and tell's me it's 150$ dollars???? I said why. It was for follow up shots. Eye drops the doctor just told me she forgot to give me. Vet tech said it was put in as doctor visit. I said why. It's for follow up shots. Also vet checked today. Found tattoos on my cats belly. If she would of done it on the first visit it would of saved me 150$ for ultra sound. They make you wait outside!!! They lock the doors and make you pay before opening the door and give you your pet. Have been taking my dog there for 12 years and had been happy with her care. Lately it's been difficult to get an appointment (I know...COVID), wait times once you get there are 20-30 minutes to even enter the building. Last year they diagnosed my dog with kidney disease and their treatment was to use prescription kidney food. This years lab work was worse and Dr. Page's suggestion was to "love her for the time I have left". I took her to a new vet for a second opinion. This vet took her blood pressure (something Noah's Ark NEVER did) and she has severe high blood pressure which can be making the kidney disease worse and needs treatment. So for a year, I trusted that Noah's Ark was taking the proper steps to treat my dog. They weren't even fully evaluating her! If they diagnosis your pet with a disease, I'd find a new vet to treat it because Noah's Ark doesn't seem to assess the whole animal, just the disease. read more

The staff was very supportive of us while we dealt with the loss of our beloved dog. They even sent us a sympathy card signed by everyone in the clinic. And it took only about 3 days to get his ashes back in a really pretty box. They put a lot of effort in trying to help our pet, but he was too sick to survive. Prices are fair and seem to be competitive. read more

The vet here is caring, but the rest of the staff is so incompetent. It started off about 6 months ago when I brought my dog in for x-rays. I called to let them know I was there for x-rays, and they asked if I brought my dog?! What? Then I had an appt. they cancelled and rebooked me on another day, saying that I rebooked it.. um NO! I then asked for the vet to call me 2x; the vet never called. This last appt. they ask the same questions, like they have not ever taken care of him.. I asked if they had a file on him... I was on time for my appt. and was told it would be awhile bc 2 were in front of me. It was 45 minutes before they called me, then they wanted me to put a muzzle on him, I said I didn't think they used one, and I wasn't comfortable doing it, and the "assistant" was very rude. I had it.. I said never mind, we weren't keeping the appt. and she said please don't come back.. No worries about that one.. poorly run business... vet needs competent office people who aren't rude! Took my dog there for the first time. Both of my vet's retired suddenly due to pandemic. They missed an infection and now it is much worse. Had to go to a different vet who caught and we are treating.I was rushed in and out, talked rudely to as I apparently was not moving fast enough(50 minutes from pulling into driveway until I pulled out for yearly,nail trim, shots-with covid non-entry in place. Agree with this practice, but appointments take longer with texting etc. Seems you shouldn't be complaining about a 50 minute appt when you missed an infection that I mentioned during making the appt and you should have caught while taking a routing temperature. That probably didn't happen either. They had no problem spending 5 minutes trying to get me to come back for expensive dental cleanings which our new vet says I do not need.Gave me a med and told me two different answers as to whether it was compatible with another med he is on. Asked for someone in charge to call me and discuss the "oversight" they agreed that they had missed. No return call. If you want your animal shuffled in and out like an HMO, this is the place for you. I would not trust this place until you are inside and supervising what happens. I will be posting a more specific review with a picture of my invoice as I noticed that all negative reviews are deemed "we never saw your pet". So expect to see this comment after I post. read more
