My friends and I went to Noble for the first time about a month ago. We play YuGiOh! and some Magic and they have a very wide selection of cards of all types, from Pokémon to One Piece. The staff are very friendly, and they were able to help us pick out some cards from their displays, and cards that weren't out on display. They also have booster packs from many different sets, and even let us pick our own packs from their box. We bugged them nonstop for about 45 minutes with card pricing to make sure we got the best deal, and they were very willing to help. Cannot recommend them enough. read more

Clean and friendly. Prices are right. This is the only place of its kind (used media) in town where they're actively keeping up with stock, with most of the inventory in alphabetical order. Very impressive. I've heard numerous customers ask about older gaming systems and listen to staff answer with intelligence and knowledge. read more

This store is garbage. Rudest, most unhelpful employees, and complete lack of customer service or common decency. Not only do tey sell crap that hardly works, when you buy a broken item that doesn't work at all, they will give you an insanely hard time to get a refund. Thats not even the worst part. The employees are by far the rudest sales people you can ever deal with, being jackasses and wasting time seems to be fun to them. Not to long ago, I went in and was wanting to buy some cards. Store was empty besides one employee and a guy selling a rather large collection of Magic cards. When I went over to speak with the employee and already knew what i wanted to buy, he said hed be right with me after helping the guy so wait a bit. Nothing wrong with that at all. They were in the middle of something and i didnt expect him to just ditch the guy to help me even though it would take just a minuet. So I sat down and waited. After 30 minuets of him still going through the collection. I asked about how long he thought it would be. Them employee gives the the dirtiest, pissed off look and basically shouted. "I told you it would be a while!" Well, naturally this was a dic move and pissed me off. He made it seem like it wouldn't be long at all. I said just give me an estimate, and he said he didnt know, cause it was a big deal. Well... thanks for letting me know instead of just telling me to hang out for a little. Couldnt bother to tell me how long at all and expected me to just wait silently for however long. After about another 30 mins, hes no where near done. Other customers started to come in, and he refused to tell them anything as well, ignoring everyone else for hours. How do they stay in business if they refuse to do anything to help people for hours on end. Finally, he finishes after ive been there an hour and a half, and the guy had been there for 3. He gives him a insultingly low offer for a very huge collection, like 10% of what he'd get selling it online. At this point i didnt care, so i just bluntly told the guy he was getting ripped off and scammed. The employee gets pissed and tells me its not my concern and i cant say that. I cant say my opinion and let someone know they are being scammed? Wow. No. I ignored him and told the guy hes getting the oldest, most successful scam that a place can use to rip people off. Ive worked in sales alot, and its a huge dick move, but places do it all the time. I told the guy that when someones selling a large amount of items at once its a common tactic to go as slow as possible and take as much time as they can before giving a lowball offer. Why? Because after youve already wasted and invested hours of your time into the sale, your more likely to take the offer then longer you had to wait. Simply because it makes the seller think that if he doest accept it, hes gonna have to go through this bullshiz again somewhere else, and no one wants to waste even more time doing that when youve already been here for hours. Naturally, I was kicked out for letting this guy know he was being played. This store treats its customers like trash. They waste peoples time on purpose, so they can better rip you off. I bought LEGO Star Wars on the PS2 from them and when I went to play it didn't work. I went back and explained it to them but the rude lady with a shaved head said "That's impossible, we only sell working games" Then explain why I have a broken game?? I tried to return it but she said they dont take "broken" games. Then explain why you sold it to me if it didn't even work in the first place?? They didn't have any others to replace it, and since I had to waste plenty of time and gas(I live 40 miles away from this location), I was extremely aggravated. I have spent some serious money in this store over the years. I've never been overly impressed by the service, the people are rude and not very helpful but it's convenient. Today was the last straw. I hustled to get to the store and got there right at 6pm, the door was still open and when I walked in, they said they could help me because they were closed. There were still customers in the store and I got there before they officially closed. I told them I just need to get two things, they told me, "no, we're closed." So I drove 39 minutes to get there today and they could help me even though I got there right on time. To whoever owns this store, you should vet through you're people better so you don't get lazy workers who will run off your customers. read more

I appreciate a store that doesn't follow you around asking if you need help every 3 to 5 minutes but this store unfortunately it's just a transaction, no more than that. They don't seem to care whether or not your there. Even small talk would've been better than just hearing a total. At least acknowledge people. I've never felt more awkward and disappointed until I visited this location. I'm probably not going to be returning, they won't care anyway. Other than that they did have a fair selection of video games for new and retro consoles. They even had current gen and retro consoles ranging from an SNES to the PlayStation 4! Even had hand held Gameboy's and PSP's. Had it not been for the sad customer service I'd say this was a neat shop if you just wanna get in and out. Might as well buy it on eBay or Amazon if you just want a plain transaction experience. read more

Due to the Rona, they only allow 7 people in the store at a time. There was 5 when I tried to walk in and they told me to wait outside. Through my time there, there ended up being 11 people in the store at a time. Two employees, one was helping a customer for 20 minutes and the other one said they couldn't help me until the other guy was done. Waited for 20 minutes to pay for my purchase. Maybe get it together if you want to stay in business. read more

I'm very disappointed in these guys they sold my mom a broken system first off she is a older lady and they sold her a game that didn't work and once she got home she noticed it didn't work... when she went to return it they gave her a really hard time and they were being super rude... Sure, it's a little hole-in-the-wall mom and pop video game store, but that's what people like most about Noble. If you want a break from the same ole' game stop inventory, then please go to Noble or Gamer's Anonymous and keep them alive! Places like Gamestop do not sell authentic vintage/retro games (Sega, Snes, Atari, Nes, Gameboy etc.) and that's the best part of Noble and other retro game stores. Please keep Noble open! read more

Like the other Noble location, this is a great store for video games and consoles from every era, DVDS, comics, and collectible card game collectible cards. The difference between the two, besides being about 10 miles apart, is the emphasis. The eastern location seems to focus on video games and DVDs, while this one, the western location, focuses more on comics, and collectible card games. Since I don't read comics or play Magic the Gathering, I prefer the other store overall, but I still always stop in at this one whenever I'm in the area. Why? Well, the video game selection, while not as stellar as the other store's, is usually good. They don't often have a ton of titles for this-gen consoles, but their prices are fair, their return policy is forgiving, and they usually have something interesting for me. Still, that's not why this place is awesome. You can buy PS3 and 360 titles at a lot of places, what you can't find everywhere is NES, SNES, Gameboy, Atari, Sega, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, etc., games. And Noble has tons of them. Games are generally in good shape, and they guarantee that the game works (or you can return it). I bought 3 of my 6 consoles from Noble, and I have had (knock on wood) no problems at all with them. As far as I know, there are no other stores in town that sell these games, but I can say they are much more reliable than buying them off Craigslist and usually a bit cheaper than Amazon (with shipping and all). read more

Awesome selection of old and new game consoles, games, accessories, etc. They sell movies, tv series, and card games also. Always usually really busy when I go in, so don't expect top notch customer service, but once you get their attention they are friendly. Being a couple stores away from gamestop, noble is usually busier which is great to support small business rather than corporation. And I really love how I can shop for my original nes and ps4 and also get a new movie all in one store. If looking for something in particular they call the Montgomery location and if it's in stock there they have no problem bringing it over which is awesome! read more

If I could rate this any lower I would. This store has zero morals when it comes to fair trade. They won't even offer 30% of what they sell for in store! They sell cards based off of the highest price they can find online then buy back offering only 25% of the lowest price they can find for your cards. How are places like this still in business!? Oh what can I say about this atrocity. In my other review about the Montgomery location I spoke on customer service and how it ain't the greatest but this store makes the other look like a thrift store to Dillard's. Unless you're a master of magic the card game you're lucky to get a Hi... or should I say "Hello Welcome to nobles"... at least make eye contact. Trust me it makes a difference. Both locations do have a good selection of stuff especially older games you can't find elsewhere but don't think your trades will help you get that original Sega game you want. The trade value, like the other store sucks bad! You might as well give them money to sell your stuff. And the price mark up is out of this world. I recently traded some blu rays, dvds, games... ect. All great condition and recent stuff, they offered me $9 store credit and after he printed his tickets to sell them back out, he priced all the games at $10 and over the blu rays $4.99 and dvds $1.99 and mind you I gave them at least three games, you do the math. If I could I wouldn't give them any stars but hey if you're a card game master... Welcome home! read more

I find Noble to be very fair in regards to in store credit for trade in. I still play the Nintendo DS games. I like simple game systems that stand the test of time. So, I trade in games I no longer play to obtain games at low to no cost to me. Not once has anyone at Noble offered me $0.50 for a game, unlike the other game store around the corner. I think they have a good selection of DS/GBA games and they can recommend games to fit your genre i.e. action, adventure, mystery, or educational. If your not into old, I say retro, games like DS they also have all the other systems as well. Just to note I have never had any trouble with a game. The games I have bought from Noble have played every time. read more

Sit down kids, and let me tell you a true story about Noble Gaming. Lets go back to somewhere in the 2000's. My friend Tiny and i are browsing and he asks to see a card. He is mostly blind at this time due to keratoconus thus he can not read the card through the glass. Their response to this was "are you going to buy it? if not no!" this of course led to us not using noble for many many years. Fast forward to about November 2015, we finally check the other noble out on Coors for Force of Will . We met the nicest manager in history, Anders, who even offers to judge for us over the phone as we attempt to learn the game. The kindness totally changes our mind about Noble Gaming and repairs the damage done by the original store. Over the next few months we got into the tournaments and met great people and judges including another employee who we called fairy because of his deck. We had a great time this past year, We bought over time about 10 boxes, and attended almost every tournament since December. Approximately we have spent 1300 dollars there over this year. I could have gotten the boxes far cheaper online, but paid the extra out of a sense of loyalty. I now regret Every penny. My trust in this company has been betrayed again as they have arbitrarily decided to fire the two people that restored it. Both Anders, and Fairy. I wish them to know in no uncertain terms, that unless they decide to reverse their decision, my business with them has concluded. If the people in question contact me directly saying the decision was reversed but they declined, ill consider and also edit this post. In the mean time i will make sure that i post this on every social media site i can. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB regarding the original incident, and i will be recommending to Force of Will that they remove them as a official store, as they do not need to be associated with a store that treats their employees and as a side effect customers this way. read more

They ripped me off badly. i brought in an NES, Super NES, and an N64 with at least 60-some games divided amongst the consoles, and they only paid me 100 dollars for everything. I brought in complete NES Mega Man set and complete Castlevania NES set and SMB, etc., just to name a few, and all was in near-perfect condition, too. I did not really understand the value of my collection until a couple of weeks after i sold it to Noble. Would have been the decent and right thing to do, if the so-called "professionals," there had brought the value of my collection to my attention and offered me a fair deal. I understand I should have been more aware of what I had--and in that case, I am to blame for my ignorance--but I was completely and totally taken advantage of and screwed by this crooked place. One of the most regretful decisions of my life was walking into that bs store. Come to find out later that Noble supposedly has set regulated prices for what they purchase from the customer--If this is even remotely true, the SOB clerk there ripped me off and took everything home for himself. I was recently in ABQ on business and decided to look up retro video games stores because I collect and play. Two stores came up in my searching: Noble and another that, well, will remain Anonymous. I visited both and hands down, this was the better store. There was a stack of Sega Genesis, NES, and SNES common games for me to go through, and even more uncommon and rare titles in the front case (and also boxed copies of titles). I bought 3 Genesis games at a good price. Maybe not as cheap as ebay, but the mere fact that this type of store exists and stocks these games from ~35 years ago is worth paying a couple of extra bucks. The other store had a fifth of what Noble has in stock. I'm just upset I didn't have time to visit both Noble locations. read more
