Austin was attentive to our concern and immediately assured us that this problem can be remedied. Had his equipments set up the following day and sprayed biocide to kill any mold that may have formed and to prevent further growth. Took a few days to dry (as expected) and we couldn't be happier we called them. I'm glad we didn't go w/ the other company or else our whole upstairs bathroom would have been unnecessarily gutted.

I was assured by many people that my homeowner insurance would pay for the repair. Fast forward a little bit. I used the Yelp app to check who can come help me. It gave me 2 additional contractors since primary one failed to respond. Within minutes, I started chatting with Jay F from A+fforable on Yelp app. It took a little effort but really efficient to get it done. I guess it's called "Virtual Consultation" during Covid-19 pandemic. Within 2 hours, I got a quote and secured an appointment. I immediately contacted my insurance agent to start a claim. On my first day meeting Austin for damage assessment, he brought Wilmer to start water mitigation. Austin is the supervisor, as you already know from other reviews. He quickly setup dehumidifier, fan and heavy-duty HEPA air purifier. In the same week, they came back with another helper Juan to perform tear out and sprayed fungicide to kill molds and checking for additional damage. I want to share my experience based on my initial connection before this review gets too long. Next thing is to rebuild my room. Having to wait on my insurance claim approval. In this modern age, hard to find a reliable contractor and someone easy to get alone. I will use A+fforable to help me to get my life back to completion.

They do Mold Remediation, Water Damage Restoration, Fire Damage Restoration & Heating & Air Conditioning Business as well as General Contracting Services for reconstruction jobs after clean up. Anyway, I called them for mold remediation & water damage. Of all 3 companies I called, these guys were the most knowledgeable, they were fair and didn't price gouge. They showed up on time and did a great job.

However, their answering service line and employee Tiersa will NEVER return calls. Whenever you call their number, you only reach a service company, not employees who can help you. They always say someone will call back, but after about 10 tens calling them, no one calls me back. I have emailed Tiersa multiple times and received no reply. They also took my damaged mirror during the demo saying insurance should pay for it. Now that insurance will not pay, they can provide me no records about the mirror. I HIGHLY recommend that you do not consider this company. There is no way to reach anyone if you have any issues because they don't have a public phone number, just an answering service.

We had two trees fall on our house in May 2024 puncturing our roof and ceiling, and we were referred to Total Restoration by a neighbor. I will be forever grateful for both the neighbor and the referral. If you are local to Houston and need anything, CALL THEM! The owner (Wade Bowles) came out himself which my husband and I both thought was incredible but he took it a step further and climbed onto our roof with the roofer! THE OWNER himself! Talk about customer service. There are too many to name here but we've written down everyone's name that came through our door. I will add Colby Hutchinson, Sergio Rodriguez, Victor (I'm sorry I forgot your last name) the painter, and Jessica Bowles are such good people that throughout this rough time, We've felt loved and taken care of.     I'm disappointed with this company. We scheduled them back sept 2019 to clean our vents, they sold…read moreus on a new compressor. We thought we had gotten a deal, new compressor, UV light filter and 4 years of maintenance (2 visits a year). We got not maintenance in 2019, I believe I did ask for it once and to be honest, they either did not come or didn't do anything. Fast forward to June 2021, we notice our ac is not cooling as it did before. I reached out to them for maintenance June 12, no response. AC is working better but then on June 28th, we wake up with a frozen compressor. I spent like 2 hours calling the company. I reached out via Facebook, called all the numbers I could find, even reached out to the Florida company (which directed me back to the Houston's number). I finally sent an email asking for emergency assistance and threatening to file a BBB complaint. I got a call back within minutes! The person that called me back was super nice and said that I should call him directly and ask for him and that he didn't know why the phones weren't working earlier in the day. (I gotta add that when I attempted to call him back and request him specifically, he never got back on the phone for me.) Anyway, we were able to schedule someone for same day visit and this technician diagnosed the issue OVER THE PHONE. He stated that the line had a leak due to the frozen compressor. after i clarified that THEY had installed it, he changed to "I'll see what the issue is once I get there." My husband was there and he tells me that it took him ZERO time to diagnose. He stuck to the "it's a leak narrative" and once he went in the attic he said it was the coil and that it would be $1500 to replace a coil under warranty. um, what? I'm so glad I asked my neighbors for assistance. They recommended a wonderful local company that sent someone same day, the new technician was SUPER professional, he checked ABSOLUTELY everything. He stated that there was NO issue with coil. He recommended an expansion valve replacement. after he replaced it, he noticed that the blower motor was also out. He replaced that as well AND refilled the unit. all for $500. I can't imagine how much more we would've spent if we had agreed to Quality Air of America's coil replacement. The issue wasn't even the coil, it was the blower motor and the valve. sooo I imagine we would've had to pay for the coil THEN pay for the other 2 things. I'm so disappointed with this company. I feel that if they had done the maintenance that they promised we would've figured out there was an issue with our system before it went completely out and burned the blower motor, we could've saved on repairs. Not only that, but they were ready to replace a working component and overcharge without even doing a proper diagnosis!!! They have no values. I regret having our compressor replaced with them. We could've gotten a better company with better values to do our hvac work. I would advice to always get a second opinion, I highly recommend Thermal Heating & Cooling instead. Local company, extraordinary service. HONEST AND FAIR. Ask for April Bella.
