DO NOT RECOMMEND! 6 Black women stayed 9/12-9/14 3 of use arriving at 6pm. It started w/ the parking. The male owner showed a parking spot small enough for a motorcycle for a midsize car. We had to verbally tell him the car wouldn't fit there after he sized up the spot. Then we go on a tour of the most terrifying dollhouse (only thing missing was the porcelain dolls) that I aptly renamed the projects. The "decor" could use some updating. But, it works to sleep in & like other reviews mention it is close to the boardwalk. We didn't even stay the night! 9/13 we returned to shower. 2 of us took showers only to find that the water didn't get hot. Imagine trying to shower with a full face of makeup & Aunty Mary (menstrual). Yes, that was me in the downstairs bathroom for 45 minutes (the water NEVER got hot!). Another person was upstairs taking a shower and relayed a message to ME that the water was not hot also. That's 2 of 6 women. So, the 2 of us are enjoying sitting on the porch and the male owner (who lives above the rental office) walks by and asks how everything was so far. So, I informed him that the water doesn't get hot, he tells me you have to wait. I advised him of how long I was in there for & ...the man begins to argue with me that the water is fine. Then he insists on checking. He is then informed that there are 4 women in there in different phases of undress. I also, informed him that our neighbors ~5+ Harley riding younger white men said their water wasn't getting hot either (we coexisted well). So, I said go in theirs and check. He didn't. The second of the 2 of us said to check the water heater. He did & w/ NO APOLOGY! He comes back and says he had to reset it by unplugging and replugging. Please note that this is an AirBNB! Not included ANYTHING like the traditional hotel soap, conditioner/shampoo, wash rag/towels, etc. But, the icing on the cake! No TP (toilet paper) SURPRISE! We of course went to Walmart & Dollar Tree for the essentials. Other notable mentions are: The small ass refrigerator w/ black electrical tape inside, the plentiful crunchy antique motif, the typical rusty shower rod, beige/yellowish 3 piece bathroom located directly next to the kitchen (GROSS!) I'm sure there's much more that I have repressed, but overall $700 for the memories was worth it. I WOULD NEVER give that family any business. So I actually rated this place on booking.com under Cabrera and rated it pretty fairly I thought, but apparently the owner disagreed originally I gave it a better rating because of the closeness to the beach and decently clean. However, as I stated in my review on booking.com the owners extremely rude. The place is very outdated including the kitchen. The photos are nothing and I mean nothing like they look online. If you put a review that the owner doesn't agree with, he calls you insults you calls you a liar and slams the phone down on you. It's unfair that you can't respond to the owner's comments on booking.com where he decided to call me a liar. Well, this place is extremely outdated. The stove is from the 1990s at best. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Only bedroom out of the two bedrooms had AC. I booked a place with a bunk bed that I did not receive and was told it was on a first come first serve basis which is not stated in the rental agreement. But it was my daughter's 16th birthday and she really wanted to stay at the beach and since they refused to give us a refund after we saw the room and was not happy with it, we decided to stick it out me and my partner ended up sleeping on the terribly uncomfortable pull-out couch while the children each got a room because I was not going to make my 9-year-old son sleep with my 16-year-old daughter. And honestly, if you don't want to take my word for it, there are plenty of other reviews that I should have read before booking this place again. The area is good but extremely outdated. Extremely rude owner. Hardly any parking whatsoever. There are photos that people have posted and those are the true photos of what most of their apartments look like. We stayed here in June 2024. We rented the efficiency apartment. It was advertised as 2 queen beds. But they were double beds. The little kitchen was nice but the lighting was really bad. There should have been a light above the sink or on the wall. But we managed. It was pretty close to the beach and boardwalk, that made it nice. Also it was advertised we would have a private porch area. We had to share it with a large group of college students. They were pretty good kids. But when they were on the porch area we had no room to sit. So we just made the most of it. read more

We are very happy with our stay here. This is our second visit to Nock Apartments and we just decided this is going to be an annual stop. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. They are not charging 5 star resort accommodations pricing, so you shouldn't expect a 5 start room. So what do you get and what can you expect? Well we rented a studio apartment this year, it's a second floor unit with a nice sized kitchenette, very decently appointed bathroom, two double beds, and a dresser with Tv. The parking situation can get tight, but at Nock they have lots around each of their buildings and as long as you use common sense are are courteous to your fellow travelers, then you shouldn't have any problems. Parking here was a wiser than at the other hotel we stayed at the night before we got to check in. The owners are amazingly friendly people, wished me well on my way to urgent care for a bee sting I got before coming on vacation, checked up and asked how I was doing. They're really great people, so the negative reviews about them is really upsetting. We couldn't be happier with this visit, and it's not even over yet. read more

I loved the location of these apartments, super closed to the boardwalk. The problem started when I checked in. Management/ owners (Alma) could be a little more pleasant. When checking in they couldn't find my reservation, they couldn't find it because I told them my name was spelled wrong and they staples my info to someone else's. The room was just ok! There were something's that I thought could use some improvement like the shower head sits low. I'm 5'2 and was close to being taller then the shower head. Trying to get in and out of the parking lot was pure HELL! It was super tight and small, you just have to hope and pray you didn't anyone's car or vice versa. read more

If you want to pay $700+ for a night of camping, then this is your place. I can handle dirt and grit...when I'm camping but with a charge of close to $1600 for 2 nights, I expect a little more. The sheets were visibly dirty. When they say to bring your own supplies, they mean EVERYTHING. No towels, trash bags, soap. Most condos that we've rented in the past have had at least some necessities on hand to get you started until you make it to the store, like toilet paper and soap. Not here. There were ants and hair left in the tub. part of the tile was missing in the kitchen and the smoke alarm was missing in a bedroom. The bathroom door didn't lock let alone close all the way which led to a meltdown from our teen daughter. When we got there we found out there was no heat, no sheets, no towels, no washcloths, no toilet paper, no paper products at all. No coffee pot. Refrigerator didn't shut tight and toilet seat was broken and pinched your legs everytime you sat down. Mostly when we got home there was a charge on my debit card because they said someone smoked in our room and no one did. When I code to talk to them they were not even negotiable to talk to me they had an attitude about being right. They said they had tried to call me like seven times but I had calls yesterday but it was an unknown private number so I did not answer it. They sent me a picture of what they thought was ashes on the table and it is sugar from candy that we had rock candy. Please if your trying to save money this place seem reasonable but it's not worth a $1 a night. This place is like a half-way home that being rented out as a hotel. Called Angelo, he immediately became argumentative, came to the apartment to "see the evidence ", of which I had two of the bedbugs on a napkin. He would not give a full refund, only a refund for the night that we did not spend there as we left that morning. My sister desperately needed the wifi password due to the poor connectivity she was experiencing on her cell phone at your establishment. However, the son of the owner was most unyielding and refused after several requests to give us this needed information. As a result, my sister's very important child custody case was tossed out. My sister's only son was murdered and she was trying to get her grandson because his life is in danger. How dare you not honor such a simple request. Who does that? In this day and age especially by an ocean, internet connectivity is spotty at best. Of course, people would rely on wifi to stabilize their signal. This is a poor way to treat your guests. My family and I stayed here last week. We even brought our dog. This rental was perfect for our beach vacation. It was steps away from the boardwalk and beach. The apartment was clean and updated. The owners were absolutely wonderful, accomidating and super friendly. We always had a parking spot after going out and coming back. I booked my stay here back in early May for March 6-10th. I was initially charged the first nights stay of $150. Due to the Corona virus, they were closed so I was forced to cancel my trip in April. I emailed them over (4) four times about getting my refund and never got a response. I tried calling and there was no answer. I called for the (3) third time a week or two later and finally someone picked up. The guy was super rude and responded with an attitude saying he couldn't help me because I called on a Friday and he was busy then hung up. Their website now currently states, "Starting April 6, 2020, your chosen cancellation policy will apply, regardless of the coronavirus. We recommend booking an option with free cancellation in case your travel plans change. My cancellation happened before this date and that statement was not on their website at the time. I understand that the virus has made things difficult for everyone, but they could have easily responded to any of my emails stating they were working on it or to please be patient while they sorting out bookings. I still haven't received my refund from 2 months ago. I definitely don't recommend staying here to anyone based on their terrible customer service. read more

Great place to stay for a family on a budget. The location was amazing. This is by far the best value in Ocean city rentals. You are literally 30 seconds off the beach. Restaurants entertainment etc.. it's all right there at half the cost. The apartments are cute, small and accommodating. The place is older but has been well maintained and the owners are on site at all times so you always feel comfortable leaving, that your stuff is safe. Filthy Con Artists This is the worst customer service in the world. First of all, they are horribly understaffed on the phone. The man I've spoke to on the phone twice (once while booking, once while cancelling) didn't seem to know anything about his own place or the English language. He told me he had to hang up because he was "busy with checking customers in". I called at 1:00pm to cancel and the check in time on booking.com says 3:00pm. Nock apartments initially told me that it was okay to fit my party (5) into a one bedroom apartment (for 2 people). I needed to cancel this reservation after reading other reviews about this place. I was worried they would charge us for five people in the two person room, which is what other reviews have said. I asked to cancel two weeks and a day before the reservation, and they would not refund the cancellation fee associated with the reservation. He claimed that the cancellation fee does not charge anything other than processing fees from the time you book up until two weeks prior to your reservation. Yet I am supposed to pay for the cancellation fee (first night of stay), if I cancel a day before the two week period. I made the reservation through booking.com, called booking.com and asked if I could get refunded on their website for the reservation, and booking.com told me that the cancellation fee is hotel policy (nock apartments). I called nock apartments and they claimed that booking.com would get the money for the cancellation fee, which is against what booking.com stated. Booking.com also stated that Nock Apartments has called them and warned them to not call Nock apartments about cancellation fees. Find another place read more

Expect to be treated like dirt by hostile, rude staff. I'd give zero stars if I could. I never even made it as far as arriving at the hotel. Made the booking through hotels.com. I needed to make a change to the reservation so I called hotels.com. Whoever the agent spoke to was told I, myself, needed to call the hotel, but not right that moment because they were too busy. The next morning I called and was told again to call back later because they were too busy. When I finally spoke to someone, a very rude, loud, angry person told me I needed to change it with hotels.com because they were who I was doing business through. Back and forth we go until my simple request was achieved, but not before the angry person at the hotel rudely hung up on me. A few days go by and I get a call from the same woman, asking for my credit card number because there was some issue. Wait, hold on, I thought I was supposed to transact through hotels.com. I tell her I'll clear it up with hotels.com. Again, the person is awful to me on the phone, outright hostile to me, demanding my CC info or threatening to cancel the reservation, which is exactly what she did, leaving me in the lurch for a week long vacation two days before I hit the road. Not only did they blame the group I was with for a leak in their floor, or the mold in the air filter that hasn't been cleaned for what looks like years that made 3 people sick, but the beds were itchy and uncomfortable, the owner and maids yell and blame everything on the purchasers, and the one pull out sofa bed was higher in the middle, and would have killed you due to blood flow to the brain due to how low it was on the sides. They also attempt to scam you into parking, and the cops around will look for every single car to put a ticket onto even at 7am! I went there to check in with my family, and the man started yelling saying you need to pay more the apartment is only for 7 people. He was yelling and using bad words, then the lady came in, she was even worse. She said we only paid for 7 when i had confirmation and everything stating the reservation for 14. We were ready to pay more if that was stated before bt when we were there at 3 to check in they saying the apartment is not enough for 14 is not what a customer expects. The lady was so mean and rude and i could not even talk with her when i was so polite with her, so i called the cops and let them handle the situation. The owners don't know how to do business, they should not be allowed to run a business with such a poor customer service. I didn't stay there at all and got full refund, called hotel.com and they got us such a nice apartment. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy their vacation. 2 words accurately describe my experience staying here--despicable & underwhelmed. My stay began with meeting the "owners" or managers of the apartments and one of them telling me to come to their office "now" if I needed to check in because she had somewhere to go. Not quite sure what kind of customer service that was, but that definitely was a first for me. Then we had to wait 30 minutes before we could check in because they were bringing linens for the room--mind you we did NOT check in early. The linens came an hour later. Upon entering the room we were met with a completely different room layout than we reserved that looked absolutely nothing like what was on the website. Rooms were tiny and there were only 2 beds and a pull out (was supposed to be one bed, a bunkbed and a pullout). Then there were so many flies everywhere--it was really gross. The water pressure in the shower was like a low power sprinkler and the hot water was hard to come by. The icing on the cake was the man that was either an owner or manager there who screamed at us for being "loud". All the while two of our neighbors were blasting music OUTSIDE. We were told, and I quote "clean this damn mess up, what the hell is this" when he came to the door. We had 2 bottles in the room (we are over 21 on vacation) and our luggages in the family room(because the rooms were too small to hold them). Shortly after I was walking behind him and overheard him say "they are animals they are not people". I'll let you decipher what you think he intended with that comment. Overall the service was deplorable and living arrangements underwhelming. We had two cars and one of us had to park across the street in their Parking lot and they charged us 70$ for 2 days. I do NOT recommend staying here. NEVER STAY HERE. We paid $950 for two nights. We could have slept in the car and been more comfortable. Never again. read more

Booked an apartment through booking.com for 7/3 noting arrival time between 12-1am around 2pm that day for $285.10. We were planning to leave later that night because we have 3 children and it's easier to travel at night and holiday traffic. We planned on spending the whole next day (7/4) in ocean city 3 hours away. I sent an email using the email the confirmation provided asking if they offered a later check out at 7:27pm. I received nothing back. I got a call from the owner at 10:46 pm asking what time we would be arriving. I let him know that we were getting ready to head out and it a 3 hour drive and starts yelling about how the front office closed at 9pm and now he has to pay someone to sit and wait around for us to show up. I asked if there was a lock box on the door that we could put the key in. He said no and told me I wouldn't be able to find it. He wanted an exact time of arrival and I couldn't provide that having 3 kids you don't know for sure you won't have any issues on the drive. He starts yelling to someone else and and he would have to call me back. I asked if this was how he treated all customers and he chastised me because we only booked for one night and were arriving so late. I told him I noted it on the booking and he ranted again about the office being closed.At that point I asked him to refund the money and we would go somewhere else (I was no longer comfortable having to see this man in person) he told me he wouldn't give me anything back because we wasted his night. I ended hanging up because he was just ranting at this point. I called the customer service number for booking.com do see if they could assist and they confirmed that i did note the time of arrival at the time of booking but the owner may not have seen that note. They offered to see if they could help with the owner because I did provide that info. No luck. I understand that he lost a night, had he seen the note or handled it differently it would have been different. He waited until 10:45pm to call and then was aggressive and angry. Possibly the worst experience I have ever had with a property in that area. I would caution anyone who is thinking of staying there to reconsider. read more

PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO STAY AT NOCK APARTMENTS. Our stay was disappointing to say the least. My friends and I decided to stay at the Nock Apartments in HOPES of a delightful senior week experience . Unfortunately we were met with quite the opposite. The first of many problems came during the first night of our stay when the owner of the establishment came and pinned the blame of a leaky floor on us and claiming that as teenagers we "don't care". The blatant age discrimination should have been the first warning to my group and I of a terrible rest of the week, yet we did not heed the warnings. Later into the trips duration 3 of my friends including I, came down with an unknown sickness. After deliberation over dinner we decided to check for the silent killer. MOLD. Evidentially we found it potent in our air filter as well as all along the closet walls. After sleeping on the atrocious, dirty, and less than undesirable pill out bed for a night, it was time to check out. Checkout being at 10 their staff was not in the office until 9:45. After cleaning the apartment my friend and I went to notify the owners about the mold, the illness it caused, and return our keys. Politely telling the owners about this they replied with an insulting "do you know why this happens? It's probably something you learned about in school. It's called condensation". The degrading nuances in the statement he made about the mold showed no remorse and leads me to believe that there will be no resurrection or correction in the issue of mold in the apartments. To close, aside from the ignorant and aggressive renters and the dirty, unkept apartments, I suggest that the Nock Apartment owners find new ownership to take over and renovate. read more

Please do not go here. We rented the 4 br/2bath apartment. I knew the place was on the older side since we stayed there about 20 years ago. When I called I asked if there were updates made and was assured that they were new owners and EVERYTHING was updated. You can tell from the pictures that it is old - which is not a problem for us. If it was clean and well taken care of it would have been a great place. I have to say the only reason we went with this place was because we had a big group and we were bringing our two small dogs. BUT now it is old AND rundown. There was a mail slot (approx. 12" long and 5" wide) in one of the bedroom doors stuffed with paper towels...if you took them out you could see into the room from outside!! There were padlocks on some interior doors, just hanging - I guess just in case they separated the rooms to rent??? The other bedroom had a sliding lock that was broke - the morning we were leaving (before check out) the cleaning lady came into the room while my daughter was laying in bed! No knock, nothing!! The kitchen pots and pans are horrendous - I can understand not getting grade A but this was garbage! And dirty!!! I cleaned everything I used prior to using it. The dish rack was cracked, the garbage pail was cracked, the dust pan was cracked - these are dollar store items - give me a break! The microwave was disgusting - when you used it a smell came from it as if it were on fire. The stove and fridge worked. Their pictures are DECEIVING! The rooms are half the size of the pics! If they spent the time they used angling the camera to get the rooms to look better they could have made some real improvements!! The furniture is old and musty. The dining room and kitchen look NOTHING like the pictures they are old & crappy. One bedroom had such a bad odor we had to buy deodorizers and leave the AC on 24/7 or the smell was unbearable....We could not talk over the noise of the AC in this room when we arrived - - which the owner did replace after we complained about the AC, the non existent hot water in one of the bathrooms and the non existent HBO and other channels listed on their site. He actually got into an argument with my husband saying "no one else is complaining about the hot water - why are you?" The water never got past warm, 7 people showering in one bathroom - not the greatest on a beach vacation. We discovered that the outdoor shower hot water got hotter than our shower in the one bathroom! The shower that we could use had what looked like tape on the bottom of the tub in a big X... also, moldy shower curtains and the toilet was slow - if you did #2 you had to hold it forever and then re-flush... One bedroom had a giant "bubble" in the ceiling as I there was a flood at one time and the water was sitting in the ceiling waiting to fall through! There seemed to be many building codes being violated in this property along with all the other "small stuff". Thank goodness they tell you to bring your own bedding because I would never have slept on theirs feeling comfortable - this place made me itch - I did check for bed bugs and did not notice any - guess that was one plus - but there were other tiny bugs flying/jumping around that my husband thinks were mites...needless to say everything was washed prior to bringing it into my house afterwards. There was garbage and dirty laundry thrown outside the back entrance of the development - by the cleaning people! There were broken AC units tossed and stacked in the back also. The location of the place is Excellent. That is the ONLY good thing I can say positive about this place. It is a shame because with some replacements, a really good cleaning, fixing the crazy mail slot and locks, and honest pics so you know what you are getting, this place could be decent. But I don't think the owners care about their property or their renters-no pride-just out to pull a fast one on honest, hard working people. It was impossible to find another place to stay once we were there or we would have left. I read (after our stay) one person say Nock apartments should be KNOCKED down - we agree! I have pictures of everything and hope I can post them here. Do not stay here - keep looking for somewhere else! Ocean City MD is a beautiful place for families to come and have fun - don't start it off at Nock apartments! We did have a great vacation outside of the apartment. for the money you will spend on this place you can definitely find something better. They never cleaned the sheets from the previous guests. We found a hair in the ice cube wedged right in the middle. I sat on the couch and got poked by a needle that was protruding out. The pictures on the website are nothing compared to what it looks like. They couldn't even find our receipt from the online payment. They jacked my friend $200 off her card and never explained previously about what it was going to be for. We also had to pay and additional $90 because "too many guests" were staying there. This apartment is very nice. It was clean upon arrival, the office staff is helpful and quick to respond. It it only about 25-30 steps from the boardwalk. My only complaints are they are dog friendly (yeah!) but they do not have nice maintained grass for my dog to do her business on. Even a small patch would do. I have to walk to a neighboring hotel to let her do her business. Also, our door has a massive gap in the bottom of it; it's about 3/4 of an inch thick at the bottom, and it spans about 3/4 of the door. It lets in heat and it's just a privacy hazard if you ask me. A terrible excuse of a 2 star Apartment. If Yelp would allow it it would be a 0 star review. FALSE ADVERTISMENT Online listing state it was a studio apartment with a seperate living area with its own kitchen and full size fridge. Also stated 2 beds and a couch and that there would be a balcony. Wasn't an apartment in any way. It was a small cramped bedroom smaller than the average living room The kitchen was a tiny little space made up of a tiny sink and an electric burner. We got a mini fridge. Two beds no couch and a shared balcony with the neighbors with some very cheap chairs. The staff was rude. The manager/owner came out to harasses my friends with no shirt on. Very unprofessional. The Price kept increase after every talk. Started off at 378 listing and after the trip was over it reached very close to 600. For 2 nights. Worst of all NO WIFI. Come on its 2018. My friends booked this room for 5days 4 nights to enjoy Cruisin OC. Once we arrived to check in no one was at the office, but seconds later Alma pulled up and checked us in.. There is only one free parking that we were entitled to but Alma explain sometimes we can find parking on the side street, but if we move our car we can lose our parking spot. We were lucky and was able to get the side street parking for the second car. Alma did not walk us to the room, she pretty much told us where to go.. We were on the third floor. We had the balcony on the side, and had great view on all cars. That was the only thing that was good about this place and pretty much enjoyed being outside! Once we enter the room it felt very damp, wet, there were days where our clothing that was in our luggage felt wet, our slippers even felt moist... The furniture wasn't the best, it was dark and old. I actually placed a cardboard on the kitchen table chair when I had to sit inside. The refrigerator door handle was broken, stove was decent, and the sink was decent but the faucet handles where bad and old. The bathroom was new, toilet was in a tight space and shower was the same.. The bedroom that I stood in had no AC, but the other bedroom did where my friends slept at. After seeing the entire place the first thing I did was disinfect door handles, bathroom sink, toilet, and shower, then I did the kitchen area where we would have contact with. After disinfecting, I then went to my bedroom, removed the hotel comforter and pillows off the bed to check for bed bugs. What I usually do is lift the top mattress only And check for any signs of bedbugs. 3rd day Friday morning we saw this bug crawling on the hotel comforter which I had left on the floor.. The only reason we saw it was because the comforter bottom part was white , if the bug was crawling on the carpet we would of never caught it because it was dark...we kept telling ourselves that it wasn't but what IF IT WAS!!! We just spent the rest of our vacation thinking about.. The 4th day Saturday we check again, but this time we lift the box spring up....( The mattress and the box spring had plastic by the way) when my boyfriend lift the heavy ass box spring up I saw that the plastic had a hole.. I saw black stains... And was like No F***ing Way... I made the plastic hole bigger to have a better view and To confirm what i saw i told my boyfriend to check.. And it WAS BED BUGS!!! They are visible only Under the plastic cover!!! Owner probably had this problem and to cover it up they put plastic covers on the mattress and box spring instead of replacing them.. My boyfriend and I were lucky we didn't have any bite marks THANKGOD!!! And was so happy it was the last night we had to sleep there... We put everything in 2 Big Heavy duty black bags, sneakers tide in plastic bags and put one of the luggage to garbage.. I spent my entire Sunday evening washing all of our clothing at the Laundromat, spraying the car trunk and my entire apartment!! I will never stay at this hotel. Bad experience, lesson learned on how to check for bugs and if my friends book before i do I will be reading reviews online!!!! On google 9 months ago I read a review about bedbugs.. Sorry for the long post, but I just had to share as I would never want someone to ruin their last few day of vacation. I rented for my daughter and friends. The couple seemed very nice. Apartments weren't very nice but that was ok for teeenagers. The guy was rude when talking to the kids using derogatory words and yelling obscenities at them at times. When I contacted about the deposit back they charged $40 cleaning fee and $40 for a lost key that was never lost. They only received 1 key upon check in and returned 1 key. I've contacted them several times and get no response. Very disappointing. I was hoping to rent from them the next few years but will not and will not recommend. Will be co texting higher authorities down there about this. Sad they rip off young kids. They were very respectful and followed all the rules yet got ripped off $40 for a key that was never given to them and a cleaning fee. So many others had complaints too. The website is full of pictures that aren't the apartments they offer. I will let the process begin with the magestrste down there to have this handled. read more

This place was absolutely horrible. I would not recommend it to anyone. The landowners are just trying to steal your money. Honestly, when we first got there we were promised free parking and turns out you only receive one parking space and any extra cost $100 to park in a gravel lot next to it. Then we had to wear purple wristbands for the entire week like we were children. Oh and by the way if you plan to have any guests forget about it! Anyone who comes after 9 pm is charged $40 and even if they come before 9, Angelo will make sure to check up on you. The invasion of privacy is ridiculous. Also, I'm pretty sure the landowners never intended to give back our security deposit from the start. The first day we got there, one of my friends closed the bathroom door forcefully and the table leg fell! In no way was that our fault, it was probably broken before we even got there and they just put it back up. And at check out Angelo's wife yelled at us for breaking it as if it was our fault that the place is so busted. And if you plan on showering, make sure to bring many towels to clean up the flooding. The location is good, close to the beach. Definitely a low budget motel. The accomidations are not great. Furnature is not very comfortable and there is rarely and warm water (get used to cold showers for the week). Parking is a real pain. The staff was rude from the start. When we came to check in nobody would answer the door or any of the phone numbers. We stood outside for about 15 minutes before she came to the door. They were unaccommodating, and never available when we needed them. The stove was broken, which was the whole reason we decided on an apartment instead of a hotel room. The floors were disgusting, and the utensils and kitchenware available were dirty and greasy. There was not enough parking for everybody that was staying, we ended up having to ask a hotel across the street for permission to park in their lot. When it came to checkout, the staff wasn't even in the offices to check us out. They weren't answering any of the given phone numbers. When they finally called back, we were told that we were supposed to take the trash out to dumpsters behind the building, which I have no problem doing except for the fact that we were not informed of any checkout procedures before that and we had already locked everything up. They then told us to just put our key in the mailbox. Overall, I give this place two thumbs down. For all the crap we had to deal with, it was not worth the $134/night that we paid. I'm not one to usually write a review but this felt necessary. My friends and I are currently staying here for the week. We haven't even been here for 24 hours and have already encountered many problems. First, a minor problem, the website said they would supply glassware and utensils and we got here and found none. We called and they said they did not supply them for younger customers since we were here for senior week, which I understand. We just wish we were told before hand so we could have brought some. Second, the apartment was not very clean and one of the drawers on the dresser in the bedroom is broken. The biggest problem we had was the kitchen. The main reason we decided to stay at Nock Apartments was because of the full kitchen. None of the appliances work! The oven does not tell you the temperature, the toaster doesn't work at all, the coffee maker started leaking, and the microwave sparked when we tried using it. Also, we found ants in the kitchen! Overall, this place is over priced for its bad quality. Don't waste your money! read more
