Condo 103 was beautiful!!Overlooked the playground & courts. Also, great view of the ocean!! My only negative was 2nd bathroom: too small & tub/shower in need of replacement. Also, no safety bar. (Shower curtain was moldy) Kitchen amenities were awesome!! Everything you need. Don't 4get your own sheets, towels, tp, & paper products. Beautiful pool, also indoor pool. Even enjoyed a movie in the cinema! Close to stores & restaurants. Had a wonderful vacation!! read more

The check-in process was smooth and straightforward, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the condition of apartment 417 significantly impacted our stay. The bathroom appeared to be the only area that had been thoroughly cleaned. The BEDROOMS and several other areas had a HEAVY BUILDUP OF DUST in places that should have been addressed before our arrival. We also found items and REMNANTS FROM PREVIOUS GUEST left behind in drawers, which gave us the impression that the apartment had not been carefully inspected between stays. There were also maintenance concerns. The wheels on the sliding screen door were visibly rusted, and the screen eventually came off the track during our stay. MOST CONCERNING, one of the guests staying in the bedroom closest to the front door experienced multiple bites that appeared consistent with BED BUGS. While the location and check-in experience were positive, the cleanliness, maintenance, and possible pest issue overshadowed those positives. The property would benefit greatly from a thorough deep cleaning, a more detailed inspection between guests, and immediate attention to the bedroom where the bites occurred. read more

SEAWATCH 1111: 10 years at Seawatch. Average condo. Newer floors, Newer countertop. No Vacuum, no iron. Very limited storage in master bedroom. Internet wasn't very high speed. Full bed in bedroom, not queen like advertised. Laundry room was packed with boogie boards. i had to take them all out do laundry. Amazing place, comfy beds, AC blew cold air and it was right on the beach! The indoor pool was a hit, especially since we had two rainy days. They have a cafe called "My Place" where you can order breakfast, lunch and ice cream. It's right across the street from a movie theater, grocery store and restaurants. Overall, our stay was a complete nightmare. My mother-in-law caught her leg on the bed frame sticking out. She was bleeding. Not pleasant at all. Terrible sleeping experience. Not one mattress was comfortable. Outdated everything. The old television and missing fire stick made the room experience lacking. The windows were not double pane so all the traffic was heard at night. We could not run the microwave while watching tv, and using the WiFi and attempt plug anything into the outlet near the oven. Had to reset from the electrical box. Also, blinds were awful at keeping out the lights from the bustling street below and morning sun. The doors on the balconies were faulty and did not lock too well. We also have little children and there were a couple cautions that we steered them away from. A hole next to the stairs and the patio access in all the bedrooms. It was not ideal security-wise. Especially in the kids room where there is an open door to the entire floor. We would not stay here again or recommend to anyone we liked. The only thing it has is close proximity to the beach. When booking we thought we wouldn't care or stay in the room a lot. But the bad parts stuck out and made the vacation harder to enjoy.FYI I do not trust a lot of reviews on here. read more

Been staying at the sea watch for about 12 years now not sure if I've ever given a review before not. it's a great location with lots of amenities inside the building indoor and outdoor pool a kiddy pool movie theater gym sauna room with pool table a game room basketball court & playground. There's a great little café inside the building called My Place. Very nice people that own it and the people that work there are great too. But this year we just got back from a weeks vacation in June and I just felt like maybe because there's so many condos in the building that there's more room for aholes than usual. I've just never felt like coming back from vacation that I met so many rude and nasty people in one place and I've stated at just about every condominium on the Gold Coast. read more

Three stars for the Sea Watch Condo. It looks like it's trying to be some type of resort but it fell short for me. To be honest, it made me feel like I didn't want to go out on the beach at all. I felt pent up in the room. Maybe if vacationing with small kids it would be a better idea. - First arriving: it's $50 per car to park In the garage. Ok. NP.. The process to check in and get a paper sign permitting you to park is from the Flintstones Era. The garage employees were nice, but there's a LINE of people waiting to turn In papers and money while other Dingos hold up the line to stand there and fill out the paperwork. Grab the paperwork, fill it out. Come back and get in line. Would be so much faster. I mean come on its 102 degrees out here!! They need a ticket puncher and crossing bar. -They have two types of luggage carts. I'm practical and didn't need to use any of those, however some people dumped all their clothes and belongings in them. No luggage. Just dumped stuff Into a blue rolling cart. It looked cheap and dirty. And they took up a LOT of room in the already slow elevators. We were on the 13th floor. How many times did we wait more than 11 min for the elevator? Not kidding. Then to find when the door opens, it's a couple people with the enormous blue carts! What in the actual hell is going on here? That dissuaded me from wanting to go to the beach 2x a day. It was awful. -Amenities were nice. Tennis, volleyball playground, movie theater, billiards room, sauna, workout room, indoor and outdoor pool plus a kid sprinkler area and an arcade. Arcade at $1 per play. I played 5x and that was my cap. $1 per play. Come on! The leaf blowers, even up on the 13th floor, mind you, sounded like they were sawing trees outside my bedroom. Thanks for that. It seemed non stop for at least 2 of my 5 days. The unit was small. I did like it but remember who you're with and your toleration limit! Tvs in every room. Nice size kitchen. There was no noise or stomping to be heard from any surrounding units. The unit was clean enough and didnt have any issues like another Yelper described, however I can understand their situation. I liked the faucets and showers on the beach ramp. We had a view of the ocean front and the street so it worked out overall. My preference is some thing further North like Barefoot Country. Rustic and a lot less people around. I also enjoyed last years location better as well. The Golden Sands. . read more

Nice complex. Plenty of amenities. Pool, indoor pool, kiddie pool, playground, arcade, gym, etc. The bars on the balconies are a bit to far apart which is nerve wrecking if you have small children. The water in the kiddie pool was hot. Warmer than I bathe my kids in. Each unit has its own laundry and there are beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. in the laundry room that you can use. We did have some issues with our specific unit not be cleaned properly however that's not a reflection on the complex. There were mouse bait stations in our apartment. I appreciate the fact that they were trying however I wish I had known as we had an 11 month old with us and of course his mouth found them before I did. Our neighbors did let us know they had a mouse run through their apartment. read more

Writing this review about the 1718 unit specifically. I came here with my wife's family who have been coming here for years. They were incredibly excited to continue their family tradition, and I was eager to be a part of their annual tradition. Unfortunately this unit was dramatically lower in quality than what was expected. Immediately upon entering it was evident that the unit wasn't cleaned. There was dirt all over the floors, bathrooms had hair on the floors and urine stains on the toilet, media equipment was scattered covered in dust and in disarray, and unfortunately the list goes on. Our family immediately called down to the front desk and started to clean and organize what they could. Though the staff was apologetic, all they offered was a quick surface level wipe down along with inaccurate statements around the condo being "scrubbed down" prior to our arrival. As we explored the condo, comforters had been shoved in dresser doors and under beds, faucets were leaking, TVs weren't fully operational, and our discoveries continued through our vacation. I'm not giving this place one star only because the location is fantastic (right on the beach), and I know there are units that are better. That being said, our family was incredibly disappointed that the staff would even permit someone from accessing this unit. read more

Unit 900 is great! We are completely oceanfront and the extremely oversize balcony was definitely the highlight. The unit is very large, air-conditioner works amazingly, the kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of, and the living room/dining room held all of us. The Decour is kind of strange. The 1970s green leather couches and the 1970s flowery window curtains are very odd. But, those are just minor for us. The pool area is very large and very well-kept. Although we do not use the movie theater it definitely is a great idea for rainy days. Speaking of rainy days, our weather forecasted several during our stay but we received none. Hooray! I did give the overall condominium 4 instead of 5 stars. Seriously? There is no bar. The atrium/courtyard in the front of the condominium would be a great place for tiki bar and or maybe some live music. It's really just wasted space. We need to resort to walking across the street to green turtle or going to a Nother condominium that has a bar. Overall, I believe we will definitely be staying here next year, hopefully in the same unit. read more

Check in on Saturday is chaotic. Parking is a mess, and the people they have to "direct" you are untrained, uninformed or uncaring. (Need more training, better management.) After that stress, expect to pay more for parking places while here. (Gouging more $$$ from you.) No maps of the facilities or description of what is available was provided at check in. Overall arrival experience was a terrible start to our relaxing vacation at OC. Condo was dated and worn, but OK. Perfectly suitable for a family beach vacation. (Each condo appears individually owned, you could get better or worse than we had.) We were on top floor, 2 story condo. Beautiful views! Weird floor plan though, loft design has master BR open to family room below. Avoid this condo/bedroom if someone will want to go to bed before others are ready to call it a day. Refrigerator didn't work well, needed to be replaced or serviced. Kitchen was well stocked, plates, etc. Elevators are very slow and often crowded. Location on the beach is excellent, though the beach is very crowded here. People go out early and save their space with towels, umbrellas, and popup tents. Tennis, a swimming pool, basketball, movies, video games, and more. Many things for family entertainment are onsite. Good restaurants within walking distance, another plus. Tried pizza delivery one night, that pizza was horrible. read more

1408 don't ever rent this unit. We rented from Coldwell Banker and it was awful. We have been going to Ocean City for 27 years, this was my worst experience. There was mold in the bathroom, the toilet doesn't work, and you don't have hot water for two minutes in the shower. The unit is for sale for $334,000 but it needs about $80,000 for the updates. Rent some other place from Century 21 in the same building though, because the amenities are nice. read more

stayed in unit 1904 at Sea Watch the week of September 11th 2022 I must say the complex it self was very clean and the staff was very courteous. the reason for 3 stars deals more with the unit itself I found the unit to not be very clean(a dirty diaper under bed, food under couch) at all even though their were notes from the owners everywhere as to what they expected, the kitchen was nice the views were awesome but the cleanliness again was an issue the thermostats have lock boxes around them so if your hot or cold you can not do anything about it. a group of us have been coming down every year for bike week and this unit was a disappointment we have stayed at far nicer places for less money and will look elsewhere in the future. read more

I would like to tell my story regarding my terrible experience with renting through Coldwell Banker and the owners of UNIT 409. My husband, myself, and son are all 1st Responders (EMT/Fight fighters). We always stay the last week in June during the annual fire convention. This year, we are working very long hours due to the unforeseen coronavirus. Also, the convention was canceled. Due to these reasons, we are not able to stay in unit 409 the last week in June. I reached out to Coldwell Banker 6 weeks ago and was told owners of Sea Watch Units were deferring to later dates and even the following year (2021). At the time, I was going to defer; however, the agent at Coldwell advised me to try to get the cancellation through my travel insurance. I submitted a claim and still waiting to hear back (6 weeks). I do not know if it will be covered. With the uncertainty, I reached out to get a deferment to next year the same week for fire convention. I was told the owners of UNIT 409 did do courtesy defers for other renters. The owners have decided KNOWING we are 1st responders and our situation, that they WILL NOT defer to next year. I was told via email and that they would allow deferring to later dates possible this year. I then tried to defer to a long weekend in August which is currently available; however, the owners of UNIT 409 have stressed that they WILL NOT defer to any other date, and I must either utilized my original week or cancel and possibly lose $995. Unfortunately, we are not able to get time off of work as we are in high demand due to the virus. I feel the owners of UNIT 409 need to realize that they may one day need a 1st res-ponder, and I know we would be there and help. You are going to lose money because my family and I would have rented from you every year during the convention. NOW, I will NEVER rent from you nor, Coldwell Banker and Sea Watch. Thanks for the terrible treatment and I would NEVER recommend renting from UNIT 409. read more

I've been coming to Sea Watch for several years now. My girlfriend's parents own a condo on the 6th floor so we spend a lot of extended weekends and holidays here. One of the main things that sets this place apart from the rest is you have both an ocean AND a bay view. All units have a big balcony. The amenities are endless...indoor pool, outdoor pool, baby pool, tennis courts, volley ball court, gym, movie theater, game room, billiard room, and more! Free parking in a safe and secure garage. Grounds are very well maintained. There's even a little ice cream shop on the first level. Excellent place for families, couples or just friends enjoying all that OCMD has to offer. Minutes to all the best bars and restaurants. There's a mall, grocery store and beer/wine/liquor store directly across the street. Trust in when I say this is a GREAT place to stay! Like anywhere, some units are updated and modern and some are not. It all depends on who you're renting from. Like any time you travel I would suggest doing your homework. There are plenty of people in this building with beautiful condos and it's a great place to be. read more

Rented unit 507, very dated, '70's Chic we called it! Not very clean, shower curtains all had mold so their cleaning service sucks too. It was cheap, $625 for 9/2 to 9/9 but add all the realtor fees makes it $850. Paying $40 to park sucks too and the smoking areas are awful. I understand having smoking areas but by the dog shit park is not cool!! Says heated pools but I don't consider 70 degrees heated at all. Only thing going for this place is the location. Some condos are nice but the staff act like Nazis read more

Stay @ sea watch & travel back in time!! The condo was horribly dated...microwave didn't work right, the oven had buttons to push to turn it on and the master bathroom...just, ancient!! The shower head fell off during our stay...guess they only last SOOO long!! Nothing like paying 2200+ for the week & having to pony up to park too...and the fact that you have to 'rent' the moving carts just screams 'gouging'!!! And sure, they have a gym but the guy said, 'you have ONE hour with the key or we'll come find you...' And he wasn't kidding! Add to that crowded pools & crazy crowded beach and you have sea watch!! We rented Unit 1001 in July. We'd rent again. Unit was solidly adequate for our needs with 2 kids under 5, we had leftover room for our stuff and a short visit from the grandparents. Had a king master, queen guest room and 2 twins in the den plus a sleeper sofa. Ameneties are nice. Pool has sun and shade. Baby pool has nice sprinklers and chairs. Cafe onsite. We rented from Century 21. They weren't overly helpful, but weren't terrible. But we had no issues so hard to say if they'd have helped if needed. Except for not reminding us about the parking fee; we almost got towed. We stayed at the Carousel last year- Sea Watch wins hands down. Much nicer overall than the Carousel (hotel suites) despite the cleaning in the sea watch unit being a little less great than it should have been upon arrival; 8/10 on that. Other negative was on the North side of the building and up front we are right above the beach volleyball court. It's currently 11pm and they've been loud for about an hour now. Hoping they'll quiet down soon-annoying. read more

We have been staying at the Sea Watch for over 20 years and this is by far the WORST place we have stayed in. To start the refrigerator is horrible, doesn't keep anything cold, more like cool. We had to go out and buy bags of ice because the ice maker made about 10-12 cubes in 8 hours (clearly not enough for a family of 4). The hot water heater either needs to be turned up or replaced. We had to wait at least 30 minutes in between showers. The cook ware in this unit is TERRIBLE too. No non-stick pans, hardly any knives. The TV in the living area is a smaller old tv, no bigger than 24" and OUT DATED. There is a square hole in the drywall 6"x6" in the small bedroom where the duct runs for the AC that has never been patched. I guess they are more worried about collecting their 2000 a week for this unit. I am very disappointed in this unit, as I mentioned previously I have stayed at the Sea Watch for the past 20 years so I know what units are poor, fair, excellent. This unit is terrible, save your money. About the Sea Watch property, they have added a great kids pool for the little ones behind the indoor pool. It has fountains, sprayers, etc and is in the shape of Nemo. They also put a new playground in and still have the pirate ship and castle. The staff at the Sea Watch is still great as always. Very attentive to the lobby, common areas, bathrooms, fountains. read more

COLDWELL had promised on Sunday to come out on Monday to take care of the many issues listed below. They didn't come! More cons: front door only locks sometimes. Shower in master bedroom clogged and you end up standing in water up to your calves Window from laundry room to condo broken so laundry room door has to be consistantly locked Kitchen light works only after playing with switch numerous times. Dishwasher normal cycle only works intermittently Knives all dull, pans old, warped Kitchen vent in ceiling won't close so constant cold air blowing Only 1/2 toaster works and handle broken off Ice maker only works sometimes Paint peeling on deck railings Tiles in house cracked Linen package ordered contained no fitted sheets Although place sleeps 14 only one pillow on full sized beds $5295 for a week's stay Sauna out of order Fold out sofa is unsleepable with bars digging into your back Only One couch and one love seat in living room area Moldy shower Sliders very hard to open and one doesn't lock Missing/broken off blind slats Two drawers in kitchen broken Coffee maker lid broken Only one single rack in bathroom to hang towels. We stayed at Sea Watch 0418 last week. This unit is not rentable! This unit was disgusting! Bunk bed with missing slats and burn marks on mattress, door jam so messed up u can't close the door, hall bath shower cold water faucet broken, mold in master bath, mattress that look like someone was murdered on, no pots and pans worth using, towel bar in hall bath broken, filthy, missing blind slats in master bath, etc. I could go on and on! This unit is not what is advertised online! For the money I spent for the week, it should have been a lot better! My brother also rented a unit and it was beautiful. Had manager in the unit and could only ell me that it was a rental unit. We went for my moms 80th birthday and was so upset all week that my parents had to stay in a slum place like this. I am so sorry to have to give this review. We've been staying at the SeaWatch for 6 years running and our experience has always been great. We usually stay the 2nd week of September but because of school for the little ones we upped it this year to the last week of August. We chose a unit this year managed by Caldwell Bankers because the Century 21 units that were available that week did not fit our needs for a family of 8. First Mistake - renting through Caldwell Bankers rather than Century 21. Century 21 has an office on site for check in and have always been very helpful and hospitable. This year after a 3 hour drive when we went to check in at the Caldwell office I asked to use the bathroom and was told..." 711 has the closest one". Hmmmm not making friends or influencing people with that reply. When I called the "hotline" for a problem with the unit I didn't hear the name of the person who answered at Caldwell. I asked who it was, she repeated her name and said "...NOW can I help you?" As it turned out she never helped us at all. Second Mistake - renting unit 1520. The unit was not horrible per se but it was straight out of 1982. It was dingy and in need of some repairs. It seemed as though NOTHING had been updated since then. The carpet was dirty and old, the TV's were HUGH boxy things (no flat panels to be found) and the DVD and VCR (yes, VCR) did not work. There was WAY too much furniture and wax fruit (YES, I said wax fruit in a bowl) and fake flowers around. There was a tiny table top ironing board and iron but NO hairdryer and no drawers in the bathroom vanity to put toiletries away. We called Caldwell (as we were told to) to ask about a vacuum. We have 4 children with us under 6 and the baby was crawling on this floor. We wanted to vacuum. They said they would contact the owners but no one ever responded to us. This unit is not young children friendly at all. The wicker tables in the living room had glass tops laying on them. Perhaps the original tops had broken but the sharp edges of the glass protruded. Oh, and the showers, my god the showers! The worked but I felt like I was showering under a fire hose. It actually hurt my head and I'm sure I lost a lot of hair because of the intensity of the spray. Lastly, although not really a mistake, I wondered if the building is under new management. The "heated" enclosed pool was freezing and the outdoor pool so cold that it was almost unusable. The only have 1 lifeguard on duty for all 3 pools so she left the doors to the indoor pool open so she could easily go back and forth. This created a freezing draft. If we wanted to freeze our a**** off we would have swam outside. New this year was a "deposit" for the moving carts. Just a headache. You've always had to pay for parking and I guess I just considered that part of the rent. Summary of Observations: Never rent through Caldwell Bankers !!!!!!! Do a better job of vetting the unit you are considering. Go through Century 21 and don't be afraid to ask about the unit. They will give you an honest appraisal. Check with management about any new regulations and while you're at it ask what temperature the indoor pool is. I was told it was 85 degrees. Felt awfully chilly to me. I love the Sea Watch because each unit is ocean front and (before this year) loved the indoor pool. I'll give it another try next year but if some of the bad conditions persist I fear I'll have to find another condo. read more

Stayed here last summer and came back last weekend. Great location and lots of amenities. The kids loved the pool, playground and movie theater. Older kids like the basketball and tennis courts. We stayed in 505 which had a lot of recent updates and was very clean. The view on this side ( North ) were great. If you stay on the other( South) side or too far back, towards the bay, the views may not be very good. read more

There was nothing nice about this place, there was so much stuff that needed repairs & when the owner was contacted she stated "I'm upgrading at the end of the season"! It was the worst vacation in OCMD my family has ever had in the 8 years we have been coming there. Advertised with a den when in fact it was barely a mud room. Pull out couch broken, master bed broken, I could go on & on... I wouldn't stay there if they gave me a free week. read more
