Nighttime paddle boarding was absolutely a blast! It was so cool to do it at night with thousands of people on the beach yet only 10 or 12 of us exclusively in the open ocean with the turtles and personal tour guide. It was peaceful and majestic and one of the coolest things I've done. I thought it would be kind of lame, but totally the opposite. The highlight of the night was the fireworks. Literally on the paddle boards underneath the fireworks took it to another level. Watching from the beach is ok, if you like being crowded with tens of thousands of people, but this takes it to an elevated experience. I mean, how often do you get to lay in the ocean on a paddleboard under one of the best firework show in the world ?! Highly recommend.!!

This was so far the BEST activity I booked here in my vacation. From the BEST customer service to the most amazing views, I had an absolute blast. I was worried about the storm affecting our plans and Chad literally FaceTimed me before the flight to show me the weather. Literally above and beyond! Check in was elite, the vibes were perfect, everyone was so friendly and we made some pretty good friends.

This ended up being the highlight of our trip! Our kids were a little nervous at first but it turned out to be super easy and the best way to watch the fireworks while taking in everything Waikiki has to offer. Turtles even swam right up to our boards! The staff captured amazing photos of our family, they were fun and friendly. Don't sleep on this adventure when you're in town.

Phenomenal experience!! If you only book one thing in Oahu, make it THIS! You will not regret it. Our guide Chad was truly amazing. He was a wealth of information, genuine, warm, and patient. We were so fortunate to find the beautiful sea turtles thanks to Chad's knowledge and expertise. The cost was very reasonable, especially since the experience felt priceless We were on the water for 90 minutes, which was just perfect! Look no further for your perfect Oahu adventure!!

Long Overdue. This is our 3rd time paddle boarding with Nocturnal Adventures, and each time is always an excellent experience. Chad is such a cool and easy going guy, with a very positive attitude. He explains things very thoroughly, and as a 3rd time "rookie" paddle boarder, I was able to regain muscle memory. We were led to an area where sea turtles swam right by us, and bobbed their cute bald little heads. Chad very kindly took several quality grade photos of us, so we didn't have to fumble with our selfie stick. Lastly, witnessing the fireworks that up close and personal was striking, impressive, and forever ingrained in our minds. Chad you deserve 10 plus stars, you've made this such a memorable experience, an adventure worth coming back to. See you again next year, mahalo!

This is a must do adventure in Hawaii! My girlfriend and I happened upon Chad, who was going out with a group on Saturday night. We asked for availability and he said we could come out on Sunday night. We are so happy that we did this. Out of all of the adventures we did do parasailing, swimming with dolphins, and Swimming at Waimea Falls. This was the best and most fun adventure. Chad is a patient teacher so even if you don't know how to paddleboard, you can always sit on the board and paddle. He made the whole adventure wonderful with his awesome personality. I highly recommend this Adventure to all.

This was an experience that made us wonder why we had never done it before! We have seen the Friday night fireworks from so many places over the years and we all agree this was our favourite by far. We will be doing this again and recommending to all our friends and family. Thank you team for such an amazing experience, we will be back!

My cousin raved about an experience in the North Shore where he went paddle boarding at sunset and saw so many sea turtles. Unfortunately he could not remember the name of the tour or company, as it was several years ago. I am convinced his experience was with Nocturnal Adventures Hawaii. I won't lie - I was a bit apprehensive at first upon landing on the "budget friendly" website, but the reviews were nothing but stellar so I decided to take the risk. SO worth it! We did several excursions over the weekend including snorkeling and UTVs, yet this was by far the best and most magical experience. We saw several sea turtles and they swam right up under our boards! I wish I had photos to share, but I only have videos and can't figure out how to upload them on Yelp Chad was so awesome - so incredibly kind and also super funny :) We were staying in Waikiki and made the trek up for the sunset SUP and I highly recommend everyone to do the same. Thank you, Chad, for an incredible experience, for the delicious refreshments afterwards, and for the beautiful photos! Can't wait to do it again upon our next visit!

My family and I just returned from our Hawaii trip. When we were staying in Waikiki, my cousin recommended a Friday night paddle board experience with Chad and his company, Nocturnal Adventures Hawaii. I'm so glad we took my cousin's recommendation. My daughter and I had a blast! Even though we arrived at the meeting spot by the pier early, Chad was already there with the paddle boards ready to go. There were eight of us gathered for this adventure, which was a good number. Chad explained exactly how the paddle boards worked and how to use the paddles. If you wanted to stay seated on the paddle board, he explained how to do that. If you wanted to try standing up on it, he explained how to do that. The paddle boards we used were very stable and had LED lights underneath so you could see the water below you. You could even change the color of the lights if you wanted. While we were out in the water, Chad also provided so much info on things to do and places to eat on the island. It was like having a personal concierge out in the water! While we were out on the water we enjoyed the fun of paddling a good distance down the beach and back. We were thrilled to see several turtles with one swimming right underneath me and then coming up for air just a few feet away. When the time approached around 8pm, the fireworks went off! What an experience. We were out on our paddle boards, in the water, the LED lights lighting up the surrounding water in a variety of colors, and the fireworks bursting in the sky above us. Amazing! When we go back, and we will go back, we're definitely booking this experience again with Chad.

If you are planning on visiting Oahu and happen to be there on a Friday, please book Chad's Friday night fireworks tour. I cannot recommend this enough. My family spent almost a week on the island, and unanimously agreed this was their favorite experience (you're welcome for finding this experience, family!). Chad is supremely helpful when it comes to learning how to paddleboard. This was my first time on a paddle board, and with his direction and cues, I was able to stand up and sit down whenever I felt like it. Good balance and leg strength helps prevent you from falling in. He warns you at the beginning of the tour to essentially not take anything out on the water you're prepared to lose, and please heed this warning. Someone in my group brought their prescription sunglasses out, wiped out trying to stand up on the paddleboard, and now they forever live at the bottom of the ocean in Waikiki. Watching the sun go down over the horizon as you're paddling around feels like the highlight of the experience, but it isn't! After the sun goes down, the paddle board lights come on, and most likely you'll see sea turtles swimming around. If you're lucky, they'll swim directly under your board! A little bit into sundown, the Hilton resort on the beach starts their firework show and you have an incredible front row seat from your paddleboard. I will forever treasure this memory. On top of everything, Chad is also super agile on his board and takes incredible photos of you and your group so you don't have to worry about dropping your phone in to capture this beautiful moment. He also has plenty of island recommendations if you want to pick his brain for food or activities. This experience was truly the highlight of our entire trip and I highly recommend booking this tour and thank you for everything, Chad!

The Friday Fireworks paddleboarding adventure is a must to try while in Hawai'i! The paddle boards had LED lights on the bottom, which made it so much cooler to see the clear waters. While paddleboarding, we saw sea turtles and watched a 10-15 minute firework show. I definitely believe you should experience this activity at least once while in Wakiki. There's lots of food in the area at a very walkable distance. My partner and I had never paddle boarded before, but Chad is a great instructor and made it very easy to follow. Chad is not only a great instructor, but he took amazing photographs of us! Thank you Chad for all the recommendations spots for us to try and for keeping us stationary while watching the firework show. p.s. we were running a bit late coming from North Shore area, but Chad was extremely understanding and helpful throughout our journey to get to him.

Sunset SUP trip adventure makes for epic family memories.

They also said they had availability that day, so I figured, why not? The whole experience was super satisfying. Ever feel like breaking something at work but don't want to get fired? Break n Anger is the place to let that urge out safely and legally. Here's how it works: You get to choose 2 items from the top shelf and 5 items each from shelves 2, 3, and 4 -- so about 17 items total to smash. After signing the waivers, you suit up in a jumpsuit, gloves, and a helmet. They offer earplugs too, but I skipped those -- the sound of breaking stuff is half the fun. Honestly, the time flew by -- I went all in for 10 minutes and it felt like seconds. I probably should've paced myself, but I really wanted to let the rage out. No regrets though -- it was super fun, and I can totally see this being a great team-building activity. I'm definitely planning to go back and try the premium items next time!

It looks like the smaller area can fit about 20 adults "comfortably," but I'm also going off the assumption there's not much decorations, some space for food, and kids are all playing. If the spaces are not for a private party you can still use them too, but it's at your own risk to leave your stuff in the open. The level my son is at is lots of crawling but the new environment may have been why he mostly sat and just looked around - that and the kids running around. It's appointment only, so be sure to book your appointment now!

If you're looking for a unique fun experience in Waikiki, definitely check out Bejewel Your Nails!…read moreIt's centrally located in the Waikiki shopping plaza (same building as the Stix food hall) on the 3rd floor. They validate parking which is a huge plus since parking in Waikiki can be expensive/difficult to find. It's a super cute DIY nail shop with tons of Sanrio themed items. As soon as you walk in, there's super cute Sanrio backdrops to take photos in front of, Sanrio bags/merch for purchase, and you start your experience wearing hello kitty socks and slippers (optional but highly recommend). After you enter the shop, you can decide whether you want to do their basic package of gel nails + unlimited nail stickers or you can do their upgraded package to have unlimited charms and gems and sparkles. I recommend choosing their unlimited charm bar because they have so many cute items to decorate your nails with! The nail shop is a little different than your typical nail salon. Here, you'll choose your polish (they now have Japanese gel!) and then Kelly (the owner) will teach you how to apply the gel polish on yourself. That's right, it's all DIY but Kelly is a very good teacher. I don't like applying my own nail polish but I found the experience super easy with her guidance. Once you've decided on your nail colors, you can choose from a huge array of stickers or charms to decorate with. Depending on whether you're using the nail stickers or the charms will be a different process but both super simple. And since it's all gel polish, there's little wait time so you can enjoy your nails as soon as you're done! What a perfect way to start your vacation in Oahu! Oh, and the best part? It's BYOB so bring some bottles and your girlfriends and have an amazing time doing your nails together! Kelly plays music for you in the shop but you can request to connect your phone to the Bluetooth speaker and play your own jams! Overall, it's a super cute and fun experience so I would recommend to check it out!

Cute little Waikiki Aquarium that's perfect for a quick stop, especially with a baby or young kids…read more It takes about an hour to get through the aquarium. Entry is only $12, which feels like a great deal for what you get. It's on the smaller side, but still really entertaining. We loved seeing a monk seal swimming around, along with tons of seahorses, jellyfish, a couple sharks, and lots of colorful fish. We even spotted a humuhumunukunukuapuaʻa, which was a fun Hawaii highlight. Only downside was getting bitten by mosquitoes inside, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, we had a really good time and would recommend it as an easy, affordable activity in Waikiki.

The Waikiki Aquarium - is affordable, and focuses on local sea life. I have been to many aquariums with all the same fish. Most of the sea life here are smaller such as fish, jellies, sea horses but they do have a rescue Hawaiian Monk Seal in a large outdoor area. I was 13 the first time I went to this aquarium with my grandparents and I was so captivated by the sea dragons - this was the first place I ever saw them. I still have the stuffed one they bought me on that visit. My boyfriend also commented that he enjoyed this aquarium because it is focused on the local sea life. They are currently having some construction to expand and add some additional exhibits but overall it was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend especially if you have younger children as it isn't a huge aquarium but alot of local sea life.
