They were there as scheduled with a very good condition 11ft epoxy board. It would have been nicer if they offered lighter adjustable paddles. Billy and Lynn have good quality boards, which makes a huge difference in the overall experience. They deliver to Ala Moana Beach Park, close to Magic Island and you drop off back to the same spot when you are done paddling. They have good prices for an easy ocean adventure. Ala Moana Beach Park is a perfect spot for SUP. I would definitely recommend Aloha SUP Club Hawaii and use them again for future SUP outings. Their website has a link to an instructional video which may seem unnecessary, that is until you see I'll-fated paddlers on boards doing everything the wrong way. We had a great experience renting from Billy and Lynn. Loved that we were able to text them to arrange an SUP drop off and pick up. We had a rental car but couldn't fit a board in it so it was so convenient to have it delivered right to the beach. They were very friendly and timely as well. My husband a I had a great ride today - we were met at the park right in front of the beach to launch from. Saw a few sea turtles and rode down and back up Ala Moana beach. Owners Billy and Lynne were great! Gave us tips on how to ride Ala Moana and carry the boards to the water. They even put our stuff in the car so we didn't have to worry about it on the beach. Definitely watch the instructional video on their site - after two viewings we were able to figure it out on the water. Recommend!! read more

Found a deal on Groupon for the SUP rental. Setting it up couldn't have been easier. Billy and Lynne are the owners. They delivered the boards right on time to Ala Moana Beach. I like paddling here because the reef keeps the waters pretty still and it's never too crowded on the weekdays. On some occasions, I'll even spot a honu (sea turtle). I forgot to wear my watch while paddling and didn't realize I ran about 15 or 20 minutes late returning the board. They were so gracious and told me not to even worry about it. Billy and Lynne are good people who truly embody the aloha spirit. Talking to them was like talking to long lost friends! Definitely recommend using them for SUP rentals. My sister-in-law booked the SUP board for an afternoon paddle at Ala Moana Beach. Lynne and Billy couldn't have been more awesome! Delivered the board to us, with different paddles for me and my kids. They hung out and gave advice as needed, and even helped out with turning my daughter around when she was having trouble. We had a fantastic experience with Lynn and Billy. We had seen how crowded and touristy the rentals on Waikiki beach were - when we realized that we could get the SUP boards delivered on the calm and beautiful Ala Moana beach, we were thrilled. We arrived late but they still gave us the full 2 hours! They also gave us a quick run down on SUP since we were beginners. Chatting with Lynn and Billy was super helpful and fun. What better way to spend a day on the beach with your family then to paddle board along Ala Moana Beach Park. We had a great time with two boards. Billy and Lynne are just the most wonderful people. My wife took one board with our 5 year old son riding along. We saw turtles, battled the wind on the return, swam in the beautiful Pacific, we even had him switch between boards and switched boards on the way back. Billy and Lynne exemplify the Aloha spirit. Made a reservation a day in advance and met them at Ala Moana beach park. They were on time and helped us get the boards down to the water. For beginners, Ala Moana is a great place to learn, as there are few waves because it's protected by a reef. They were very thorough and explained where to paddle and to avoid the swimmers lane. Saw plenty of Honu (turtles) and fish. Although we rented for an hour, we got an extra 15 min and by then were pretty tired. Great values and service. Can't wait to go back. read more

They showed up on time with our boards, made sure we had everything we needed, gave some helpful instructions, and sent us on our way. We ended up finishing a little early, so I called Lynne and they were right there to pick up the boards so we didn't have to wait around. Great service - they drop off and pick up the boards right at the beach! Two choices, depending on which beach you want to go to - we decided to SUP at Ala Moana. I rented a stand up paddle board from Lynne and Billy and spent time on the calm waters of Ala Moana's Beach/Magic Island. I really think the time I spent on the board... cured all heartbreak, was the healing I needed, and became the pinnacle of my time in Honolulu. Five stars! I rented a standing board from them and it was the most fun and relaxing thing I did while on the island. Saw a couple large turtles and some little white fish that hops out and skims across the top of the water. Strongly recommend taking a standing board out and relax. read more

My sister and I had made a reservation about 2 months out. When the day came, we asked our hotel concierge for directions and they informed us that there was a very large event with about 50,000 people on the beach where we were supposed to paddleboard. I called Lynne and asked her if the reservation was still good for today and she seemed to have forgotten. This was an hour before our reservation time. I was disappointed that we didn't receive a call. If we didn't ask our hotel, we would have gone there only to wait for paddleboards that wouldn't arrive. We rescheduled to the day after next. Now for the experience: Billy and Lynne both helped us with techniques and getting on our boards which was much appreciated because we were first timers. Once we got the hang of it, it was great! We even saw a few turtles pop their heads out! We were sad that our hour was coming to an end, so Billy told us that he's running on "Hawaiian Time" and to not worry about it. They are such nice people and we are happy the reservation worked out! read more
