After our former agent Ken Smith sadly passed away and his office got dissolved, Steven ended up taking over our business in August 2022. He reached out and we were able to meet in his office. Quite a positive change as we used to converse via email with Ken's office and we started losing faith in State Farm as a lot of our suggestions for coverage and a claim for storm damage were initially declined (but another local State Farm agent was able to help us file soon after). We can say that Steven's office is "with it" and communication since the change has been a LOT better. Also he is more than able to explain why certain coverages matter and not try to simply "upsell". We are looking forward to further build a solid business relationship with this office.

When I moved, my premium went up and I was told it was due to the area--fine. But since then, despite living at the same address for over a year, my rate has increased three more times with no explanation. I have zero points, no accidents, and a clean driving record since the day I started driving. Yet this morning, I discovered yet another rate increase--this time by $53--and once again, no notice, no letter, no justification. Just another unexplained hike. This is unreasonable and feels like you are raising rates simply because you can. I will be finding a different insurance company because this has become absolutely ridiculous.
