I've never had hair service that felt like a warm hug. So here's my salon background: nowhere near this, I can tell you that. I've been going to the same little shop in Chinatown in the city since I was a broke college kid for ten years. Paying $30 plus tip just to get the job done, just for a semblance of put together hair. Well... I'm a grown up now and it's time for an upgrade, time for new things to try. And comparing Hair Saloon and my little reliable shop... the phrase I would use is you get what you pay for. The quality Brianna and Danielle exposed to me to is something I would never turn my back on now that I've had a taste of it. When I walked into the salon, which shares a little building with a nail salon next door, my nervous little self was greeted with warm smiles and welcomes. I was given a little tour of the cafe/bar side, and then the section where the actual magic begins. Seeing as how they've open during the height of COVID, they're still very infection control friendly! The chairs in the cutting/stying section are more than generously six feet apart, and the chairs by the washing station are separated by clear screens. 10/10 for cleanliness because you see these other businesses and since late 2021, you know hygiene has definitely been thrown out the window. You know you're dishing out a little more $ when there's massage chairs during the hair wash. In my head I was just wow'd because Chinatown could never lol. Brianna was great during the wash. One thing I have to commend them for is the communication step-by-step. She asked me my preferences in shampoo, and I usually opt for products that offer volume, so she introduced me to R&Co, which was pretty much *the* brand that was used on me throughout my appointment. I really appreciated how she explained the different types of shampoo they used and who would benefit from what. The shampoo, the hair serum, and hair spray I'm pretty sold on because I'm that person who's always looking for the next best thing when it comes to hair and face products. Now Danielle. You are the GOAT. Thank you for showing me what it's like to be well taken care of as a client. There is something in that customer service of yours that feels so warm and it's like, of course the business would be 5 stars on here! You're like the big sister of hair, telling me what works and what doesn't. I told you this during the service, but you are absolutely absolutely absolutely the master of your craft! :) Dear future customers, the way Danielle can utilize and manipulate round brushes? The other people working in the pharmacy were wonderful. on my way out I wanted to book and see if I could pick up a box of baseball cards, picked it up and it was empty! Someone ripped open the bottom and stole the entire $22 and some odd cents box of baseball cards. Thinking that I'm helping I brought the box up to the cashier who is nowhere to be found. When he finally showed up, I handed in the box and told him that someone stole the cards from the box. He said absolutely nothing and didn't even look at me! He couldn't have cared less, I'm pretty sure he was annoyed that he had to come to the counter. I spent 10 minutes arguing with the pharmacist because they couldn't fill my complete prescription that I needed because I'm going away until Friday. So the pharmacist gets annoyed, but the technician filled itit in less than 10 minutes. I spent 20 minutes, chewing out my doctor and he apologized and agreed with me that other patience have had bad experiences at this Walgreens as well. Wake these people up and higher more people to work at the Richboro, branch where they care because it seems like they're closed than any other pharmacy I've ever even heard of, but at least the people are nice and will go out of their way to answer questions and help. Your pharmaceuticals staff and your employees could be more polite and act like they give a crap about their job rather than just annoyed that they're bothered by dreaded customer! Rarely can this Walgreens fill my prescriptions in full. I am constantly charged the same price for…read morea partial fill as I would be for a full fill. Now that I see this is a recurring issue at this location, I genuinely wonder if it is intentional. They also fail to report the fill correctly to my insurance company. As a result, the insurance company denies coverage for the remainder of the medication because Walgreens reports it as a "refill," even though they never provided the full prescription in the first place. For example, if I'm prescribed a 7-day course of antibiotics that should cost $5 with insurance, they will only give me 3 days' worth--still charging $5--and then I am forced to fight with the insurance company to get the remaining 4 days covered. This delay means I lose time between doses, which can make the medication less effective or not effective at all causing the medical issue to come back worse. Walgreens' suggested solution was that I pay the full cash price and use their $2 off a $100 prescription coupon, even though it should have cost me only $5 for a complete fill instead of $103 and wasting my time on three different runs to pickup the medication. They expected me to literally pay for their mistakes. They also refused to call the insurance company to correct their error and told me it was my problem. Days later the issue was finally resolved, but at the cost of my health. On top of that, the store has long lines, long wait times, and constant issues entering my insurance correctly. Despite all their problems, the staff has the AUDACITY tp frequently behave rudely. They don't consistently notify me when a prescription is ready, yet they will call me during the workday and rudely tell me I have four hours to pick it up or they will cancel the order. Final straw -They told me their system had flagged one of my medications for a drug interaction, but they claimed they couldn't see what the interaction was--so they removed the warning, gave me my medication, and basically said may the odds be ever in yoru favor. I reached out to my doctor's office, I had to wait for my doctor's office to inform me that taking the new prescription with my current medication could cause a cardiac event.

They're usually pretty well stocked but the only thing that freaks me out is that there's a guard at the door. I get scared for my safety as to him looking around around the store. I haven't used the drive thru but I do find that this is my go-to drug store because of its quick pharmacy. It's also close to Wawa and a few ways to get out of the parking lot. I always have gotten a space near the front of the store.
