I was particularly interested in the French skincare care brands such as Le Petit Marseillais and Dop which are normally very hard to find in Canada. They had a decent selection of soaps and bodywashes priced fairly compared to the original prices in Europe. If you are not familiar with the brands, you may still be impressed by the goods - we ended up purchasing some specialty sodas and unique potato chips along with other snacks. Excellent and friendly service from the staff. Wish the selection was bigger and some things more affordable, I noticed they had a section of discounted goods that were close to or past their best before date therefore I think this shop doesn't get enough customers or may not sell enough products.

So many spices and herbs to choose from and just checking them out gave me a lot of inspirations! Epices de Cru is also a tea shop. A whole wall full of loose tea leaves in tins. You can buy them in small package which the staff will pack them for you. The lady that served us was really knowledgeable and helpful and is a real tea sommelier. Their selection is from all over the World and they have interesting offerings from smaller tea plantations. You can also buy a hot tea to go brewed from one of the tea leaves! This was a highlight during my recent visit of Marche Jean-Talon. So if you love tea, spices and herbs, make sure you drop by Epices de Cru!

This shop in a majesty of culinary delights! I impressed myself a little bit by immediately (and accidentally) homing in on one of the shop's most popular spice blends: the Mediterranean sea salt. Either that, or the incredibly friendly staff were just selling me on it by telling me it's one of their best-selling products. The entire stash of bagged spices reportedly sells out within days of being stocked! And a little less than half a kilo went for only $4.46CAD -- what a steal (so was the huge bag of bay leaves for $1.25)! Protip: be prepared for TSA to search your bag if you end up purchasing some spices from this shop. Apparently, it looked like we were smuggling some illicit substances back home...

So this is a Hole in the wall kindove place but I love sketchy places you always find interesting…read morethings and I always go in with no expectations. This store holds lots of Chinese food and health supplies. I came in for a particular item called "Zheng Gu Shui" its the miracle oil to help rid of pain and to my luck They had it at the store for 9$ pretty happy I got 2 bottles ! I love trying different healthy & natural remedies to alleviate pain instead of a generic drug that stops working after 4 hours. Tons of interesting items from overseas and random things you can not think of they got it. The place is a bit run down and it seems like it doesn't have regular hours of operation but we were lucky to have it open when we were there. Overall, great find and totally recommend hopefully it will still be open next time we come back for more of that miracle oil bottle for chronic pain. It works like a charm.

Service: Each time that I've been, I spoke to someone that was super knowledgeable about the products. They were always able to explain the subtle differences between the various spices, and make great recommendations on what I should use to cook a specific dish. Price: Pretty good - unless you're buying a super rare root from the middle of nowhere, these guys won't rip you off. You basically pay for the weight, though I think they do have a minimum quantity.

From Syrian groceries all the way from spices and sweet tea's to coffee. The coffee by the way it's fresh and they sell them on complete coffee grounds and they grind them right there in front of you so I can not get any fresher than that. While we were in for the meat to be done at this butcher, my other sister said that I should eat their amazing sandwiches and oh my god that has to be the best sandwich I have had in my life. The meet was so tender and juicy and they were grilled right in front of our eyes on charcoal, then right after they put it on a pita bread, with hummus, fresh salads, and other dips. After they do that they put it back to the charcoal to grill it and that bread Was crispy and then meet incredible.
