There are a few covered picnic tables in the splash pad area and then a pavilion with mor picnic tables by the playground for larger groups. There were easily 20 kids at the splash pad and it didn't feel crowded. The bucket that dumps is big and dumps fairly often. The kids love being under it when it goes dumps. There are several other assorted sprinklers and a couple other much smaller buckets too. So much for me and the kids to do we were there for a few hours.

The area was very quiet... maybe we were there too early for the nightlife, but it was 7/8pm on a Friday. ‍ There is a saloon across the street for those who might not want to participate. The host/owner was pleasant with a dry humor that I appreciate! There were 4 or 5 room options I believe. They're in the process of creating another one. The puzzles were challenging but able to be solved. We adults were in the harder room and it took us a little over 45 minutes to get out. The only reason I deducted a star (and it would only be 1/2 a star if I were able) is that design and decoration at our hometown escape room are much more elaborate. Regardless, I'd definitely be back if given the chance. This was a great opportunity to let the kids do something on their own while the adults worked through our own room.

We have lived in this area for over a year now. But have been driving to the city to go to dog…read moreparks. I was so happy to discover this place the other day. Most people around here have their own property but for those of us that done this was very nice to take our pups to run around. Big trees for shade in the summer. Plenty of room to run and play fetch. Easy to get to, just across from the heart of Oklahoma expo by the rv park area.

The renaming happened in 2006 to honor Glen Collins, a longtime Shawnee Twin Lakes officer who was killed in the line of duty in December 2005 in a car accident. There is a swimming area, sporting areas, restrooms, pavilions, picnic areas and a small playscape. Easy access to the water for fishing as well, but make sure you check on the rules or any pertinent fees. A little chilly this morning.
