But there is plenty of room between them, so you don't feel like you are on top of each other. The place was completely full. The staff did an excellent job keeping the bathroom clean and stocked. All in all this is a great place to camp! It is a great family place too. Swimming, boating, hiking, fishing. You name it. We will go again if we are back in the area. I would recommend reservations if you are there on a weekend.... Especially a holiday weekend! There are electric and non-electric sites only. No full hookups.

The campsites are spread out so you feel you have privacy for the most part. They have a nice shower room facility that is free. Our family had a blast fishing and enjoying the outdoors. The marina has a nice restaurant and alot of different fun bikes to rent. Definitely stay here, it's reasonable and beautiful! Campground 3 is the best in my opinion because the campsites are right next to the water and there are great shore fishing spots.

Its next to the local bars and diner. I have heard of families renting the inn out for weddings. You do not have a lot of options in Onida so having a place that is clean and safe is very nice. The rooms all have microwaves and refrigerators. If you are a colder person and like warm rooms, request to stay upstairs. If you can't sleep in the heat, request a room downstairs. I go here every year and will continue to stay here. I could find a chain in Pierre but this is much nicer and you support the local businesses.

The ac was set for me without request, helpful directions from the staff which is all family, that's South Dakota style. I will definitely be staying there again. We did get to visit the hot tub, and although it needed some cleaning was still nice (floor needs swept) Breakfast was good, they need some plain oatmeal lol and coffee at the front would be nice in addition to hot tea.
