I also appreciate them being very eco with their space and having the super cool fabric duc work, instead of the typical metal hanging off the ceilings! My favorite items were the farm table with the steel legs and the gigantic yet simple light fixture that spanned most of the show room. Not only do they have fantastic furniture, but since the owners are also in the carpet business; they have a great selection of rugs! I highly recommend shopping here for your next home decor project. One of the owners that I met, Paul Baird; is very friendly and really knows his stuff! My only previous experience with the gallery has been annoyance at the 2 prime reserved spots they've got in the Octane parking lot. Yes, they deserve these spots, but when I'm lugging a giant ancient computer and feeling lazy, I have certainly shaken my fist at them before. The space itself is beautiful, and quite fitting for Corinne's oversized work. There is one main room that is large enough that you can appreciate each piece individually but yet intimate enough to see everything as a whole collection. There's also a small room at the front which is a great spot for smaller pieces, as there's not enough room to really step back and see something big, but it has great light. This isn't a gallery I'd necessarily recommend for private events (they don't have nice bathrooms or the right layout like spots like Kai Lin) but it's definitely worth a spot, or at least a peek in the windows to see what great local artist they may be featuring.

Unfortunately, I broke a piece of this chandelier a week ago and went back to Jack for help in getting it repaired. Jack really went over and above the call to help me in researching my problem and how I might secure replacement pieces. It is easy to see why he has been in business so long with such great customer service. They have a wonderful inventory of chandeliers in the store if you are seeking something unique and beautiful.

Following a flood in my house I sent one rug to Benedict for cleaning & the other rug I did myself with resolve. I am including pictures that my plumber can verify. Your lengthy rebuttal is no surprise. Trish was pretentious & treated me with extreme distrust (my credit score is consistently in the mid 800's). I have had a long career in perianaesthesia & am familiar with customer relations. It's easier to whitewash your business than to come back with an earnest attempt to learn from or correct the complaint. My review was put up so that other people might consider if you are the best company for them. I have never in my life been asked to pay for someone just to SCHEDULE a pick up & delivery. This is inherently part of Customer Service, and, if you must charge, embody it into your rug quote. Interactions with this company showed a reluctance to give or in any form be gracious. That simple gesture makes the difference between a client feeling valued or not. Further, I have owned many many good rugs, and I have never been asked to pay a fee for blocking. Cleaning the rug, and returning it into its original rectangular shape, is part of the service in from La Jolla to Albuquerque. I should also say that that "additional charge, was never even brought up in the conversation. I do not believe, in any way, that you can correct the effect of your cleaning, but I also believe in free speech. People need to be informed about the failures of companies as well as their achievements.

Then, hanging out with my sister, we stopped a new gallery that had just opened in East Atlanta Village. NAIO Gallery. My sister met the owner at some event and was stopping by to see the opening exhibit. I was just along for the ride. Oh what a ride. This gallery fits right in with the cool, funky hipness of EAV. I was suprised when I walked in and saw work that I'd just been reading about. (Truthfully, I felt really cutting edge) I got up close and personal with a few pieces and was glad I came. I had a chance to sit at the bar counter and chat with the owner. Very very smart lady. She gave me some tips that are really paying off. Definately adding this to my list of social venues. Date-worthy and party-worthy for sure.
