At first I resisted the urge... and then I crumbled. LOL. I could stay in this store all day. It was a shared store space with The Book Bird. I love books too. The place was cozy and a crafter's delight. I knit and embroider so I was in heaven. The price of the yarn was a I expected as they are a level up from your commercial store bought yarn. I did walk away with a large embroidery hoop I've been wanting to buy and was pleased at the cost. I will definitely be back!

They support crochet, Tunisian crochet, and knitting. They have classes and the person working there was friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were a bit high but reasonable given the quality of the goods offered and the fact that, as a crocheted, I felt welcome. I'm 54 and have been crocheting and knitting since childhood. This is the first time I've ever felt welcome in a local yarn store as someone who prefer crochets.

I didn't take much pictures as most were taken with my friend's phone instead. There was a brief reception followed by drinks at the bar prior to dinner. We had quite the wait after we got seated around 7pm. However, it was between 8 and 9pm till we got served. Not sure what was going on I the kitchen.. But, the guests were starving that day! Luckily, I had a late snack before heading out to the wedding. I particularly liked the room with the baby grand piano with walls filled with Asian paintings. It was pleasant listening to someone who was decent at carrying a few tunes on the piano. It was fun watching the bride and groom getting their pictures taken in the garden outside the Art Center prior to dinner.

The friendliness of our host Janica and her patience as she gave each of us our own personal lessons on how to make our painting Amazing. I normally feel stressed when I go to sip and paints but that was not the case this time. I felt at ease with Janica and she really made me feel like I was doing a great job making my painting my own. She never rushed us as I was prob the last person of our group to finish. I would definitely recommend this over any paint studio I've been to over the years. Price doesn't matter when you feel this welcomed and catered to and the best part is picking a painting that you want to paint vs the other places where everyone is doing the same 1 or 2 options. I don't plan on returning.
