He took the time to explain my options, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood what I was paying for rather than just pushing me toward the most expensive solution. What really impressed me was that Jake worked the cost of the work they had already completed into the replacement toilet, which saved me a significant amount of money. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with.
