I did a lot of research before finding a contractor to help us with our Master Bathroom remodel. I had a mediocre experience with our upstairs bathroom remodel and wanted to do it right this time. I saw Daniel and his company, TruBlue of Allen, got great reviews everywhere I looked so I reached out. He agreed to meet me the next day and came and always had a smile on his face and a "can-do" attitude. He showed confidence and I could tell he has done this many times. We agreed on his very reasonable estimate and the project began! I wanted to completely remove our existing shower and tub and make the tub are our new shower and the previous shower would become a an area for storage. He showed up to help me get tile and we got a great mix of tiles for our bathroom and we couldn't be happier! Fernando helped with all the tiling and a separate group of guys helped with the finishings and drywalls. Daniel's plumber is fantastic and you can tell that all these workers pay attention to detail and have worked in nice homes and do great work. This was so different than my previous experience which was mediocre. We did a master bathroom remodel and were very happy with the job. Daniel took time out to go to floor & decor with us to pick up tile. The quote (mostly labor, some material mixed in) was also the lowest we got out of 7 - proves you can have both best price and great service. We ordered our own tile/wall tile with Daniel's help, and then all of the fixtures (vanity, lights, mirror, shower hardware) from Home Depot. In addition we asked for a demolition of a closet door and to transform the closet entrance into an open archway - and TruBlue was one of the only providers that were willing to take on that request All of his crews were friendly and quick. Demolition, tiling, painting, and plumbing were all done within two weeks. Cabinetry was done in week 3. Only minor complaint is glass installation was a bit delayed, which dragged the final piece of the job out an additional 1.5 weeks. Daniel and his team remodeled our bathroom this past spring. Six months later, my husband and I absolutely love our bathroom and we do not regret a single cent invested into it. The process was fairly smooth from start to finish. We did have a moderate amount of upgrades that we requested after the initial quote and design. Daniel was quick to make the adjustments or let us know if our request was not advisable. We did express at one point that an item we really wanted was out of our budget. Daniel gave us several options to consider, and we were able to select one that worked best for us. The job is construction and contracting work by nature, so there were some bumps along the way. This is not a handy man repair type of work. Daniel was quick to respond, hear our concerns and either provide an explanation or corrective action. His team is extremely talented and hard working. His tile setter has a true passion for his craft and I love my shower. Hands down, the tile setter was my favorite person ever. If I were to give any advice for future clients it would be to remain in contact with Daniel throughout the project and notify him immediately if you have a concern. Daniel is the owner who provided hands on experience and was very involved. After the initial estimate and planning, he met me at the Floor and Decor store near my home to help me select tiles. Everything from the shower walls & floor to the bathroom floor is porcelain tile. The cost was figured into the estimate. He picked up the tile order for me and returned the extras at the end of the job for a refund to my credit card. He was at the job site and provided almost daily updates. It took about 3 days for the estimate. He finishes one project before beginning the next, so it was about 3 weeks before we started. The price for both bathrooms was midrange but the quality was top notch. He did exactly as I asked and if I had any issues he corrected them at once. He also has good taste in design to provide niceties like niches that incorporated the mosaic tile from the shower floor. He was very patient with my condo HOA, who were extremely inflexible and unhelpful. His plumber did an excellent job making sure all the plumbing had new shutoff valves and access panels for the plumbing behind the tiles. This should prevent having to deal with the "once a month " water shutoff allowed by the HOA for future plumbing repairs or remodeling. He was very timely in estimating when our project would start and worked diligently to complete everything in just over a week which we appreciated because of having a little baby at home during the construction. He was very responsive throughout the process including daily updates and text communication. He took our design ideas for removing the 2nd tier countertop in our kitchen and created an amazing kitchen space! We also had our cabinets painted, countertops replaced, tile backsplash, and walls painted.
