It was a nice break from all the fish in Lisbon. The weather was cool, so Ramen was a perfect choice. The noodles was slightly overcooked not to my taste. I like it al dente. Impeccable ramen! Tasty gyoza and spring roll appetizers (not pictured because we were too hungry to wait). I really enjoyed the Yakatori ramen, the flavor was excellent and it was perfect temperature to start eating right away. They also have sriracha sauce on the table if you want some spice. read more

Stumbled upon Nood because we were hungry and it was closeby while we were out sightseeing. We were seated right upon arrival and there were a couple other tables seated when we were there. My boyfriend got a fried rice dish and I got ramen. His fried rice was good, but I wasn't a fan of my ramen. I actually didn't finish it because the noodles were too mushy for me. Some items were a hit, some a miss. We were craving some noodles so this seems like the perfect selection. We started with some gyoza and edamame. The gyoza was very good, but the edamame was over cooked to the point of extreme mushiness. My ramen (the spicy chicken ramen) was nearly inedible. The broth was okay but the meat was so dry and the noodles were so over cooked I couldn't eat them. My husbands yakisoba was good, however he said it isn't like traditional yakisoba and thought it should have been called something else. The sangria was good. read more

We stumbled across Nood when our first dinner choice was too packed to seat us that night. The hostess asked for our proof of vaccination or test so that made us feel better about eating indoors. The restaurant's interior had a nice ambience with the mood lighting and Asian inspired decor. We started with their veggie gyoza, which were tasty but not crisp, and had the Yakisoba for our mains. My dish, the regular yakisoba, started off okay but gradually became extremely salty since the noodles were soaking in a small pool of soy sauce. The noodles weren't chewy or thick as you'd expect. My friend's veggie yakisoba seems to have been less soy-saucy and the tofu it came with was pretty good. We did enjoy their homemade ginger lemonade which was refreshingly tart and gingery. The servers were quick, attentive and helpful, but the food was disappointing.. I'd recommend this place for a casual meal but probably don't expect quality Asian food here. read more

This is an open space type of restaurant that, can be compared to a smaller Wagamama. Actually it is a Japanese-inspired noodle bar compared to the latter one (you can even find sushi there as well). In terms of design this space is more intimate and very cozy. You can see the cooks doing their stuff while you enjoy a very nice homemade juice (you can actually see them making the juice at the bar as well). When I first saw it I was very impressed by it, in a good way that is. This is by far a very good and budget-like restaurant. I ate a Vegetable Gyoza and Udon Noodles with Tofu plus a desert all for EUR16,50, which in my opinion is a fairly good price! And I was full! I didn't gave it a 5-star rating because the food seemed a bit plastic... They are very quick serving you and for me that feels like something they cook on a microwave oven and tarara.. But don't be put off by my critique you will probably like it. I did! And it is perfect when you are in a hurry to visit the rest of Lisboa! read more

My wife and I ate at the Nood restaurant branch in the Vasco de Gama shopping Centre. We just wanted a quick bite and the photo selection of the dishes they had on display looked interesting. Oh dear. I was so looking forward to some Asian fusion after two weeks solid of Portuguese cuisine in all its splendid but predictable fishiness, and it looked so promising when we stumbled on Nood. And even though I quickly clocked that the waitress on duty was not hugely connected to planet earth let alone to the customers on her station, I felt that once we had our order in all would go smoothly (the chef after all had nudged her in our direction, she was waiting for something to cook. At which the waitress nodded vaguely, I noted, grimly). But we persevered to get her attention and finally, miraculously, got our order in plus a drinks order. And it was ok that she got the beers wrong, there seemed to be too many cl options anyway we felt, mistakes would get made. And you can always order more... can't you? And it was ok that the kids meals arrived before ours did, they looked really good, and there's nothing worse than kids complaining and asking when their dinner will arrive. Ours would be here soon...wouldn't it? I mean, the place only had a few people in it. The too-small beers were drained. The kids had licked the plates. Still no sign of ours. Still impossible to catch the frankly spaced-out waitress's eye. Suffice to say, when ours finally did arrive, the meal had reached that point of tension where it's hard to say if you're actually really hungry anyone, and you certainly don't want to stick around any longer than you have to, so you dutifully eat it as fast as you can and get out. Oh, it turned out the the kitchen had forgotten our order. Had we not nabbed the waiter who had come on duty, we'd never have got our dinner. At least when we finally got to order two more beers, they gave them to us on the house. Not that they offered. I guess that gets a star. As does the kids meal which was nice. Nood is the type of restaurant you can go on a Friday or Saturday night for a different atmosphere. Although busy on these nights, the friendly staff will make sure you're comfortable on the lounge with some appetizers. Food is quickly served and very tasteful. I'm not an expert, but I've become a fan of their menu. They have many options and great desserts to end your meal with. And then, it's off to Bairro Alto. read more

I really like Nood. The staff are super friendly - our waiter was really a comedian, we were laughing our asses off at him - so funny! He made our experience all the more fun. The food was great - katsu curry is always a favourite of mine at Wagamama but I think Nood actually do it better. My husband was a fan of his food too. The ginger lemonade is awesome and we may have gotten a little drunk on the cocktails as it was happy hour! This was our third trip to Lisbon and Nood for us is a must visit on our itinerary. Cheap and cheerful, good position out of the main tourist traps and with a decent view, this was a good place for a quick lunch before we left Lisbon. Customer service was good, the price is what's expected, the ramen looked promising! One bite of a chopstick full of noodles and immediately was upset. Service was quick and not particularly friendly. The salad was a bit of a joke (a plate full of iceberg lettuce with a dollop of runny satay sauce on top) and our main courses were, well, basically just fried noodles with some brown sauce and a few strips of vegetables. Service is ok.. allready twice I had to wait some time to be served, guess it depends.
