Spicy chicken ramen - noodles were over cooked. Didn't finish
    Daira R.

Some items were a hit, some a miss. We were craving some noodles so this seems like the perfect selection. We started with some gyoza and edamame. The gyoza was very good, but the edamame was over cooked to the point of extreme mushiness. My ramen (the spicy chicken ramen) was nearly inedible. The broth was okay but the meat was so dry and the noodles were so over cooked I couldn't eat them. My husbands yakisoba was good, however he said it isn't like traditional yakisoba and thought it should have been called something else. The sangria was good.

We stumbled across Nood when our first dinner choice was too packed to seat us that night. The hostess asked for our proof of vaccination or test so that made us feel better about eating indoors. The restaurant's interior had a nice ambience with the mood lighting and Asian inspired decor. We started with their veggie gyoza, which were tasty but not crisp, and had the Yakisoba for our mains. My dish, the regular yakisoba, started off okay but gradually became extremely salty since the noodles were soaking in a small pool of soy sauce. The noodles weren't chewy or thick as you'd expect. My friend's veggie yakisoba seems to have been less soy-saucy and the tofu it came with was pretty good. We did enjoy their homemade ginger lemonade which was refreshingly tart and gingery. The servers were quick, attentive and helpful, but the food was disappointing.. I'd recommend this place for a casual meal but probably don't expect quality Asian food here.

This is an open space type of restaurant that, can be compared to a smaller Wagamama. Actually it is a Japanese-inspired noodle bar compared to the latter one (you can even find sushi there as well). In terms of design this space is more intimate and very cozy. You can see the cooks doing their stuff while you enjoy a very nice homemade juice (you can actually see them making the juice at the bar as well). When I first saw it I was very impressed by it, in a good way that is. This is by far a very good and budget-like restaurant. I ate a Vegetable Gyoza and Udon Noodles with Tofu plus a desert all for EUR16,50, which in my opinion is a fairly good price! And I was full! I didn't gave it a 5-star rating because the food seemed a bit plastic... They are very quick serving you and for me that feels like something they cook on a microwave oven and tarara.. But don't be put off by my critique you will probably like it. I did! And it is perfect when you are in a hurry to visit the rest of Lisboa!

Ordered a miao ramen and beef teriyaki Ramen. In fact it's not ramen at all and nothing is right. Avoid if you can.

The food was great - katsu curry is always a favourite of mine at Wagamama but I think Nood actually do it better.

We ordered the: -Octopus Hot Dog (of course!) -Roasted Sardine Niguiri -Pan Sear Prawns and Garlic -Tuna tartare on toasted brioche with white chocolate and lime -Fried Seabass -Lobster Roll -Fried Scallops Overall everything was pretty good, but I wasn't in love with everything. The one stand out dish was definitely the Fried Seabass. It was really good! Sadly the Octopus Hot Dog was a bit underwhelming as I kept getting some hard pieces with every bite. The service was very friendly and quick. So although I most likely won't be coming back, I'm glad I tried Sea Me. Croacker Ceviche

There is one private booth table which we selected. It is a tapas style restaurant, so for two of us we ordered 6 dishes plus a dessert. The staff explains the menu and that a lower section shows larger dishes. We loved everything that we ordered but especially the lobster roll (their take don't expect a Maine style roll), sardine nigiri, garlic shrimp (the sauce was incredible and came with bread) and the dessert. The food came out very quickly but we were having dinner at 7pm. The total for two people was around 80 euro with the discount, but we did not get drinks other than still water.

We reserved a terrace table but were seated at the farthest corner instead. With plenty of open tables, the placement felt discriminatory and made us uncomfortable. Moving past that... Drinks: The Mount Fuji cocktail was delicious. Appetizers & entrees: We ordered a large variety for three people as we couldn't decide: Chamuca de Frango, Long Bao Pork, Bao Frango Bang Bang, Shrimp Tempura, Siew Mai Wonton, Salmon Hosomaki, Wonton Soup, Char Siu Pork Bao, Biryani, Peixe do Dia, and Jasmine Rice. Presentation was generally beautiful. On average the food rated 3-4 stars, though a couple of dishes were closer to 2 stars. The salmon hosomaki was flavorless and disappointing; the biryani was dry and lacked enough lamb when mixed; the baos were just okay. The shrimp tempura and the fish of the day were the standouts. Dessert: Baba Riniceronte, mango sticky rice, and Avela biscuit were all enjoyable, though the mango wasn't very sweet (possibly out of season). Service: Table service was ok but a bit inattentive. Staff only returned when bringing food and didn't check in much to see if we were enjoying our meal. Given we spent over 100 EUR pp, I expected more attentive service. This was an acceptable one-time experience, I've been to many mid-to-high-end Asian restaurants and this did not meet my expectations, I would not return.

Without a reservation, they were able to get us a table l and also gave us a tour of their dragon, rhino and each section of the restaurant. The bang bang chicken tasted more along the lines of a peanut sauce (similar to pad thai) and wasn't spicy, but still delicious! I could have easily made a meal solely eating 3-4 of these. The piri piri chicken was cooked perfect! The yogurt sauce, rice and onions all gave it a Mediterranean feel, and the bread/tortillas went great with it.

This restaurant is beautiful and well thought out. I love the entrance and the journey to the main dining area. I love the interior design. I love the open-concept kitchen that grants the ability to watch the chefs work their magic. I love the dishware and the presentation of the food. Ultimately, I love how intentional the creators were with the development and execution of Ao 26. I ordered the Francesinha and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Upon reading the description, I was hesitant because it did not sound like something that I'd enjoy, but I was desperate to try a dish native to Portugal. It was delicious - so so delicious. I'm glad that they were able to veganize the native dish and execute it so well. For dessert, I ordered the Peanut & Chocolat Pie. I enjoyed it but I wouldn't order it again because it was slightly too rich for me, however, if you like dark chocolate, that is the dessert for you. I loved my experience here. This would be a great place for a date or night out with friends. The food is great and the vibe is better. Thank you Ao 26.

I'm afraid that was the most interesting part of the experience. Service was okay, but definitely not particularly friendly. We asked the server which was a good, traditional (albeit vegan version) Portuguese dish. She recommended the Supreme Bifana sandwich. So I ordered that. It came with sweet potato fries. I forget exactly what was in the sandwich, but it was pretty bland. There was a sauce that came with the dish and that was tasty. But the sandwich itself was meh at best. The fries were also disappointing. They were soggy and very oily. Dipping them in the sauce made them somewhat edible. So meh food and meh service equals a meh review.
