Eclectic menu covers most Tex-Mex and Aztec-Mex options. Mexican food purists need to relax a bit this far from the Mexican border; the food is very good - if not exactly true to all of the original recipes. We were seated quickly and they immeditely took our drink orders. Soft-drinks, beer, or a house Margarita. The maragarita was bland, but still appreciated - how can we enjoy Mexican food sans tequila?! Our Refried Bean Nacho appetizer was quite interesting; the beans were diluted (with milk?) until they were the consistency of soup. This style of Refried Beans serms common in the Ozarks, if not in Mexico. Tasty nonetheless. We split a Double-Order of Fajitas Tapatia; with beef, chicken, and shrimp. The meat and fixings were plenteous, there were plenty of tortillas, and the price was great. Enjoy!! We enjoyed it, but next time - beer is likely better than the margarita. read more

Average Mexican food. Good service. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a family restaurant.

Food is always great along with the kind service in such a great ambiance environment.

We felt like we were in a "fish bowl" which was very uncomfortable. I don't remember what I ordered as I was so confused. The bath room was very unclean so we won't be going back. We are still looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Harrison and are about to give up hope. I am used to Mex-Tex and they never put lima beans in their Spanish rice but so far every Mexican restaurant in Harrison does this. I have never seen this before anywhere. I am allergic to lima beans and hate having to pick these out. We sure miss La Casita in Colorado Springs.......very sad. read more

Where to begin. Before the fire, we had gotten our Mexican food craving satisfied here several times. My only complaint previously was they never seemed to have avocados. Today my visit was a charmer! After being seated, our waiter got us some water to quench our thirst. Shortly after that, he returned to take our order. I have been watching the table across from us eat their chips with salsa, and I began to get very jealous! I asked our waiter if we could please have some chips and salsa before we placed our order. Now I must interject that it was my wife and I, my 4 year old, and 2 year old...4 peeps. He proceeded to return approximately 5 minutes later with 2 buckets of chips, and 4 salsas! I assume he must of thought my youngsters wanted their own salsa... When it was order time, I asked if they could substitute flour for corn tortillas on my enchiladas. He said someone said no, would I like to talk to the big cheese - I did! He came over and said they couldn't do that, in which I replied that they had previously done it. He then said again, they couldn't. I then asked why, which he replied, "they are enchiladas, they are cooked to order with corn tortillas!" Ummm, ok... They made my wife's taco salad wrong, then the waiter said the cook apparently didn't see the notations. And for dessert, I asked for a cup for my guacamole, and he returned with a cup, and a new fangle lid that sits inside the container... instead of on top. There you go! Been here a few times and the food is decent, however today, on my 43rd wedding anniversary, after church we go here. My husband was parking the car so I go ahead and head into the restaurant. As soon as I open the door the owner, who is standing a good 15 feet from the door YELLS at me saying I need a mask to come inside. Now remember I have been here several times since March... it's now July 26th.... everyone in the restaurant turns to see who this man is yelling at. I was mortified. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If your that concerned over people wearing mask the stand outside and address it before you ever go in. Don't yell at people from across the restaurant. I own 3 restaurants and would never treat anyone with such disrespect. read more

Love the food! Service has been bad lately and if you don't leave a tip they cuss you out in Spanish. I still love this place. Nopalitos recently reopened after an extensive remodel. Friends and I went there for dinner to try out the new place. It took a very long time to have our orders taken and a long time for the food to arrive. When the food was placed on the table, it smelled like burned cheese. It tasted even worse and permeated everything on our plates. I ordered cheese enchiladas (How do you mess up that?) with half red sauce and half cheese sauce. They arrived with only the burned cheese. They were also so tough that they could not be cut. It was like shoe leather---AWFUL! There was no attempt to rectify our orders. But that is not all. The waitress gave each of the couples at the table their own charge; and we went to pay. A tip was added to the card. Two days later, we discovered that the charge to the card had been upped...more than what we received a receipt for. All ten of us who were present that night will never again patronize Nopalitos in Harrison, Arkansas. read more

Freaking AMAZING Mexican food WITH vegetarian dishes AND the owner can easily make them into vegan dishes...when you're on that long stretch of country road...drive thrus and crap food...this will make your day!!!! Good, standard, greasy Tex-Mex! There is a huge menu that has all the staples you'd expect: burritos, tacos, fajitas. I ordered a shrimp chimichanga and my friend had shrimp, chicken and steak fajitas. We also ordered a side of cheese sauce. Everything was delicious! The chips were fresh and the salsa was tasty. Our server was very friendly and kept my water filled. Some reviews said that the service was slow and they were slow to seat people, but it seemed like a pretty busy night when I was there and we had neither of those problems! read more

Chips and salsa were great! Hot & fresh chips with great Queso is reason why they received three stars instead of two because past that point I was very disappointed. My plate was their special with steak, chicken & shrimp. The steak & chicken were sad thin strips of leather by the time I got them. The shrimp flavor wasn't very good either. My friend got the 12oz ribeye, it came out COVERED in onions. When he cut into it, the meat was white. Not really even sure it was a ribeye as I was supposed to be. He didn't eat it or take it to go. My kids had tacos and one liked them and the other did not. If I could give advice...definitely stick with traditional, simple things like enchiladas & tacos. read more

My first review I'll be honest this place is a typical Mexican restaurant loud and busy. The fact that it's busy tells me it's good or maybe there's no other place open on Sunday's that's not fast food. If there's bad service its not because they're rude it's just really busy. And with that said food takes a long time waiting 15 minutes or longer now. I ordered the Plato ranchero Jalisco it was good but the chicken was lacking in seasoning. Other than that they served a pretty big portion over a bed of rice. All the food is pretty greasy so unless your looking to pack on calories then I would probably suggest something else. My husband got the Carne Asada he said it was good. I ordered the taco plate for my son (the beef taco was greasy) it came with rice and beans. The beans and rice were delicious they tasted homemade. We were just passing by on a road trip. Would we come again probably not its just too busy and service was not great because of that. But it was decent food. read more
