This is where most go to grab their fix for Mexican style food in Harrison AR. The place is big with a ton of seating and has great service. I got their Burrito Supreme and it was HUGE!!! The one problem is that they just give you a fork (no knife) in a bag so it was a bit challenging to cut this monster up!! Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The prices were extremely cheap and the portions were large. The flavor was a little less spicy that what I was used to. The service here is so amazing. The waitress was very friendly and able to cater to different dietary needs. The chips and salsa kept flowing. Today stopped in for late lunch. We ordered fajitas, steak and chicken. Hot and delicious. We also ordered the ranchero special no veggies with chicken. We had a large queso to get started. We were sat promptly. Salsa and chips were at our table immediately with drinks soon to follow. Our order was placed and the wait was short. The food was delicious, hot, and tasty! I'm calling it "Nacho Linda's" because this place is about as Anglo as you can get in a Mexican restaurant. 1) No Dos Equis, Pacifico or Tecate?? Okay, I get it, it's a family restaurant, but don't the parents deserve a nice beer with their food??? 2) Velveeta is not, nor ever has been, queso. Hell, I hesitate to call it a "cheese substitute". It certainly has no place anywhere other than a government warehouse shelf. 3) Enchiladas ALWAYS come covered with a sauce. The fact the waitress seemed confused when we asked for some sauce was not confidence-inspiring. Honestly, having a bunch of gringos running a Mexican restaurant is pretty sketchy. When I go to a Mexican place, I like seeing a bunch of guys in the kitchen who look like they'll bolt if I ask for more ice too loudly. Now for the positive. The service is good. The food is not bad tasting, it's just not "Mexican" (see points 2 and 3 above). read more

Don't go first thing after they open. I was thinking we would have a pleasant lunch. I suppose not giving them time to warm the kitchen was my fault (even though they opened at 11). I made the mistake of ordering fajitas for lunch. Not only was the fajita plate cold, the meat seems to have been leftovers from last night. It was chewy, but edible? Until i tried to add a fork-full of beans. I gagged and almost tossed the two bites I had already taken. They might be decent at dinner, but I'll not be back to find out. read more

The salsa on the table was good-I don't like spicy salsa-if you don't like spicy salsa then you will like it too...but the "food" was not good. They used a "liquid cheese sauce" for every plate at our table that contained cheese (nachos, quesadilla, and enchiladas). The fajita meat was cut into tiny-meager little pieces (cooked and shriveled up less than an inch long and maybe nickel wide) and were chewy and not fajita seasoned at all. Growing up in LA and eating Mexican food I can definitely say this barely even passes for Mexican food. Didn't take pictures because the plates did not look good-should of done so to prove what we got matches my written description/experience. read more

I travel all over the country for business and I love Mexican food. I always get the fajitas because I like to compare. Most places can't compete with my home town Mexican restaurant, but today, I found one. El Mexico Lindo is one that finally compares. And not only compares, I think it's BETTER!!! The chips and salsa were great. Chips were crispy and had a good flavor. The salsa had just enough heat. I had the seafood fajitas.....one word AMAZING. I wish I could come back tomorrow, but I have to leave. I also want to say that the service was really good and I got my food pretty fast. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! read more

Nice, clean restaurant. Servers were very helpful and attentive. I had the Enchiladas Mexicanas. Three stuffed corn tortillas each with a sauce reflecting the colors of the flag of Mexico. Their salsa verde was Muy Excelente! Wife had the grilled pork chicken soft tacos. She recommends them. Next time we visit Harrison we will back to eat here. read more

Dings: Poor location (hard to find), parking lot is dark, dining area is a bit untidy. Pluses: (1) Very tasty. We had their version of tacos al carbon and they were excellent. Although a bean tostada was not on the menu, they made one for me, it, also was excellent...so much that we ordered a side of beans...excellent. Complimentary chips were OK, sauce was OK & fresh. (2)Service was prompt and attentive. Order order arrived fast. (3) Fair prices. I WOULD RECOMMEND & WE WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK. About the "dings": The dining surfaces were clean but broken chips on the floor looked untidy. I know chips fall on the floor, get stepped on. They seemed to have plenty of staff, someone could run a roller under the tables and improve the looks tremendously. Outside lighting was just terrible. Old people (like me) could easily overlook a curb, slick spot, obstacle. Good luck finding it! It's well-hidden. Just look for Colton's Steakhouse and this place is behind it. The service at this restaurant could use some help. They also NEED another phone line to take phone orders. Don't even try to call ahead to place an order because you will be met with the busy signal. If it's after about 4:30, in the afternoon they get busy and it seems like someone who works there must take the phone off of the hook and ignore it, as to avoid receiving additional orders... I always try to call in food around the same time and I swear they will have a busy signal for 30+ minutes straight starting at 5pm. I have called an embarrassing amount of times during that 30 minutes and never got through, only got a busy tone. I don't believe that someone in the restaurant was on the phone for 30 whole minutes during rush-hour... Someone needs to enlist a bit of phone customer service etiquette and keep the phone from being left off of the hook EVERY time it gets busy in the evenings. PLEASE, get another phone line so you can at least answer! read more

Very good I have ordered the Ranchero Special about 30 times and it it a very good dish the service is great! And the wait for your food isn't very long. I recommend getting the cheese dip it it very delicious! Their salsa Is so good. They have charging ports at every table. Even USB one's! Having just moved here from Ft. Worth we were looking for a true Mexican food restaurant. The place is average at best and only then for Tex-Mex. Food is good however they have to be the stingiest Mexican restaurant in the world with their chips when ordering to go. I ordered 3 meals which all come with an individual salsa and you would think chips and I also ordered more chips and salsa and ended up getting the salsa's and a big cup of salsa with one small sandwich sized bag of chips. This has not been a one time occurrence either because it has been that way every time, that is why I always order more chips and salsa to feed my family and end up getting two bags if I am lucky. If you go inside it is not an issue at all because the chips are unlimited so I don't know why they are so stingy with to go orders. And I always tip even on to go orders.. read more

This place has great service as well as outstanding food me and my family came from mystic caverns (which I recommend to try) it didn't take long for our food to get out and the salsa was good so was the caso the sweet tea is great and they have a lot parking.
