Hello, Today, while…read moreat the Decorah Walmart, I witnessed an employee dumping trash into a larger bin without changing the liners (which were nasty) and taking items out of the trash to reuse (gross)! At one point, another staffer had to point out that a spray bottle this person pulled out of the trash was broken. Does cleanliness not matter? I quit using the self checks outs because they were regularly dirty, and staff pulled bags / hangers out of the trash to reuse and the frequent attitudes of staff. I will no longer patronize this store and will be talking to my husband about alternatives. Cleanliness needs to be a priority epically with the covid-19 and new fungus virus. P.S. management who won't help, short tempered stockers do not help. This Walmart is a sinking ship just like the defective products they sneak on their shelves to try and sell.

This one has an entertainment center that is larger than any other Walmart I have been in. Everything is up to date and they even have staff people who actually know what they are talking about. Now that is refreshing for a change. The only downfall is that this one has a McDonalds instead of Subway. The produce dept. which is of much interest to me is very large and well equipped as is the rest of the grocery area. If you can't find what you want then it doesn't exist. Downfall is the waiting line at the checkouts. They have 13 checkout stands which are not in operation.

When I walked in a group of 4 mutually diverse teens looked at me and I felt in my gut that they would attack me. I sped walked inside and quickly observed that a pizza place and a Chinese restaurant were feeding many starving people. I walked further more into the main area of the mall and got rammed by the security guard. Although he didn't physically touch me he touched my soul with his words and it cut deeper than a knife. We went in person and they said it wasn't until January 30th it would go on sale. So we called on the 1st of February 2026 and they said no that it's a Kay's signature cross so you won't get the sale price. The MANAGER Sheri Ayres and her male young coworker both were there both times and both said she would get the sale price. They will do anything to get you to purchase something. So disappointed and we will never go back.

To my surprise this mall was super dead for that time and day. It's like nobody lives in this town. Any who, the less people, the faster the shopping experience is. This small shopping center hosts standard mall-stores (A&E, B&BW, The Children's Place, Finish Line, Game Stop, GNC, KJ, Payless, Spencer's, VS, Zales., amongst others). Mall patrons are nice, and their stores are clean and well stocked. Great place for a good walk, and for a quick in-and-out shop.

They had plenty of staff on hand. And for 8 pm at night the store displays looked nice and organized. I was offered help several times. I ended up getting all my kids school clothes. Two pairs of shoes for each kid, underwear, socks, jeans, sweatshirts, pajamas and even a disco light. I had two carts full. Was scared the girl at the register would groan with disgust at all my stuff but she was chipper and enjoyed the challenge. Another employee came over and even helped bag. Another employee went and did a sku check when a shirt was missing a tag. I spent $1100 and had a coupon and a 20% off coupon. So my total was $870. I got $170 in kohls cash to spend next time. The service was there tonight and the employees were in good spirit.

She then proceeded to follow me around the store for about 20 minutes. I needed a few items for thanksgiving. I saw a friend in the store and was chatting about his knee surgery. Then she yelled at us like we were 16 years old to "GET OUT! YOUR DONE! WE NEED TO CLOSE THE STORE AND YOUR IN THE WAY". She was screaming at us like we were children. I am a grown adult shopping for some last minute Thanksgiving items and saw a friend. Sure were we a little loud? Yes. But it's Walmart, not a castle. Very very very upset. I got kicked out of a Walmart for the first time in my life.
