On the day of the window cleaning she did not have a ladder that allowed her to reach the second story windows. She clearly had no experience with exterior window cleaning. The interior service were barely satisfactory but I did continue booking with her because it was good enough. But over all she got about 1/2 of the work done as prior cleaners I have had over the years. She did not appear to know how to manage her time. On one visit she spent almost 1/2 of the time booked in 1 secondary bedroom and even bragged that she washed all the walls in that room which she knew was not regularly occupied, and then rushed through the downstairs with very little time in the kitchen. I always booked for 5 hours and she could not even touch the floors or do any vacuuming during her 5 hour scheduled cleanings. Past cleaners have thoroughly cleaned my entire home, including vacuuming all floors and upholstery and mop all hardwood floors. Then, today, an appointment scheduled for 9:00am, which was booked 2 months ago and confirmed yesterday, she cancelled less than two hours prior to her scheduled arrival. This was in response to my message that I told her I needed to cancel my scheduled OCTOBER appointment then to resume in November. She wrote back and told me it was a waste of her time. The request was only for labor services and was informed Mr Jose works with the contractor to expedite payment within 7 days. He stated he had all of the equipment to perform the job and only needed extra hands to clean. I was able to coordinate 16 hands to the rescue, but realized when we arrived he did not have the adequate supplies to properly perform our duties. The good news was, I came prepared and was able to supply mop buckets, sweepers and solutions at no additional charge. Our labor services were completed and invoices were submitted. After multiple attempts over 2 months to collect payment, a check for ~85% of the invoice was paid. The unpaid balance was discussed with Mr Jose and his response was the contractor possibly held on to a portion for retainage. I requested the contact information for the contractor, and was told he would not give me the information. My wife also requested the contact information from Mr Jose and his response to her was, "That is above your pay grade." I pride myself in honoring my word, whether I underestimate quotes for clients or working to try and help another cleaning company complete their job. I DO NOT recommend Mr Joses Cleaning Company or the company that currently purchased his cleaning company that he was bragging to my employees about. I 100% agree with building a small business to success, but I'd rather keep it fair and respectful.

I was hesitant to book the same day of the party because if something came up we wouldn't have any time to find another company. He spoke with my girlfriend and assured her how professional they were and that they always show up on time. I got a text at work at 2:35 that his team apparently "got a flat tire." Not only did they not show up, he didn't even tell us they weren't delayed they just wouldn't be coming until we followed up with him until 4:00pm. We even offered to go pick them up since they were apparently "in the area" but he wouldn't respond. The only compensation he offered was 50% off a future cleaning. I understand that things come up but a true professional would've found a way to fix the situation. He could have sent his team in an Uber or come himself but it seems like he just overbooked and couldn't be honest that he wasn't going to be able to follow through on the commitment he made. I was so disappointed because he seemed so great over the phone. I ended up having to leave work early and clean the house before the guests arrived. All in all, our party was amazing and we made the best of a bad situation. It's the day after and we still haven't been refunded for our deposit.
