The short of it is: My 80 year old MIL has been putting off getting a house cleaner for a very long time due to extremely high anxiety about, well, basically everything (and I mean EVERYTHING). Before finding Blue Rose Cleaning Services, I hadn't found a cleaner I felt would do the job in such a way as to reduce my MIL's anxiety. Cue Rosemeri! Oh my goodness. I found Blue Rose through a simple yelp search and decided to have them come by for a one time clean to try them out. Rosemeri herself was VERY responsive and communicative and flexible which was a plus when we were trying to schedule for her team to come by. So I had high hopes that the cleaning service would be excellent given the good start so far as well as the glowing reviews on Yelp and near 5 star rating. The cleaning itself was fine and her team of two cleaners were on time. However I had two issues. Her team of cleaners had completely missed cleaning baseboards in the master bathroom and also did not dust off some of the door handles not a big deal. The biggest issue was that when they had cleaned the stainless steel stovetop and my stainless steel sink, they had used some sort of an abrasive brush which left many scratches on a practically new stovetop and new sink. The sink and stovetop look damaged now. The stovetops lettering and brand logo is also peeling off due to the abrasive brush or cleaning tool they used. Stainless steel should only be cleaned using a soft sponge/brush and cleaning should be done with the grain. Not sure if I would use them again because of this. read more

I used the Yelp service request or project feature to find residential deep cleaning services for my 3 bed 2 bath. Rosemeri was very prompt in her communication and clear. She gave dates and prices and a list of services to expect. She also on the day of told me the names of the cleaners and who to give payment to. She also directed me to put fresh sheets on each bed I wanted changed. On the day of, the the cleaners arrived right on time and checked in about specifics of the service (deep clean, refrigerator, and oven) and then they set to work starting where I requested and working towards the front door. Because I asked, they reassured me multiple times that they didn't need any help, aside from a couple of trash bags. They took care of everything in about 3 hours. I will say there were a few things put back in the wrong places and they emptied all the trash cans without asking for new liners. So it would have been nice to know ahead of time to put fresh liners on or near each wastebasket. Also, I found that the trash bags and some used gloves had been placed in my yard waste bin, forcing me to dig them out. The house looked great, had a bit of a fragrance and we settled the account at the end of the service. I would definitely hire them again. read more

For our level of cleaning (essentially a little above regular household cleaning) for 3,400 sq ft double story home. 3.5 baths. 4 bedrooms. Sink, stove, floor boards, bathroom with toilet and sinks, windows, fans, mop and broom. It was fairly priced compare to other quotes. Offered to use personal cleaning supplies and vacuum or use ours if requested. She came well prepared. Finished in timely manner as well. You could tell by the way she raised her son that her work ethic is excellent. She was kind and friendly to our two dogs as well. Very thorough and they were quick to check in whenever they had questions. They even organized my clutter once they'd cleaned under and around it, which I love.
