Tons of cool things to do nearby, including crossing over to Canada to visit FDR's summer cottage. We enjoyed visiting the local brewery and talking w the locals.

By the time we were served our food, many people had come and gone, and the lunch rush had long since been over. When asked about the delay, the waitress stated, that because pizza were "faster to make because they have a new pizza oven. Therefore pizzas were the priority." Apparently, since they could not even manage to make a well done burger.

My son likes the broccoli Alfredo it even reheated nicely. The Ruben was good but I asked for extra sauerkraut they wish I could've gotten more. The bread was good toasted and had good flavor. We took home the berry spare dessert it was very good. The water wasn't bad. Typical soda selections. We been a couple of times and probably will go back. He got us shoes and made sure we knew how to play. After a quick explanation he let us choose our lane! We were the only ones bowling so there were a few to choose from. I think they had 12 lanes. If you've never bowled candle pin make sure you give it a shot! There is a concession stand where you can get munchies, soda, beer, and candy. Bowling was very affordable! For the two of us two games with shoes was $20. Definitely will return when in the area!

Walking around the property is a literal scavenger hunt, with vast berry patches, live animals, and a miniature waterfall. You can't quite see Canada (seven miles to the east) from the observatory, but you'll have a tremendous view of the area. I strongly encourage you to stop by Goughan's, pet some bunnies, play some golf, eat some strawberries and onion rings, finish with ice cream, and take something to go. I wish the gift shop had more jams when we visited, but you can't have everything.
