He is courteous, professional and clean. He came on time and was very careful wearing booties, laying out his blanket and cleaning up after the job. I was so frustrated with my 4-pin CFLs which broke almost every time I removed them. They release a mercury powder 20 times the safe limit per bulb according to the EPA. I have kids and pets and wanted to make sure that those toxic bulbs were out of the house. The CFLs use 26 watts per bulb are supposed to last 12,000 hours which for my kitchen came out to 1.5 years :( The LEDs are 14 watts each and last 50,000 hours, so not only do you eliminate the toxicity, but you gain 5 times the usage! Cost savings in both bulbs and electricity minus the toxicity. It was a no brainer for me. I highly recommend. Mike is knowledgable and approachable and while he was here he consulted me on some other electrical needs I had at home.

But i called active power and Hayden had a great solution to install 8" can lights in place of the previous ones, which are perfect. I can now say my kitchen is finally done. He was also able to hang a chandelier on a 20' ceiling by himself, which the previous company refused to do. Prices were very reasonable as well. The owner also told us his floors have a lifetime warranty as long as the work is completed by them, thought wow that's a great deal. Upon the job being completed I told the installer I see a bunch of damaged floors and he told me you can't have perfect it's just how they are. I don't want perfect, I want consistent. 13 boards damaged, missing the pattern like it was just scratched off. So my brand new floors look old and damaged in some areas. I called the owner who came out to our home to assess the issues, he assured me he will send someone out to swap the boards, said sometimes that happens and the print doesn't get into the boards properly so I thought ok, at least it's going to be fixed. Then he completely ghosted us, never called and will not even return my call. I left multiple messages on the company phone, his personal line and e mailed them. Why say you're going to fix them then never show up. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in the Temecula Valley. Save your money and give it to a professional business, this place is garbage.

We hired KC Floors Feb. 19 to install flooring and baseboard in our 1,760 sqft home. It is now April 6th and all of the corrections are just being finalized. Where to begin... Dave, the sales guy, was a nice guy but measured the flooring wrong and a few days into the job the sub-contractor, MIGUEL & SONS, had to drive to L.A. to grab 300 sqft. MIGUEL & SONS are complete hacks. If KC Floors tries to send them to your house refuse entry. They had a crew of roughly five guys that were terrible. They broke the supports under our bed when moving it and did not tell us, they tried to repair baseboards with drywall mud and it had to be ripped out, they did not remove the underlayment and the floors were uneven in many of the rooms and they had to come back and remove two of the bedrooms and reinstall the flooring. When Miguel came back to do they repairs he was mad and uncooperative. When KC floors tried to send Miguel a third time I refused to let him in. He, and his company are not capable of completing the job the correct way. (see photos) The owner refused to take my calls and requested that all correspondence be via email. This was actually better because the information the office was providing me and the information the owner provided contradicted each other. The owner also was requesting final payment, which I refused because the job as of now has still not been completed. I could go on but at this point it's not worth it. If you are looking for a cheap price, bad work, terrible communication and a job that should be completed in 7 business days taking 2 months you are in the right place. Your search is over. Call them today! If you want a job done right pay the extra money and go somewhere else.
