I even showed up at the local office -- all I got were pathetic excuses and zero accountability. The demo company and I have already filed complaints with the contractors board and the financing company because this man thinks he can just take people's money and run. How does a grown man blatantly steal, lie through his teeth, and operate with zero integrity? Every response he posts to negative reviews is defensive, rude, and dripping with shady behavior. He cannot be trusted. Nothing he says is real. And I have the documentation to back every bit of this up. I wish I had dug deeper before hiring him. If I can stop even one person from getting screwed the way we did, then at least this disaster serves a purpose.

I hired Flooring Direct Temecula to replace the flooring throughout my home. On June 22, 2026, I signed a contract for laminate flooring and paid the required deposit to pay for materials. The installation began but stopped abruptly after only part of the flooring was installed because there were no remaining materials. What followed was one of the worst customer service nightmares I have ever had. For more than two weeks, the owner, Bill Norris, completely disappeared. My repeated phone calls and text messages went unanswered. I received absolutely no communication explaining why my home had been left in pieces. During that same time: * The installer told me he had not been paid. * The delivery driver told me he could not reach Bill. * A salesperson ( His son Billy) at Flooring Direct Temecula also told me he could not get Bill to answer his calls. Think about that for a moment. Not only could the customer not reach the owner, but his own employees and subcontractors couldn't reach him either. Because no one would communicate with me, I had to investigate the situation myself. I contacted the flooring manufacturer directly and discovered that only part of my flooring order had ever been purchased. The remaining flooring required to finish my home was sitting at the manufacturer because it had never been paid for. As the homeowner, I was told I could not obtain my own flooring because only the contractor could authorize and pay for its release. Meanwhile, my home was left with exposed subfloors, furniture piled everywhere, and rooms that were unusable. No phone call. No explanation. No plan. No concern for the customer. I ultimately had to open a dispute with Chase Visa to protect my money. I also filed felony charges!!!!!!!!!!! Only after I escalated the situation and informed Bill that I was involving the police to document what had happened and finally pressed formal criminal charges did he finally contact me. This entire situation could have been handled differently with honest communication. Instead, I was left chasing answers from installers, delivery drivers, and manufacturers because the person responsible for my project simply disappeared. This wasn't simply a delayed job. This was a complete breakdown in communication and professionalism that left my family living in an unfinished construction zone while we had no idea whether our project would ever be completed. I strongly encourage anyone considering Flooring Direct Temecula to do extensive research, verify everything independently, and understand exactly who is responsible for your project before paying a deposit. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

First, our rep Robert came to our house with tons of options and suggestions. He was able to give us a wide variety and help us select something that uniquely fit our style and budget. He was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly with any questions we had. When we came to the showroom, Robert dopped everything to lead us through the selection process. We could tell he was highly knowledgeable and much more intent on making us happy rather than upselling us on unnecessary products. When instillation day came our installers, Miguel and Israel, were also very professional and highly knowledgeable and skilled. Rarely have I seen harder workers than these two! Their attention to detail--such as lining up the carpet pattern on the stairs and making sure the cut pattern on the risers were balanced--was impressive. The entire job, including moving large furniture, was completed in two days. We couldn't be more pleased! Unfortunately, this left us feeling that the focus was more on maximizing the project value than on addressing our actual needs as customers. The reason for my 1-star rating is because when we were ready to schedule, we called and called and no one ever answered. My husband also tried and left messages that were never returned. I know they are a busy company, but it shouldn't be that hard to schedule once a quote has been provided. Perhaps Doug needs to hire a receptionist to help with phones. We ended up going with another company and I'm so glad we did. They did a wonderful job! They were also Yelp verified and backed by a $2,500 protection by Yelp. We chose a smaller company where we had direct access to the owner and communication was never a problem. The owner was also onsite every day of the job.

As the project manager, Mike Gast was extremely patient and accommodating, and provided lots of feedback to solve various issues. This was a large project that involved removing the garage door, retrofitting 3 sets of doors, framing and finishing for a custom look, inside and out. They even installed special thresholds so we could be assured of being able to roll equipment in and out of the space easily. After each stage of the job, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all debris. The price quoted us initially was in line with competitors, better than several, who failed to follow up with us. There was no cost-creep, and we finished at the price quoted us. Progress and payment was tracked on their online job project site, which was an added benefit and inspired confidence. I can highly recommend Mastercraft and hope to use them in the near future for several other home improvement projects. I don't want perfect, I want consistent. 13 boards damaged, missing the pattern like it was just scratched off. So my brand new floors look old and damaged in some areas. I called the owner who came out to our home to assess the issues, he assured me he will send someone out to swap the boards, said sometimes that happens and the print doesn't get into the boards properly so I thought ok, at least it's going to be fixed. Then he completely ghosted us, never called and will not even return my call. I left multiple messages on the company phone, his personal line and e mailed them. Why say you're going to fix them then never show up. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in the Temecula Valley. Save your money and give it to a professional business, this place is garbage.

Tile was beautiful, the installers not so great. Left a hole (missing piece by my staircase and when I pointed this out to them, they said the carpet would cover it. WHAT?! NO!!! Then the grout used would come off a bit every time I cleaned my floors. Went back to the office to speak with Dave the owner. Sent pics, kept saying they would handle it. Nothing. Then stopped accepting my calls and wouldn't return any calls. This went on for a couple of months. Finally took to small claims. Judge ruled in my favor. They sent out another company from Rainbow or Bonsall to fix their mistake. When they showed up, they were told the job was a lot smaller than KC Floors told them it was. They were not happy either. Save yourself and your money from the scam, go elsewhere. Not good people, not good business.

Todd from Oz Stone & Ceramics is hands down the best contractor we've ever worked with!…read more We had been procrastinating on replacing the original shower in our home that was built in 2007. All of the quotes we got were outrageous - including a $24,000 quote from ReBath we had to suffer through a 3-hour presentation in our home just to hear. And that stuff is just plastic! Anyway, we knew we wanted something custom, which included: 1. Full demo / removal of the old bench seat 2. Floor-to ceiling large tiles (Minimal grout lines) 3. Custom floor (No pre-fab pan) 4. Dual shower head with 3-way valve 5. Frameless door 6. New vent fan (Our old one couldn't keep the mold out) You can see from the video our original shower was just gross. The caulking was worn out, there was water damage on the wall from leaks and mold, the tile was dated and I had to duck under the frame of the door every time I entered the shower. Todd came in for a quote and was super professional right from the start. He gave his honest advice on our design ideas and worked with us to find the right price for the work. I'm old school so these things matter to me - he looks you in the eye when speaking to you, explains things plainly and always shows up on time. He made a great first impression AND his quote was very reasonable. From demo to final product it took about 6 business days. Todd was very tidy and made sure to always pick up his mess at the end of each day. Honestly he was so neat he really didn't have much to pick up since he was always vacuuming and taping things off so well during the process. He was sure to check in with us throughout each day, making sure we liked the progress and asking approval when needed. He did all of the plumbing, electrical and tile work himself! We needed a custom piece of glass to fit our odd-shaped shower frame and he brought in Jose from Nwegen shower doors - he's worked with him for more than 16 years. Jose did an amazing job on (what I consider) a giant piece of custom glass and industrial hinges. First thing the Jose said to me when he got here was "I love working with Todd because I never have to second guess his measurements and things are always level." Seems like simple stuff but you know how they slap houses together now - things are rarely level to begin with. We are absolutely ecstatic about our new shower. There is so much more room inside, the dual shower heads are awesome and easy to adjust and best of all - no more ducking under the bar to get inside! Todd was so great to work with we were already hitting him with ideas for the rest of the bathroom before he was halfway finished with the shower. We have used several different contractors on our home and he has been by FAR the best professional connection we have made. Can't recommend him highly enough.

I 100% recommend Peraza's Renovations!…read more We had a pipe burst in our wall damaging drywall, flooring and kitchen cabinets. Jose Peraza came out on a Saturday morning and gave us a quote to replace the removed drywall, texture and paint. His pricing was reasonable and said he could start Monday morning. Jose and his employee showed up first thing Monday morning and went straight to work. I was telling him that our fluorescent light panel in the ceiling of our kitchen was hideous and was planning on taking it out in the future and replacing it with light fixtures. Jose said he would rip it out and wire two cans in for us at no extra charge and ensure the drywall looked good. Wasn't in my plans but said sure. I also had some old telephone wall plates he patched up for no extra charge. In fact , Jose did a lot of little extras to make the place look good. Jose even replaced electrical outlets to ensure all of them matched through the house. On Thursday they finished and everything looked great and seamless! Jose and Mia were very pleasant to work with... Got to know Jose during the week and he's a totally awesome person... we had some laughs as well. I have worked with a few contractors in the Murrieta area and Jose has most definitely been the best I've worked with. Perazas Renovations do way more than what I needed, but will certainly use them in the future! By the way Jose... we hung the lights in the kitchen and they look awesome!!!
