His name is Mason and you can easily contact him if you have a question or query. Mason is always going the extra mile to give his customers the newest things on the horizon, whether they are UV/Red Light/Spray Tanning related or not. For a while he had things to make my teeth look nice and whiter. Heck I've even bought cool Vintage Clothes for my girlfriend there. The things he sells in his front area are always way more reasonable than if you got them at a specialty shop further down Melrose Ave, too. Melrose Tanning Co is clean. The bulbs are fresh. The employees are always cool and relaxed. And the prices are highly reasonable. They're dog friendly, and kid friendly too. It's just a really nice local business that one hopes will last forever. Beds are always well maintained including bulbs, etc. The girls who work there as well are always the sweetest too. Not to mention Mas keeps the salon open most holidays if not all (for us with the holiday blues who need a tan pick-me-up ). They also sell super cute jewelry & clothes (thrift-style shopping) which I've always loved as well. Bottom line is Melrose Tanning has become like a little sanctuary for me, I could go on about why it's a phenomenal company but I think ya got the point!

They have a wide range of bed options, and I was able to get a great tan for my event within a week. They also offer really good products for purchase. She was all prepared, showered, and had her loofah with her, excited to enjoy the experience before we flew out the next day. To our complete shock, they refused to let me gift her one of my credits. No compassion, no flexibility, no customer service. Just a hard "no," even though the credit was paid for and she was only in town briefly. It was upsetting, embarrassing, and honestly baffling. We walked out extremely disappointed. For a business that should value loyal customers, their rigidity and lack of kindness was really disheartening. I've had a very pleasant experience with Bronze Buns as a very pale girlie trying to get a summer…read morebase tan. I got a solid base in 1.5 months but I imagine girls with more melanin will tan even faster. I burn very easily, and Shakira (hope I'm spelling it right) took so much time helping me understand the different beds, prices, tanning lotions, etc. She always remembers me when I go in, and makes sure i have extra towels and leave with a free cold drink. She is just the sweetest. She listens and checks in regularly, and made sure I started with extremely short sessions (2 minutes) and worked my way up. She also let me upgrade to the premium bed for free a couple times to see what it was like, and even let me try out her personal premium tan accelerator lotion that was out of budget for me. Now with my base tan I feel cuter in shorts and dresses, and I notice that I can actually walk around outside for a few minutes without immediately burning my chest and arms. Yay!
