First things, it's really hard to find, it's…read morein an obvious location but due to the hedge all the way round it, it's really easy to drive past, so if driving make sure you're extremely certain as to where it is! The first time I visited, we ended up driving round Norwich an extra hour looking for it. The parking is right outside the hotel doors and is free, it's a fairly safe car park as well as it's monitered by CCTV. There are also ladies only and disabled spots right outside the door. Inside the hotel is probably in need of a decoration update but in terms of what it offers and the comfort I found that the decor didn't really bother me. The main entrance has a huge fountain with a reception on the left. There is also a bar, a seated area and a resturant in this area too. The rooms are all to the back right. Some of the rooms are situated on the ground floor and some on the first. In general the beds are really comfortable, TVs are in every room and there is a large desk with a mirror that can act as a dressing table or work bench depending on your choice. The bathroom includes a bath, toilet and sink with a shower fixed in the bath. Water tends to heat up quick and on the times I've stayed there's been no problems with the water suddenly going cold! I've never had a dinner or lunch there as we've only stayed bed and breakfast, but the breakfast is absolutely delicious. You get shown to a table and offered toast and tea and then you're left to collect the rest of it from a self service buffet. There's cooked breakfast on offer which is gorgeous and then loads of cereals, fruits and yoghurts. It's hard to stop yourself going back for more! The hotel price isn't bad for what you're getting and generally it's worth every penny.

The classic combination of warm colours and traditional Georgian features create an intimate, restful environment for a pre dinner drink in the library or other other equaly impressivly decorated rooms. The chef has created an extensive choice of exquisite dishes to be enjoyed in the restaurant which overlooks private gardens and woodland providing an elegant backdrop as you dine. They stock many wines from around the globe and the experienced staff can guide with the ideal bottle to accompany your meal. Although the quality and surroundings reflect in the price, it is well worth a visit for that special occasion.

Few tips for American travelers, bring your European travel plug adapter, they do have a few to loan at the front desk. The rooms offer a good view. Get an odd numbered room and it looks out over the stadium, otherwise the even number rooms are quieter and usually a bit cheaper price if there is a game. Food is good, typical "buffet" style breakfast for a decent price. There are a few places within walking distance to get a bite, most are with 1.5 mile round trip. Free wifi, always important is decent, wouldn't say it's great, but that's why I am sure they offer a pay version as well that I am sure better Spending a week here, half way through and so far, very pleased So week over, heading home. Over all, the hotel was exactly what it was supposed to be for a trip without the family and for work. Was clean, comfortable and enjoyable. the food is safe (always nice) and good. The ensuite bathroom was small but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. The room also had a well-stocked fridge with drinks and snacks, coffee & tea-making facilities and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. They serve good hearty breakfasts in a pleasant dining room, and it's all maintained by hospitable and friendly - but not overbearing - hosts. I'd recommend Beaumont House without hesitation.

It was the best service we received during our entire visit to Europe. Really made us think about the difference that one person can make to your entire experience of a place. Enjoy the cliffs east of Weybourne. Don't forget to go to Wroxham to join the Narrow gauge Bure Valley steam railway. And then theres the market town of North Walsham. There is a famous pier at Cromer, which is a Regency town. Visit the medieval church. Don't forget Salhouse a quiet village.

The important thing to know is that this unmanned station has 19 steep steps between the roadway and the station platform and that during the daytime the trains only stop here every 2 hours. The railway bridge going over the road is an attractive architectural, feature with its forests on either side where it is home for some lovely woodland birds and wild flora. Now with the new Amazona Zoo open, people travelling to it on public transport may well find this station the best point to alight, as it will be a downhill walk alongside attractive farmland to reach the zoo entrance and avoid the busy town.
