I've stayed here twice now and I can utterly rate it. First things, it's really hard to find, it's in an obvious location but due to the hedge all the way round it, it's really easy to drive past, so if driving make sure you're extremely certain as to where it is! The first time I visited, we ended up driving round Norwich an extra hour looking for it.
The parking is right outside the hotel doors and is free, it's a fairly safe car park as well as it's monitered by CCTV. There are also ladies only and disabled spots right outside the door.
Inside the hotel is probably in need of a decoration update but in terms of what it offers and the comfort I found that the decor didn't really bother me.
The main entrance has a huge fountain with a reception on the left. There is also a bar, a seated area and a resturant in this area too. The rooms are all to the back right. Some of the rooms are situated on the ground floor and some on the first.
In general the beds are really comfortable, TVs are in every room and there is a large desk with a mirror that can act as a dressing table or work bench depending on your choice. The bathroom includes a bath, toilet and sink with a shower fixed in the bath. Water tends to heat up quick and on the times I've stayed there's been no problems with the water suddenly going cold!
I've never had a dinner or lunch there as we've only stayed bed and breakfast, but the breakfast is absolutely delicious. You get shown to a table and offered toast and tea and then you're left to collect the rest of it from a self service buffet. There's cooked breakfast on offer which is gorgeous and then loads of cereals, fruits and yoghurts. It's hard to stop yourself going back for more!
The hotel price isn't bad for what you're getting and generally it's worth every penny. read more
