A little bio about myself is I'm almost thirty I'm a former U.S Marine. I currently am a construction worker. ( BTW no I do not have P.T.S.D) I have never seen a therapist! Up until now literally. I 6months ago had the typical "STEREOTYPE/STIGMA" about talking to people especially a therapist or counselor. You all know what I mean talking to someone means (YOUR MENTALY WEAK/NOT STRONG!) My life 6months ago sort of... Not sort of it defiantly spiraled out of control ( me being a typical person needing control) and the usual average " JOE" so to say. I had many issues going on basically I was losing it and I truly needed help then a close friend confined in me he has spoken to a therapist before and he recommend I talk to someone. So after a week or so of searching which sucked. I stumbled on NORM!!!! I really am not very religious by no means... BUT! I will say this.I was definitely lucky and/or I was ment to find NORM. Now I want to Yell it to the world!!!!!! Because NORM has truly helped me in more ways then anyone could imagine ESPECIALLY myself! I have had multiple issues and NORM simplified life as a whole he gives you the input you may or may not want to hear but you definitely need to hear! NORM helps you take life one day at a time and control what you can. NORM is GREAT in ANY ASPECT but he does sort of specialize in "Cognitive Behavior" and OHHH does that help anyone/everyone!...Trust me I know. That all has helped me to stop or slow my "freting" so to say especially over what I/you cant control and how to try to adjust your reaction to everything....Long story short I truly OWE NORM so much more then anyone can imagine and my Fiancé would agree how much its helped when our personal problems weren't really even the issue at all I sort of used it at the excuse for my issues especially with her even though she didn't know/no on knew I was talking to someone until I talked to her and let her know I even apologized for taking out what wasn't her fault on her( trust me im not one to do that).So again I mean it whole heartedly NORM DASENBROOK has helped more then anyone could and/or probably would, and the best thing about him is he leads you in the right direction! Two months ago myself and NORM realized we would only have two months left together. Do to some crappy circumstances it is what it is but....The point is he guided me to another option I had available he continues to keep in touch which by all mean he doesn't have to do and he gets no monetary value for it...trust me I don't have it! But to him it seems like it doesn't matter he just cares! HOW MANY CAN SAY THE IN THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM........ and now I have a new therapist He said was ok and let me know through email to please keep in touch he is the most genuine individual when I've dealt with in my present situation and maybe even perhaps my life...... when the day comes I can come back to him. Or I can pay it forward. I will for the rest of my life! Even just to talk about minor issues Norm is the most genuine caring guy your not just another dollar in his pocket you are someone and you MATTER.
