They say they do this to make sure that their dementia patients are not being abused - I am all for that. They left her alone for 25 minutes which is unacceptable. Refused to let me in with her. She crying, confused and agitated by the time they let me in with her. It's not humane. If you insist on this policy, please plan this so the time they are alone is minimal, if at all. I tried for 6 months to reach the office manager to discuss this with him, left messages weekly and when Carlos finally called me back, he defended the policy, and hung up on me. Jessica King NP provided excellent care to my mom, and we are grateful for her. Getting prescriptions filled takes forever. They rarely answer the phone, and when they do they office staff is very nice, and they take messages that rarely get returned, or result in prescriptions being called in. Walgreens tries so hard to get through to them and can't either. We tried & tried because mom really liked Jessica, but dealing with the office was so difficult that we had to leave the practice. Saw Dr. Kealy a few times, and it she was rude to mom, barely examined her and did not listen to us. Jessica Kung, NP is the gold standard at this office, and the only thing good there. She deserves 5 stars, office deserves none. Strongly recommend going somewhere else.

She spent at least 30 minutes going over every detail about my 2 year old and our family history. She was so patient, kind and knowledgeable. My daughter typically is terrified of the doctors office but Dr. Fernandez was able to get her comfortable and calmed her nerves. From the moment we walked in everyone was fantastic and welcoming. My daughter left with a smile on her face and a lollipop and sticker in hand. I am so happy I found Dr.Fernandez and her staff. We found our family pediatrician and she's located only 5 minutes from our home. I will highly recommend her to all my friends and family that have kids. So recommend you check her out. Bonus: First time my daughter left without tears! The RN that pricked my daughter finger was super fast and efficient. I closed my daughters eyes and she was done within seconds. The medical assistant was also super professional and knowledgeable about insurance questions. I think she was the MA and reception. Thank you for giving myself, daughter and even grandma who joined me a great experience.

I had to wait another month to be rescheduled. Finally got the doctor to see me, and prescribed a prescription but upon hearing from the pharmacy, they needed to reach out to the doctor for further information on the prescription. It's been two weeks since the prescription was submitted, and the doctor has not responded to the pharmacy's message. I would avoid going to this doctor and deal with the office staff. You're so amazing! Fast forward to my appt... In the order of who I saw, started w/ Jaime, Gina, Reann, Dr Leslie Kim, Greg, Kristen, Melvi (MRI) Dr Kim was exactly who I wanted to see. When researching around for a Orthopedic Dr. I thought I wanted this other person but reviews showed they make Patients wait an hr and they rush through appts to move on to the next one. Dr Kim is so welcoming, love his demeanor, so calm, thorough, professional, captivating, not once did he rush me. It didn't even feel like a Dr/Patient experience where sometimes it feels awkward. He treated me as a friend or loved one. You can tell it is his mission to help heal one person at a time. Loved the examination. So happy they had an X-Ray machine in the office, didn't have to send me to another place. I was very estatic w/ the news to start the journey of treatment back to feeling well. I wish my appt never ended. Dr Kim...can I rent your time by the hour?!?! The front desk receptionists were rude and unwelcoming. They spoke among themselves in another language while making facial expressions that felt disrespectful, which created an uncomfortable environment. This behavior significantly impacted my experience before I even saw the provider. I also wanted to ask whether there is a reason translators are not available for non-English-speaking patients. Clear communication is essential in a healthcare setting, and this seems like an important area that could be improved to better support patients. This is something that truly needs to be addressed, as the mood of the visit is already affected at check-in. I hope this feedback can be used to improve customer service and ensure a more respectful, inclusive experience for all patients.

If we could, we would have stayed with Kaiser, but that's not an option b/c the mister's work doesn't offer it. I logged into the health care providers site and there were over 100 doctors to choose from. OY! How the heck do I choose? Thankfully a friend of ours takes her children to BAP and she had 2 names of doctors that she would recommend. Thankfully those 2 doctors were listed in the names that were available to us. There is a rather large parking lot behind the medical building, but it seems that most of the employees park there. I was warned by my friend that sometimes getting a space can be a b!tch. Thankfully our appointment was at 9AM, so there were still a few parking spaces available. When we came out everything was full, and people were waiting for people to leave. *Note to self: Schedule early appointments. The waiting area space is okay. Lots of things for the kids to do which I'm not used to with Kaiser. The lilmiss went straight for the playhouse. Kids were playing with the various tables and the walls were appropriately decorated with children's artwork. There were a few magazines for the parents and plenty of books for the children. Unlike Kaiser we were seen right away. Which is nice. I didn't even get a chance to finish my paperwork. One thing I didn't like were the exam rooms. They seemed very dated, like they needed some TLC. Another thing was the infant scale was located all the out by the entrance. I was asked to remove my daughter's clothes and leave on her diaper and carry her out and around to the scales. Thankfully it wasn't too chilly, but still! The nurse weighed her with her diaper on too which I know was full and added some weight to her reading, inaccuracy. Either I'm too used to Kaiser or I just don't know. Normally we're given a sheet of paper for milestones to expect as well as height and weight written down. We're also given the option to schedule the next appointment, seeing as how it will be in another 2 months. I have my likes and dislikes for BAP, but I'm sure there will be some things that I need to get used to after being in a system like Kaiser for 9 years.

Having come from an awful experience at Kaiser, I was looking for a competent, compassionate, and responsive pediatrician. Dr. Zaglin has far exceeded my expectations. The first appointment was the 18 month check up for my daughter. My daughter was very anxious and cried. Dr. Zaglin took the time to ease his way into her good graces and now when I ask if she wants to see Dr. Zaglin she says "Yes he gives stickers!" We have seen Dr. Zaglin three times since then and he has always been very caring towards my daughter. He speaks to her directly and gets her to warm up to him before he begins examining her. He also takes an interest in other non-medical issues like her sleep patterns and language development. At Kaiser they told me that her sleep issues were not their concern and not a health issue. THANK YOU Dr. ZAGLIN and your wonderful team for providing this first time mom with peace of mind that you truly have my child's best interest at heart.
