The two stars are for the pool, which was fine. But this place operates via poor business practices. Beware: If hoping to use the pool, you run the risk of wasting your money if weather conditions are poor, and do not expect them to forewarn you. Before you pay, inquire about their approaxch to current weather conditions. Together, our family spent about $80 for 3 adults and 5 children to swim. Immediately after entering the locker room, we were advised that we would not be allowed to swim due to a brewing storm. We were also informed that there would be no refunds, despite the fact that we had just paid 3 minutes prior. No exaggeration. After some back and forth with some clueless, albeit sweet teen workers, the manager indicated that she would "graciously" make an exception this one time by granting us a pass that expired in 3 days!!! Once again, we debated with her the difficulty of trying to reconvene our entire party during the work week. So, begrudgingly, she crossed out the handwritten date on the pass and extended the pass another week. Discretion. This word was entirely lost on the manager/facility. Her willingness to offer a refund and/or provide passes was at her discretion. Clearly it is unethical to take a family's money and simply say, "tough luck." There's a reason the passes exist. And if you can cross out one date, that means you have complete discretion to do whatever it takes to make people feel like they are not being swindled out of what is for many no small amount of money. To the manager: You didn't do us a favor! Your practices are foul and unethical. We were the ones who compromised WITH YOU! To the facility: Do better! read more

$30 for 2 kids and 2 adults is pretty pricy. The front desk lady was probably the nicest employee there. The life guards (ladies) are very rude and unfriendly. They said "no spinning in the water", "no jumping", "no diving"... I'm better off not breathing. My sister couldn't even use her goggles when she has an eye condition that requires her to wear them while in pool. If you're looking to have fun, this is definitely not the place to go. Very poor business practices. Tried reaching 3 different management personnel on 2 separate occasions. There has been no contact made. The staff I tried dealing with was not helpful, nor very nice, lots of whispering while I was trying to resolve an issue. This pool is GREAT. You have a big pool for every to swim in it goes from 3ft deep to 6 ft. It also has a baby pool for all the little kids. They also have two slides that are real fun to go down. One is a single person slide and the other one is a tube slide. I would recommend this pool on a hot day read more

Unfortunately I have had an expensive purse, wallet, cell phone, children's prescription glasses, cash and identification stolen from a locked locker supplied by Norridge pool. The staff did nothing about it. Unfortunately because the locker was not damaged and in the locked position I have no choice other than to think that my missing purse was indeed an inside job, by someone who had possession of a master key. If this had not happened, or if Norridge tried to make an insurance claim my rating would have been much higher. The pool itself is wonderful...just don't use their lockers, or bring any money in with you! read more

I love this pool! I haven't been here in years up until yesterday. We are Chicago residents so we had to pay but totally worth it on such a hot day. The pool is just as clean and lovely as I remember. Much cleaner then the Chicago public pools. Don't listen to the bad reviews left here. People are really reaching for anything to complain about. No music and run by teenagers?? Seriously get a grip people lol. Literally every pool I've ever been to has had teenage lifeguards. Not a new concept here. I really appreciate the adult area and that they have adult swim time. Ignore the reviews on here and just go enjoy this pool. I would totally get a pool pass and come here all the time if I lived closer. read more

Not very fond of the rules at this pool. First of all -- you are unable to move your seats! For some odd reason they are tied down -- so positioning is very restrictive and cramped (seats are too close to one another) In addition you MUST come early to get a seat -- seating is very limited -- it's first come first serve -- you need to make a mad dash or you'll be stuck without a seat! Another thing which I found very odd is that there is NO MUSIC! Seriously -- every pool I have ever been too has music -- it's certainly more pleasant to listen to than screaming children and parents in the pool. Overall I wish it would be more FUN and RELAXING....it isn't!! read more

Trying to get a refund on pool passes...Have only gone twice, both times the splash pad was broken and the pool heater was broken. Kiddie pool is filthy and full of leaves. The eating area looks filthy from far away so we never go. The swim lessons are a JOKE. All these years of money down the toilet for swim lessons. My son (1), daughter (3), and I went to the pool today. It was a hike from the parking lot to the front desk! $20 for us as non residents got us in for the day. We spent the afternoon in the 0-2ft pool and splash pad. It was well maintained and relatively clean. The health breaks every hour or so were hard for the kids to understand why they had to get out of the pool. The slide and large pool looked nice, but we didn't go in. I'll be back to this pool.
