I also mentioned that the remains were in the original packaging that the funeral home had sent through USPS. I was told to have the death certificate and if possible to put the remains in a carry on. Going through TSA was a nightmare and I didn't have a choice. The package went through without a problem. They then took the remains out in full view and sent it back to be screened and then wiped the package down with whatever they used. I felt they disrespected my love one and me. Afterwards, they had difficulty putting the cremains back in the carry on, actually it took three of them. I am so disgusted with the treatment. I felt like I was smuggling something. It's hard enough realizing what the content was. TSA agents disrespect my love one and me.
