This store is truly like a jam packed museum of amazing artifacts, furnishings, tables, lamps, decorative arts and a host of other Moroccan and Jewish pieces hand picked by the owner direct from artisans in Marrakech, Fez and other parts of Morocco. The only such store in the Pacific Northwest, and a source of goods for other stores up and down the western US. The owner Hadji was friendly and effusive, informative and respectful. We bought two beautiful worked metal end tables and some dishes. Great positive energy in the store, Expect to browse for an hour (as we did) discovering one after another amazing hand made furnishings and household goods and art. We will be back as the store periodically refreshes its massive inventory with new shipments from Morocco.

After that, 2 days of actual painting saw the project completed. The work was done professionally and expertly. I'm a big fan of popping in here on weekdays over weekends. There's so much stuff and not a ton of room so it's really rad when you snag an off-peak moment to peruse. There's a shop cat, Charlie, that I've never seen leave the comfy chair in back and the owner, Heather, who is coolAF and actually super young- which is not typically what you'd expect from the owner of an antique and odd art shop. There's jewelry, Knick knacks, LOTS of art, of course. Many originals and if Heather is there she can magically tell you the origin story of the art and artist for EVERYTHING in the shop... and there's like 3000 things in the shop. Like any antique shop, it can be hot or miss and there's often piles or cramped aisles but that's called having character in the antique biz (I don't actually know that, just guessing) and I feel right at home here.
